Very good exercise equipment. Great 50m outdoor pool for lap swimming. I use it mainly for exercising, but there are lots of activities and adult education.

Really great resource for activities with Jewish people. I grew up going here. The prices have gone up quite a bit since I was a kid but it’s still a good place for kids. Supposedly they want to update the whole place with an expensive remodel. I say leave it as it is. It’s a little dated but who cares. It does the job and kids are happy there. A remodel will only cause prices to go up.

The J is a wonderful community center! We have been members for 10 years and love it. The kids programs are awesome, the BAC is second to none. We LOVE the pool, which is always sparkling clean and has a two story slide, rock wall, diving boards, swim lanes, splash pad--you get the picture. The J rocks!!

The JCC has a heimish feel to it. It feels like home surrounded by familiar people amazing beautiful energy. The gym is great the locker room is fantastic the experience is so pleasant ...

I attended a matinee of a play in their theatre. Very comfortable and intimate. Stage was very close to audience. Beautiful building, safe parking.

Im not Jewish, but a long time member of the JCC. I was a member from 1984 - 1990, then moved away from college. Have been a member since 1999, and now my whole family belongs. From the pool with the kids in the summer to the gym (the best!) and the dry sauna and hot tub in the womens health center (who doesnt love a good schvitz?), to the abundance of classes and lifetime learning, the J is MY communitys center.

Theyve lowered their prices once the place reopened after hurricane Harvey - related renovationsFitness facility is clean with all new equipment. Pool is very well maintained, though kept at 86 degrees to accommodate their moneymakers (swim lessons, water aerobics).Tennis center seems well run, but havent checked it out ordinary in several years.If youre a swimmer, they do have a second facility with a greater outdoor pool kept at a target temp of 83 degrees.Ill report more as I learn more.

We come here for the gymnastics program, it is top-notch. Have enjoyed other programs that we have been a part of also.

Clean, safe and well lit facility. Ideal for private meetings and conferences. Staff is helpful and courteous. They have a small cafeteria on the premises.

Has a big theater for performances. Ample parking and quite neighborhood

I love going to the pool this was really nice everyone is really friendly and it’s an amazing place to go hang out. The pool is really clean and there’s always lifeguard and it’s not too packed.

Very nice and clean. The community event was very well organized and despite being full, safety was being observed by the workers, staff and lifeguards. So glad we went

Been going here since I was a little girl.. The staff is like a big family. Great gymnastics team, dance class, gym and pool, tennis center and theatre where there are often productions. Took drivers ed here too

Great tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), great pool (for adults and kids), and great gym.

Great people, teachers, and employees its a very clean environment. Kids and grownups can play in the indor pool on cold days and the outside pool for warmer seasons. Theres a gym with MANY classes you can take with no fee if you pay for the sports and fitnes offer. Over all its a great place

Had a training class there on Thursday and everyone was friendly and welcoming.

This place is a joke, dont be a person of color or theyll turn their noses up at you. Hope you have eaten from the deli lol, whats more kosher than a side of roach? There is an infestation. Management is joke all together. There are plenty of other gyms here in Houston with better facilities that never flood. Something is always out of order in the fitness center. Want to hear a funny joke? League basketball at the Jcc. Theres a high turnover rate due to the way they treat the staff. Ive seen it first hand. When you walk into a Ymca its always warm and welcoming, I cant say the same for this place. I did meet some really nice members but the bad far out weighs the good. Spare yourself the headache.

Performed our drama Dont worry, be happy here on Sep 15th 2018. Theater is beautifully designed, acoustics are awesome. Staff were very friendly.

A real nice gymnasium and basketball court

Not handicapped accessible or stroller accessible. There are stairs all inside the building and no ramps inside. Cafe isnt kid friendly and there are no high chairs or seating that is safe for small children. Oh and forget about getting a cup of coffee or breakfast on Sunday morning... The cafe is run by an orthodox lady and she closes early on Friday, closed Saturday AND Sunday. I guess she is observant of Christian Sabbath too:-) The small cafe by the pool is supposed to be opened, but Ive never seen it opened until later in afternoon. Cafe I think is mostly interested in her catering orders and the cafe being opened comes second.Locker rooms are in horrible condition, the indoor pool is cold and they need a better pest control company to spray out doors around splash pad where kids play. My children were bitten by ants

Good equipment at the gym. Very clean and nice. Daycare, theatre, and gymnastic options for kids.

Nice small venue for performances, parking is a limited as there is more going on in other parts of the building when the stage is in use.

Delightful athletics program, including a heated indoor pool. Grand reopening for the fitness center is Sunday, 1/20/2018, and that will return members to the fitness center.

Nice stage for performances but coffee bar closed at 2 pm on a Friday and no place to grab a drink.

Great environment for families. Got a group of teens to Bruceville, Texas. Great community in Houston.

Really comfortable theatre experience. The play I went to see was a little weird, but thats not the theatres fault.

Great community center with an amazing indoor gymnastics academy with open gyms on Saturdays from 3-5pm.

Great gym. Often empty. Check the schedule before coming because it closes early on weekends.

Clean and friendly fitness center, excellent executive mens locker room facilities and nice pools. I especially enjoy the Krav Maga class on Monday and Thursday nights.

Great place! Kids can get their own membership if under 12, very reasonable

A very nice place to be a member of, they have a gym, a pool (indoor and out), yoga, a tennis court, gymnastics, and about a million other things.Ps. You dont necessarily have to be a jew, but dont get angry when they close early on Friday, and are out for Rosh Shawna, its in the name.

Best place for people of all ages. Plenty of activities.

Extremely accomodating, there are swimming pools for adults and kids, tennis courts, lots of different clubs, big beautiful building, kosher food is sold inside

Excellent facility and excellent coaches. This is my grandaughters 2nd year and she just competed in State Competition. With the training of her coach and this facility she came in 2nd Overall in her division . Higly recommend this Gymnastic Center.

Many various programs and events going on all the time. Theres also a fitness center and a kosher cafe.
