I recently had the pleasure to do a rotation with Dr. Karim as a clinical extern. During my stay i found Dr. Karim to be an exceptional physician, through his interpersonal skills, evidence based medical knowledge and his humility. He knew every patient on a very personal level and knew their entire histories off the top of his head. The patients specially admired how well he explained everything to them, cleared their doubts and gave them the ability to make informed decisions about their care. The staff at the clinic was extremely friendly and helped me get acclimated within a few days. The facility is also great with most of the cardiac diagnostic tests done in house. If anyone is look for a cardiologist or a career opportunity i highly recommend Dr. Karim. I have gained a lot under his mentorship and feel grateful for the opportunity.

I had the opportunity of doing a clinical rotation with Dr. Karim recently. He is an exceptional physician with a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards his patients. He is an excellent mentor who loves to teach his students. I learnt a great deal from him both clinically and professionally. The atmosphere of the clinic is very friendly and welcoming as Dr Karim treats his staff like family. He not only focuses on the cardiology aspect of the patient but also their over all well being. His regular and timely feedback to students really helps improve their performance. Due to the COVID delta variant surge, the staff is extremely careful with disinfecting precautions and wearing masks. Dr Karim always counsels every patient on COVID vaccination himself. I would highly recommend Dr Karim as a doctor as well as to medical students for clinical rotation. This is not an opportunity to be missed.

Dr. Karim is an incredibly experienced cardiologist who is always ready to go the extra mile for not only his patients but also for medical students and budding doctors by imparting his knowledge to them. His compassion in dealing with his patients is unparalleled and he thoroughly explains the diagnoses, procedures and treatment plans to them. The staff at his clinic is very courteous and friendly as well and I have had a wonderful experience communicating with them. The facility is well-equipped and most of the cardiac diagnostic tests are done in-house. During the surge in COVID-19 cases, it was made a point to repeatedly disinfect the clinic, and all appropriate measures were being taken to ensure patient safety. The option for telemedicine consults was also made available for patients that would choose to opt for it. All in all, I had an incredible learning curve while rotating with Dr. Karim and I would highly recommend him to patients as well as medical students!

Dr. Karim is one of the most kind caring and patient Doctors I’ve met. He always takes time to listen and walk his patients through their cases. Would recommend going to him for any of your heart problems.

My entire experience with Dr. Karims office was exceptional. From getting me an appointment set up on the date I requested to his friendly and professional staff, was very impressionable. The cleanliness and the measures taken to make me feel like everything was disinfected and safe, made me feel even the more comfortable in his office. I was even told that if I felt more safe, I could call when I arrived and they would get me straight into a room with no waiting in the lobby.Once I was in, the staff treated me very good and Dr. Karim is very knowledgeable, professional, good in diagnosing and addressing my issues. From the time when we met Dr. Karim, it was quiet a reassuring experience. My father is seeing Dr. Karim for the past 10 years. As my father couldnt go personally for regular follow up with the Doctor, we had a virtual visit recently with him and it went well.Dr. Karim patiently listens to the problems and takes his own time for understanding the patients medical history, concerns and explains the diagnosis to them. He also stresses on importance of lifestyle modifications on heart.His experience reflects from the way he treats. He is very polite, very caring, a patient listener, learned and a keen observer. Im a lucky medical student who had the great opportunity to be one of Dr. Amin Karims students. First of all he is a very professional doctor and very knowledgeable about the latest in treatment for heart condition. Secondarily, he answers all patients concerns and has an excellentpatients physician relationship , and he gives the patients enough time to tell about their concerns. Thirdly, As a teacher he explains to his students the heart conditions by giving example from the real life so he makes it easy to student to understand. This excellent doctor has treated me and my family for over 25 years. He is a very bright and caring doctor for whom cardiology is second nature to him now. He has privileges at many hospitals. He is an excellent clinician! I see someone said his office would rip you off. To the contrary. When I was paying for a test he actually sent my check back to me saying insurance had covered enough. Who does that? I highly recommend Dr. Amin Karim and his office is not in the medical center anymore so no hassle to get there and no charge for parking!

Dr Karim is a highly recognized cardiologist in the Houston Medical Center area. He is very kind and attentive to each of his patients and his staff is very helpful and kind.

One of the best offices I have been to, the staff was very professional and Dr. Karim is very thorough and explains conditions well to his patients.

I am thoroughly disappointed with my experience with Dr. Karim and the staff at Dr. Karims office, particularly Aidee Canales. I arrived for my appointment on time, and was told by Aidee that Dr. Karim left on an emergency and would not be able to see me and that I would need to come back the next day. After I told her that I would not be able to return the next day because of my work schedule, she was extremely curt, rude, and dismissive. This individual should not interact with patients as she lacks the most basic skills needed for patient care. With regards to Dr. Karims care and attention, he was unaware that I needed two tests to be perform and after I mentioned the tests were purpose of my visit, he asked me to come back yet again as the technician was not there. I then decided not to follow up with Dr. Karim or his unprofessional staff.

I had the privilege of meeting Dr Karim when I was having some health problems in 2016. He was very thorough in his examination trying to figure out what was going on with me. After an exam and some bloodwork, he was able to give me the medications I needed. I recovered quickly and was even followed up to make sure everything was ok.Thankyou Dr Karim....5 stars from me!

Dishonest billing designed to force customers to pay extra money by ordering nonstandard tests (not requested by patient and not covered by insurances) during routine annual exam. Unethical at best. Steer clear of this practice.
