After the horrible experience I had at King Nails Royal Oaks on Kirkwood last week, Im so glad I was able to find a place that knows what they are doing with amazing customer service. I will drive the extra miles for someone that makes their customer feel welcome and does an exceptional job. My first time there was amazing. I took a picture for inspo and they literally nailed it (pun intended). Nancy, my nail tech, was professional, friendly, and did my nails exactly how I wanted them. Thank you!! Will definitely visit again! Price point was great and she worked fast! Strongly recommend an appt as the shop was busy, but walk ins are accepted.

Kevin did a fantastic job on my pedicure! They give a wide range of options for both manicure and pedicure and with good prices! He was very explicable to someone who is a newbie to getting her nails done. The last time I went somewhere else I got cut, but he didnt hurt me at all but was very gentle. I was also informed that teachers get 10% off with a valid ID! Thats pretty neat. I will be giving them my business, I am very happy with the results and am waiting to get my manicure!

Opulent is my go to place as you can see! I have chosen a few times to go to a nail salon closer to me just out of convenience or pure laziness. I always end up going to see Bella at Opulent a week later to fix my nails after that bad decision. I can show her any picture I find online and she always leaves my nails just the way I want them. Absolutely love this place and Im so sorry for not posting sooner... I was being selfish by not sharing my favorite nail salon! In all pics shown nails are done by Kaitlyn! Be sure to ask for her and you can have awesome nails too! Even grown out they still look great and hold up longer than anywhere else.

I recently got a fresh set here and must say this is the best nail spot i have EVER been to! my nail technician Kaitlyn was nice, diligent, gentle and especially talented! i showed her a reference picture and the final result EXCEEDED my expectations! she beautifully handled drew the butterflies on my nails! furthermore, the interior was nice and relaxing, and the staff was very attentive and sweet. i recommend you give this place a try if you want exceptional service and QUALITY nails.

Super nice and clean place! Offered beverages as soon as I walked in! Kyle is by far the BEST ever at doing nails! Seriously, I am in the beauty industry and I work with my hands in water and with hair color all the time. My nails usually look grown out at soon as I leave the nail salon at my old spot and also lift up very fast or break very easily. With Kyle, he really took his time and gave me the best nails Ive ever had! He was super gentile and the nail length, shape, and design are on point! Ive been to the river, lake, ans beach the last 3 weekends in a row and have had my nails on for almost 4 weeks now and they are going so strong!!! Cant wait to see what amazing nails hes going to give me next time!!

New to the area. Was afraid to try a new nail salon only because I really liked my old one. This was the first place I tried. Showed the nail tech a picture and received exactly what I asked for!

Everytime I have gotten my nails done at Oppulent Nails. I have asked them to experiment with a picture I have. Every single time I get awesome compliments on my nails. I recommend them 100%.

Rude wouldn’t recommend. Nails weren’t done correctly so asked if it could be fixed. Had me waiting and when asked how long it’ll be the lady spoke in her language and walked straight to the back. I was sitting there for about 10 min and No one acknowledged me so I eventually left.

They did a good job on my feet and hands but when another customer walked in my lady started rushing. I did not like that. I didn’t get my shoulder massage and leg massage that came with my pedicure. Don’t know if I will go here again! Pay too much to be cheated.

Very nice people, will fix a nail if it messes up in the first week. Drinks too! They dont just conversate to do it, but when you come back they will ask you for updates on things you said a month prior. They have a rewards program thats better than any other nail salon.

Paid $72 for a rushed refill and pedicure. Staff did not offer me a drink. Got the upgraded pedicure and my feet still feel rough as all the callous was not removed. Very little massage even though the orange peel pedicure comes with additional leg massage time. Nail tech cut my finger with the drill because she was moving too fast. She was so rough with my fingers, twisting and pressing them to get to the cuticle. Only a few people in the salon so I was hoping to relax, but it ended up being a stressful experience with one lady pulling me one way and the other pulling me another way. At the end, everyone dispersed and I had to carry my own shoes and ask them to set me up at the drying station for my foot polish. That didn’t stop them from charging me full price though, even adding for the nail cut down and whatever else, even though the cut made my finger bleed and the customer service and quality was subpar. I had been here a few times before with mostly positive experiences, but this really ruined it for me.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to!! Kevin did a fantastic job on my toes and made me feel super relaxed during my pedicure! Miranda did an amazing job on my nails! I asked for a really complicated and unique design on my nails and she took her time and got every detail perfect! They also served me a glass of wine on the house! I cant wait to go back!!

It was my first time getting my nails done. It was super nice the person who was doing them made sure I was comfortable and that everything was perfect I love the way my nails look the color is absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail is stunning. I would absolutely go back. I went with my friend and I’m supper happy she found the place. She was saying it was the best nail salon she had ever been too. She drove 30mins just to get them done there. Can’t wait to go back😄😄😄

Walked in on a Friday and was told to come back in 20 minutes. I come back and was told to wait another 45 minutes. I decide to schedule an appointment for the next day. I come in the next day 10 minutes before my appointment which was at 11 a.m. and didnt get attended until past 12 noon. Everyone there was offered drinks, juice, etc. in glass cups. We were practically invisible. My daughters nails were done with an ugly gap at the cuticle and on top of that the guy charged us an extra $10 because he said the nails were long even though they were average length. Never going back. Horrible experience and they dont respect appointment times. Disappointing.

Got my nails done by Vi today and am not happy with how they look. At first glance they looked okay but as soon as I had a chance to look more thoroughly I noticed that the length of my thumbs & index finger are totally different on each hand. There is a bit of bubbling on the top coat, not totally smooth how they should be. I got coffin shaped tips and two of them are crooked. I should have inspected them better before leaving the salon but I was in a hurry, plus her customer service wasnt great and came off as rude.

I started coming here because it’s close to my job...and I LOVE IT. The girls here are good, but I love VEE! She is a beast with that dipping powder. Try her out.

Come to this nail salon for the first time after my coworker recommended to me. Its a cozy place and i got a really nice welcome from the employees. Their pedicure menu has lots of options to pick from and i chose the Honey Milk one since Nikky said its good and they use fresh orange and milk for your feet and you will get extra massages time for feet and neck too. So thats the deal. During the process Nikky was so nice and friendly, she made sure everything is ok and if i need anything id let her know right away. We had a lovely convo and lots of laughs together. She brought me my complimentary champagne and it was so relaxing. Came back today with my coworker and we tried a different pedicure and they were so good too. Nikky is my pedicure lady and Theresa was my friend’s. Both did awesome job and real fun. So good i found the place that have employee that took the time to know you and make you feel like home. Would totally recommend Opulent Nails Spa.

This is the worse nail shop I’ve been to. My first time going was today and it was a horrible experience. I am from out of town and can’t find a good nail shop to go to in Houston. Ridiculous! I had to tell the girl what to do. My nails aren’t shaped well. My nails aren’t the color I picked out. I kept telling the girl I didn’t like them. Bad enough I had to wait 30 mins to be seen. This was a waste of money and time. I will never go back there!

Service tech are very good. But OWNER is horrible! Once again they changed business practices. Tipped a tech $20 for services and tried to treat a friend for her birthday but was told I could not get a $4 discount off her service because she didnt have a discount membership. Thats STUPID! MY money was paying! They lost a good customer who spent $70 over $4. BAD BUSINESS

This was my first time visiting this place, it was beautiful and the service was great. My Mom and Sister have been coming here and love it. But my reason for putting two stars is because my nail tech Vi, was impatient and made it clear that what I wanted was not possible to do, yet the nail tech next her was doing what I was asking on her client my mom. She got very upset and did what I ended up asking for but with an attitude and very rude she then conversed with another tech about what I wanted and wasn’t being nice at all. She then was rushing and left nails thick and not evenly shaped and she even cut through skin while filing very rough on my nails so I have cuts on my fingers in the skin. I would not recommend her to anyone and I got there time. Again I wouldn’t recommend her. But I would recommend the place.

It was my first visit there, the gentleman that assisted me was very nice and welcoming. The pedicure I got was ok I asked for round square and my toenails were filed unevenly on both sides. One side was round and shorter than the other. I tried a dipping set for the first time and my nails came out lumpy it wasnt very noticeable because of the color I chose but I noticed it after. About a week after the top layer of color powder started to chip off and one of the nails broke off. I went back to get it fixed and the lady that fixed it didnt seem very nice and was in a hurry and didnt bother to shape it to match and when I asked about touching up the chipped nail she said that she would have to file it down and start over and didnt fix it. The reviews seemed great for this place and the gentleman that I met on my first visit was so welcoming and nice its such a shame that I didnt have a great experience with the nail technicians.

The nail tech started filing off my old nail so quickly my finger started burning. I thought I was being sensitive until he kept filing so quickly all my nails felt like they were on fire. Later he apologized saying he was upset because I’d come in at 6:30 when the shop closes at 7 and his family was waiting at home for him. I told him I understood, but because of a global launch with my work I’d been working 14 hours per day and had to be in a big meeting at 6AM so I had to have my nails done- which is why I’d arrived 30 minutes before close. I thought everything was good so when I realized my nails were super thick I asked him if he could file them down some. He said he couldn’t, he’d have to soak them and remove the powder he had just put on, and asked if I had time to do that. At this point it was 8:00PM... 1.5 hours after my arrival. My nails were uneven with ridges on them, and not even square. Because they asked me to pay at 7 (so they could close) and I did, I finally just left. He tried to tell me he’d refund the money for my nails but I just left without a refund because this super frustrating situation has nothing to do with money. I have to attend my meeting with the worst nails I’ve had in 16 years THEN go to my normal nail salon afterwards and pay to get them fixed... so much time and energy spent on a terrible visit. I am so beyond frustrated at the lack of any kind of customer service or care about keeping a new customer. I’ve never left a review -ever-... but this was such a mind boggling bad experience I decided to write one. (p.s I noticed a sign in the shop that says 5-10% off for leaving a positive online review, so I’m guessing the 4.4 review of this shop is skewed. )

Im very impressed. I was treated like a total queen. Kevin is so nice. I love his customer service skills. Hes wonderful!! He immediately asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I loved the fruity cocktail drink he made me. I got an ombre design and love how they came out. The massager chair feels amazing. I strongly recommend getting a pedicure,using the massager chair is a must. Ill be coming back again!

Being in the business of beauty I actually went to cosmetology school where I practiced nails for a few weeks...so I know the process of the full set application. when I came to this place I thought it would be good...I asked for natural and thin nails and when the guy got done I got chuncky fat wide ugly nails....worse nail application I have ever had...He was also very fast and sloppy. He even had an attitude becaue he knew he was doing a very bad job. Even my boyfriend did not like them he said they look like chicles. I am so disappointed with these nails. Im actually embarrassed to have them on...definitely getting these removed! They are so thick I cant remove them. They also hurt really bad. I will never go back here again! I do not recommend this place to anyone! Do not waist your money.

I always do shellac and told him I like square-sqaure. He filed my nails in such a way that the were U shaped and crooked. I told him to even out the edges to make them flat so they would actually be a square. He said, Look, theres no nail there. I cant make something out of nothing. Do you want fake nails? I said No, just file them right. Mind you, I have naturally long nails. Then I asked for a different nail tech. He said Fine! and tossed the nail file down and got the tech. He then came back and tossed me the file and said, File them how you want them....WOW!I didnt see the manager to tell her what happened but that incident was the final straw. I will never cause a scene. I like some of the staff, but quite honestly there are tons of other nail shops with more reasonable prices and better customer service than what Ive been shown today as a loyal customer. Im sad to say Ill be looking for a new nail salon.
