Dr Alfarso was amazing with my 98 year old mother. She was patient, accommodating and skillfully prescribed her glasses. My kids also go to VS and we all love the doctors.

Very disappointed in the service this office provides. First issue: my daughter lenses came in almost a month later. I honestly think the order wasn’t placed until I called to follow up. Second issue: my other daughter’s new glasses were filled with her old prescription instead of her new prescription. She complained to us stating she couldn’t see clearly. We finally made time to take her back in and come to find out they didn’t place the order with the new prescription. They are expediting the lenses with her new prescription but instead of waiving the office fee visit we were charged. Then they tried to sell us another pair of glasses. We used to love this office and the staff but it has gone downhill.Edit on 9/2I am updating my review as the issue is not Dr. Alfaro but the front office staff. I felt that she was genuinely sorry for the error. It is being rectified.

Dr Alfaro and her staff are really nice. Check-in was quick & easy. Their office / store is really nice and their equipment seems very modern. Exam was quick and thorough.

The people were all very nice and the facilities were fine but after several trips back I still ended up with glasses that I can’t use. Sometimes you just have to admit you bought a lemon! I just wish I hadn’t opted for the additional option so it would have been a cheaper lemon.

They are super nice here. Very helpful. Their glasses get pricey but they are accompanying

This was my first visit to Vision Source and I left extremely satisfied with the service. The business is beautiful and very well decorated. The ladies that work there are very nice, welcoming and informative. I was seen by Dr. Alfaro and it was one of the best eye appointments Ive ever had in my life. She was professional, very personable and fun to talk with. Again, I am so happy and satisfied with my visit.

Dr. Tranh is the best eye doctor I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been seeing eye doctors every year for 20 years. We will always go to him, even when we move houses. He spends a lot of time with you answering any questions. He really cares about his patients. I was so surprised he remembered everything we discussed relating to my personal circumstances a whole year later. Best eye doctor decision I’ve made.

Great selection of frames and excellent experience overall!Got my eyes checked out and a new pair of glasses (albeit pricier than most online retailers) here about two weeks ago. A great experience all in all - going from front desk, to full exam with optometrist, to picking out a frame in a littler over an hour. New glasses came fairly quickly and was ready for pickup within 3-4 days.

Would not intrust my eye healthcare to any other physician/facility. Dr. Alfaro is patient, informative, consise, and never rushed. Her staff is excellent at making your visit as comfortable as possible, and are very helpful choosing just the right frames along with the correct lenses for you. Great selection of frames for such a quaint place as well.

Dr. E. Alfaro has wonderful bedside manner and the office staff is kind, courteous and efficient. All of our family sees Dr. Alfaro for our eye care needs. We went here because our old doctor closed down her shop due to the 290 construction, but were so happy we found this place. Dr. Tran treated my husband and he said he was very thorough. Dr. Alfaro treated me and it was the easiest and most thorough eye exam Ive ever had. The technologies they use made all the difference, no more annoying air puff in the eye. I literally checked every box on the intake form because Ive been experiencing a lot of eye issues lately from dryness and watering to burning sensation and pain. After she finished her exam and concluded that my eyes were healthy, she told me that I had the wrong prescription. Assuming that my prescription had gone up and I was straining my eyes causing the eye issues, I was surprised to hear that my old prescription was too high which was actually causing all the symptoms I was experiencing. Who knew that too much power was a bad thing?!? Anyhow, she adjusted my prescription and now the symptoms have improved greatly and Im getting less headaches on top of that! I highly recommend this office for your future eye care needs. The technicians were also very kind and helpful. She adjusted my sunglasses that kept falling off my face and it made all the difference! They have a great selection of frames and Im very happy with my new Jimmy Choo frames that Dr. Alfaro helped me pick out. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

This is my local Vision Source and I am one lucky lady. The facility is state of the art and customer centered. The waiting area is cozy and has snacks and water. They even have a small space for kids in the waiting area which is fun and functional. ALL of the staff are genuine in their care for you. During my eye exam I mentioned to the technician that I HATE the test that feels like an eyelash in your eye but I didn’t even have to go through that because they have a state of the art machine that gets the same result WITHOUT the feeling of the eyelash in your eye. The doctor patiently went over my results with me and showed me examples of what certain issues could look like so I’d know what to look out for. When I went back to select my frames I was on an important call in the car and thought the sign said they closed at 7p instead of 2pm (which is why I need the glasses, right?) so I walked in at 1:55p as an associate was lowering the security gate and was briefly disappointed when I was informed that they were closing. However, a very KIND associate volunteered to stay late and help me. I was very grateful considering it had been weeks since my exam and I only had this day off of work to select frames. Not only did she stay, she patiently worked with me for about 45 minutes to pick a frame that was fitting for my style and usage. When I came to pick up the frames I was warmly greeted and taken care of quickly. They gave me sweet service and a little something sweet as well (chocolate 😋) before sending on my way with the assurance that if I needed to be refitted, or anything else, that they would be glad to help.

Even though I came in a bit late the staff were understanding and ready to take care of me. The staff was very friendly - instructions and what I needed to do was always clear. The staff even took extra time with me to offer advice on what glasses I might want to try on, how it might suit my facial structure better, etc. Great place to go.

Dr. Alfaro and Dr. Tran are very knowledgeable and communicative about the entire exam process. I always knew what they were doing and what they were looking at. Their staff was great also, they were able to help me choose a great pair of glass that fit my face and personality. Will definitely be coming back when I need to.

I had the lenses replaced in the two pairs of glasses that I own As my prescription had changed. The staff at Vision Source was very friendly and walked me through all the different options that I could pick for my new glasses. They also advised that I defer purchase of my second pair until after the new year to take better advantage of my insurance plan Reducing my cost.

During my first exam I never followed through with getting eye glasses because I found out I was having a baby and forgot to come back(pregnancy brain).Fast forward to a year later and I wished I would have returned because it turns out the glasses I had, before I started coming here, had a prescription that was too strong. I received my new glasses today and I’m starting to adjust- life is a bit more clear.Service wise, everyone is super friendly and genuinely concerned in making sure you get what you want. There’s refreshments in the waiting room but the wait time isn’t really that long, maybe 5-10 minutes max.Bonus** they are open on Saturday

I had LASIK surgery 5 years ago and recently noticed some changes to my vision so I scheduled an exam with Dr. Jonathan Tran. He was very thorough, explained my options to me and kept my best interests in mind. Rather than put me in contacts or glasses again, he said what I was experiencing was normal and at my current state, any additional correction would be a preference and not a necessity. You can tell Dr. Tran really cares about his patients and his staff provided great service from the moment I walked in the door. The office itself is modern, stylish, has a great selection of glasses and latest examination equipment. I was very impressed!

This was my second time visiting this office and Dr. Tran was just as thorough and professional as Dr. Alfaro was during my initial visit. I thought it would be less thorough than the first time around as they had my scans and history on file, but he patiently went through the exam and shared the results with us step by step in detail. I know yearly eye exams arent always prioritized, but he showed us the importance of eye health and being able to detect health issues through the eyes. Well definitely be back next year!

First time going here and it was one of best experiences at an eye doctor I have ever had! And I have been going to eye doctors dealing with glasses/contacts since I was 9 yrs. old. First off the place is very nice and clean which is a plus. They used high tech equipment which I havent seen at my previous doctor ot and I really enjoyed it. They are so patient and understanding with great personalities. And for the doctor shes wonderful! She was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. Left seeing clearer than I ever have. Found my new place for eye care!

I got a second opinion from Vision Source after unpleasant results from a national chain. Turned out my script was way off, but I knew this because I couldn’t see well. In fact my glasses were so bad I sought the second opinion. Vision Source had ALL the latest and greatest equipment, extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff and the Doc that saw me was the best Doctor I ever had for my eye exams!!! Take this advice: If a place claims to be the best priced, you stand a good chance of being disistified.

Great experience here. The doctor that saw me today really took her time and explain everything to me. She even went overboard and help me with the type of glasses that fit me well. Most optometrist would never do that but she treated me like she really care. I will definitely come back whenever its time for an eye exam . I live in Austin, Texas and had just returned from a international flight to Houston, Texas and was going to drive back to ATX. I was on my last pair of contacts and needed replacements same day. I called several places and Vision Source Westview was the only place that could get me a same day appointment. Dr Erica and her staff were super friendly and made you feel completely at ease. They have complimentary snacks and bottled water. I loved the selection of frames they have and just had to pick up a pair. They were able to fit me in store before I left and they shipped my contacts and eye glasses to me in Austin. They arrived and fit like a glove! I’m impressed!
