The staff, as well as the optometrist, was very professional and friendly. I felt they gave me all my options without the feel of a high pressure sale. The office was clean and well kept. I was satisfied with this visit and I look forward to coming back.

I think this is the best optometrist Ive ever been to and Ive been going for 30+ years in CA, TN, and now TX. Everything is so perfectly managed, they are always on time, classic and modern glasses to choose from, new technology so Ive actually learned a ton about my eye health just from talking to them. They even helped me get to the bottom of a peculiar issue no other doctor could figure out (a freckle inside my eye ball lol). Every doctor is smart, kind, and they all have very chill demeanors. 10/10

Optical Edge is awesome! Go see Dr. Nguyen. She knows what she is doing and she listens! I originally went there to get a pair of glasses a few years ago. Dr. Nguyen came out and did the measurements on my glasses herself. She listened to my preferences. They are the best glasses ever. I made an appointment to see Dr. Nguyen for a new prescription yesterday. They took a retinal picture. I’ve had many pictures but only Dr. Nguyen took the time to show me my retina and explain what she saw. She listened to me about my special needs and had my prescription correctly done quickly. I can’t wait to get my new glasses. I will be returning to Optical Edge from now on.

I love this office. Never one bad experience, great staff, both up front and in exams. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I have an eye condition requiring some fairly in depth examinations and I never leave the office wondering about anything as they answer all my questions and concerns. The office is in Clear Lake and I will advise anyone from all over the city to take the drive. They are beyond worth the time to get there. You will not be disappointed.

This was my first time coming to this location and Im happy I did. There are tons of parking so you shouldnt have a problem. My appointment was for 11:30am.. I came about 5 minutes early. I checked in while waiting in my car (filled out all my paper online prior to my appt). When I got the green light, Dr. Nguyen was very informative and patient with me, and so was the staff. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. If youre looking for a place for eye concerns, I would recommend Dr. Nguyen.

Every time I go in I feel welcomed and just so comfortable. The staff is amazing and very helpful. They are very professional and also personable which I enjoy. They have a wide range of glasses. My fiance and I just went in and we both had glasses ordered and it took less than a week!

I recently became a patient at OE by chance. I walked in and asked if they would be able to switch out a pair of lenses in my non-RX sunglasses that I did not purchase there. They changed them out (for $10, which I thought was way more than reasonable for someone who was not a patient nor did I purchase the glasses there). Also, it just so happened that I’ve been looking for a new optimist. The staff was so accommodating and friendly that I made an appointment with Dr. Nguyen (Thank you Elizabeth and Josh). I had an appt. a week later and purchased a new pair of glasses.Fast forward to after wearing my new specs for about a week...they just were not working for me. I called and made an appt to recheck and find a solution. Again, Josh was so gracious - he remeasured and listened to my concerns. When got up to forward info to Dr. Nguyen, a gentleman came over and told me that he was the one who made my glasses. I wasn’t aware at the time but he overheard our conversation and came over to explained in more detail how he made my glasses and how he was going to fix them. He was very genuine and apologized for the mistake. Side note: I don’t really think it was mistake, I just need a few specialized things bc of my job. The customer service at Optical Edge is impeccable and so very appreciated! Thank you to the entire team!

Dr. Nguyen was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable during my visits. All the staff was very patient, helpful, courteous and friendly. Im not just heaping praise for nothing. These folks really know how to accommodate their clientele. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. All I know is that I know where I am going to for future optometry visits. Optical Edge accepts my insurance and it was easy to get scheduled in for a routine eye exam amidst the current COVID19 which makes scheduling difficult in most places. The office was clean and staff friendly. Doc Nguyen was easy to speak with and performed a hassle free exam. I wasn’t planning on purchasing glasses today but changed my mind based on the options they had in store and how her staff made every effort to find frames right for me. Will happily return next year for another exam if needed!

My family and I love this optical! Every time we go, it is very clean and the staff is super professional & knowledgeable. They have a complimentary snack section that offers drinks and snacks which I think is very nice of them. (Especially if you have kids with you) The front desk staff explained in detail what we were being charged for. They don’t have a huge frame selection to chose from but the customer service is awesome!! I highly recommend this optical!

For a first time visit I was impressed with the service and the efficiency of the staff.The Dr. was most informative. I knew about the some of the things she explained but some of them I had never experienced with people who had the cataracts removed. What I liked is she wanted us to know what to expect and how the procedure was expected to work.

I came here for an eye exam and contact lenses that I was way overdue for. I was able to get an appointment quickly and received excellent service while I was there. The front desk staff were kind and knowledgeable, and the Dr. was thorough and made me feel comfortable. The pricing for the contact lenses was very reasonable, and I also received a rebate which made the cost a great deal! This is the only place I will go for my vision needs from now on.

This is a small family owned business that gives each patient time and attention. I have been going here for three annual checkups now. The reason that I changed to this business is because they have a reasonable contact lens fitting fee. Some optometrist locations charge a ridiculous amount for the fee that my insurance does not pay for. My previous eye doctor fell into that category so I shopped around until I found a reasonable fitting fee. Since that time, I have enjoyed each visit to the doctor and count on her to treat my aging eyesight.

Front desk and doctors are very polite and helpful. I took my six year year old for his first eye exam and they were very patient and understanding with him. My son is under the autism spectrum with sensory issues so I was worried he wouldn’t do well but everyone was so accommodating and understanding.
