Please be aware and lookout, i had asked them the prices multiple times ahead of my haircut and tonning and were given some prices . I was given a quote of such amount and charged another. After even arguing with front desk they declined to call the hair dresser to confirm what i was told. I have 100 and 100 of dollars here before but this is the first time i was over charged here. Service which was told 60-70 and charged me 120 . My friend got done same service at first colony location for 75 at the same time my total came out too 175. And the receptionist was so rude and replied “you have to pay just because the dresser wrote this on paper”.Just warning others to be careful and ask as it could be anyone.

Meta is AMAZING! She started cutting my hair a year ago, when I wanted a drastic change. She has since helped me through other styles, and works with my thinning hair issues. I highly recommend her! Only Meta.

My usual request from any hair stylist is a simple cut-and-color. My hair has been in the same style and length for years, no matter what salon I go to. When I visited Visible Changes, however, my request for a simple trim with my hair dyed was horrifically botched. The stylist cut my hair way too short, even after I specifically asked her not to cut too much. She also cut my hair unevenly, making me look as though I had a Mohawk that grew out a bit. The service was very unprofessional, and, in my opinion, they should hire stylists who listen to their customers and actually know what theyre doing. I will not be a customer here again, I do not recommend it to others either. 0 Stars

I requested balayage from Ali. I had virgin hair and now is completely dry. I explained I didn’t wanted my hair to be completely bleached and I wanted honey color… my hair is almost white. And dry. I was asked to go back to fix it but I am afraid I will end up with my hair more damaged. I got a very nice haircut with Jennifer. I do not recommend this place.

An Absolutely awesome team, I went in during a very tough time during the pandemic as we are all having. But it was my 1st visit after at least 4 years. As a nurse, I guess I just didnt make time and wanted to be very careful of where I went. But it was past time for ME TIME. I was in tears after 15 minutes of being there and it was honestly due to the amount of stress I was under and not really knowing if I had time to be there, again I hadnt taken time for my self since the pandemic began. Long story short Robert Montez and Maria were absolutely AWESOME. EVEN IF I WASNT A NURSE, NOT HAVING TIME FOR SELF, HEALTH AND BEAUTY WOULD HURT ANYONE. AND THEY MADE IT THEIR PRIORITY TO MAKE SURE I LEFT HAPPY. It didnt take much but it wasnt easy either. Thank you for encouraging me to stay and make time for myself and my health HUGE HUGS! 🤗

Ive been going to Visible Changes in the Houston Galleria mall every 10-12 weeks for over 3 yrs now. Laura has been doing my color and Meta has been doing my Keratin treatments and my cut/blowouts. These two are by far the best people that have done my hair in over 40 yrs. They are very caring friendly people that take their time with you to do what you want done, while doing an excellent job. All their employees there are very nice and professional, and the salon is always clean. I will never go anywhere else!

I called to make an appointment for my daughter and the front desk lady was super rude, the name she gave me is Rosa.Every time I call to make appointments it never fails that the Front desk will have a bad attitude or is rude. Visible changes needs to retrain the front desk employees.I have never had an issue with any of the hairdressers it is always at the front desk employees. It doesn’t matter how polite or nice you are to them they’re always gonna be rude to you.

Wow,Esme was my stylist.She has wonderhands. I could not do it the way she.does. it was well worth it. When ahe was done, the change was ..... visible.

I really like getting my haircut here. They have many professional stylists and there is a really nice and sophisticated feel to getting your haircut from here. The haircuts themselves are a bit pricey, but I would say that they are more than worth it. They typically wash your hair before the haircut which is very relaxing.

My wife and two kids had their hair cut. Said $18 for kids. When we checked out they charged $50 for the kids haircut. Said we were informed before the haircut, but we not. Who is going to pay $50 for a kids haircut?We also very rude!

The person who dyed my hair was polite and nice to talk to. Didnt get the type of color I wanted, black with more blue so the blue shows in the sun- but I can fix that myself. I got a deep conditioning treatment and they didnt put the oil in my hair. They said they would after a hot towel treatment and then just kinda rushed me out. I know I should have said something but I was dead tired so oh well. Ive been here before for other things and liked it so theyre not bad by any means, just make sure you are getting what youre paying for.

I just called to this place the receptionist name rosa seems so rude and unprofessional. I wanted to book my appointment for hair cut, keratin treatment and highlights and she asked me any stylist I am looking for so I just told her names of stylists which I want and before completing my conversation she just hang up I don’t understand how she is still there after so many bad reviews for her. every time I am calling and she just put my call on hold and then hang up without letting me know anything. Before also I tried to call and book my appointments but same results as this time. May be visible changes not paying proper attention towards how their receptionist talked on phone and how they handle the customers. It’s been a month I’m trying to get my appointments but no use. Ridiculous service……..thank you now I’m not going to call this place again and don’t want any services from here after all this.

I had an amazing experience getting my hair colored by Amanda! She was so sweet and just an amazing stylist. My hair was damaged when I got there and she let me know what would work best for my hair to make sure it wouldn’t get damaged any further. I Loved her honestly and personality and I can’t wait to go back to her for a touch up!

Me and my sister made an appointment at 3:30 but we were late by 16 mins. It’s not easy to get parking space or find store easily in galleria. When we got there they said that we were late and there is no stylist available. Right beside us there was a stylist listening to our conversation lol. I don’t understand why they made us pay security deposit over the phone if they couldn’t even keep the appointment we made. Y’all should have told us about the policy or make call beforehand. To make another appointment I gotta pay the fee again!! Really? WASTE OF MONEY!!Also went to another place in Bellaire and they did a great job.

This Salon does not cater to all hair types, even though they say they do. I’m Bi-racial and had a hard time finding someone to do my hair at this salon. My mother(Caucasian) was a beautician and master colorist for 24 years and never had a problem doing my hair type or any other ethnicity. So it’s a little disappointing not being able to get your hair done. I was told they needed to wash my hair at first, which if your know anything about curly hair. You shouldn’t cut it when it’s wet, because of cutting it even. Also they insist on flat ironing my ALREADY straighten hair in order to give me a hair cut. This is terrible service....

Bad experience... I had called to see if there was someone that specialized or was skilled enough to do what I wanted to do for my hair. The receptionist said yes and I could choose which level of color technician I would prefer I had two options. I selected the highest. I asked if I could have a consultation with her (Melissa) prior to booking an appointment and she said yes just drop in today between now and 7pm. I dropped in a couple hours later. When I arrived I told them I had called for a consultation with Melissa. I was told it would be about 20 minutes because she was with a client. I was offered the option to stay and wait or leave and come back. I didnt have anything to do so I waited. The twenty minutes came and went so did customer after customer. No one ever came over to follow up with me, but they kept watching me sit there while I watched them. I finally, saw the receptionist that told me it would be 20 minutes and asked her how much longer did she think it would be. She said oh Ill check with Melissa again, knowing Id been sitting there all that time. She went off to talk to Melissa and never came back. I waited for more than enough time and left. All they had to do was say shes too busy, or it will be longer than we thought, she cant/wont do it (I have naturally curly hair), something! They chose to just keep watching me sit there... complete waste of time. I used to spend a lot of money there for years and always left happy. Then my stylists left one by one. Ill never go back and Ill spread the word not to waste time with them.

My experience with the place at first I was standoff-ish, I had to swap barbers cuz she couldnt do an edge up. After meeting my new barber JOEY! I had a good feeling about the guy, he is very professional and got my input on every decision even gave great suggestions. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the way he prepped my hair before cutting it. Needless to say I will come back and ask for Joey . Check him out wont disappoint

The results are always flawless. 😊😊Yearly update: I still use Meta as my hairstylist. She is sweet, attentive and overall amazing. I have my wedding in two days and I asked her to only give me a tiny trim. I wanted to keep the length as much as possible. She stays true to her work. She left my hair basically the same length and looking super healthy!!

I came here to get my hair colored and after it was done, I was rushed over to get it blow dried and styled. The blow dry and style was so rushed. She spent a total of 5 mins on it and the curls fell out so quick. It felt like they just wanted me out ASAP. I didn’t even get a chance to see the color till mid way through the curling since they had me turned around in the chair. When I said it was lighter than what I asked for, I was told the lady who did the color might have left but didn’t bother to go check. Only until I repeatedly asked did the stylist go and check. I understand they may have been busy but this was not the standard of service I paid for!

Dropped off daughters for just a haircut, stylists took the initiative and washed and conditioned and ect. Holding me liable for the extra charges. Ended up paying 3 times the price to settle and avoid more of an embarrassment. They even called the cops because I was disputing the extra charges. I felt so bullied to pay. The stylist even raised her voice at my daughter in the dispute. Shouldn’t they have asked me before going above and beyond a simple girls haircut?

Staff friendly, prices ok. Not convinced every stylist knows what their doing though. Was given a smoothing treatment w/o proper pre-treatment hair washing.

Amanda is a world class colorist. She was the third or fourth artist to work on my hair at this location several years ago, and I havent strayed from her since. She has an impeccable eye for undertones and anticipates the entire lifespan of the color. I only color twice a year, and the tone wears just as well 20 weeks after the appointment as it does after the first few washes. To greater fortune is her incredible personality and professionalism. We laugh through the entire appointment, and she is forever receptive to un-informed input and poorly considered style requests - she knows its going to come out looking fabulous. I dont even live on the continent any more, but I will book with her as long as shes providing her expert services.

You never know who your going to get! I have been here more than a few times. Sometimes the stylist does an Awesome job other times not so much at all. I have paid for their higher paid stylist and received quality as the lower paid stylist and vice a versea! So thats why I say you never know who youll get. Everyone is friendly and its always clean!

When I moved to Houston from Europe few years ago, I was not sure if I’d be able to find a good stylist here. I decided to give Visible Changes a try and never had to look elsewhere! This salon never disappoints. I’ve had appointments with various hair stylists at VC and was always happy with the results. The prices are super reasonable for the US, especially given the location and professionalism of the staff. Will be coming back!

META ! She is just amazing infact theres no words I have, to explain how she changed my look and my hair in these 2 years. From flat dead styleless damaged hair (i used to hide behind in buns) to a fuller shiny healthy stylish Layers. She tought me how to take care of my hair & guided me how to blowdry them and bring out the best of style in them. I owe her big time for how my hair looks right now. Iv gotten so many compliments on my hair since Iv been going to her. She is extremely talented and hardworking. She knows and understands exactly what you need to do to your hair. Anel did amazing work cutting my hair. I initially called for a cut/perm. They only scheduled the cut. Anel quickly got with others to find someone to squeeze me in for the perm. Laura did such a great job - it’s the best perm I’ve had. Then I was taken back to Anel to make sure the cut looked good post perm. Ill definitely return again.

I’ve been to the Visible Changes in the Galleria at least 7 times now and I’ve never had a bad experience! Getting my hair cut usually makes me really anxious for some reason but I see Claude every time and she’s amazing. She’s very punctual, friendly, and actually OFFERS SUGGESTIONS. It’s very refreshing. I like getting her honest and professional input, and she listens to what I want. She can always help me find affordable solutions to my hair/scalp needs, and she’s never pushy. I would highly recommend Claude to anyone. My hair is insanely thick and long and she takes her time to make sure I leave happy every time I see her.

I went there as a walk in without appointment and got one for one hour later, got the roots colored by Laura and a cut by Randy, both did a good job and were friendly and helpful by making a choice and i left the salon happy and satisfied. I would go there again, its also good prices

Meta is the best. I was struggling to find a hairdresser who can cut my long hair in layers. About 4 years ago I met Meta. Since then she has been cutting my hair and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone but her. I don’t need to have a whole speech to explain what I want. She got it! Even when I feel that I am ready for something different from my usual haircut, she gives great advices and the final style looks awesome! When I had my wedding day, I knew exactly who would style my hair. You got it, that was Meta!!!

Y’all visible changes changed my life. First off affordable and not to bad to get too. Blaire does my hair color and y’all she is amazing. I have crazy thick hair and she always makes a miracle happen. If you are looking to try anyone for color I promise you will not regret Blaire. She is color queen! The best colorist in Houston is Amanda at VC Galleria!!!!! I feel like I can say that because I’ve been to so many high end salons searching for more than a decade for the color stylist that can get my desired results. Asian hair is one of the hardest to lift without turning it brassy and Amanda manages it with perfection! I’ll never forget the day, 3 yrs ago, when I was desperately looking for a good stylist for an important event and thank God he put me in Amanda’s chair. I’m so grateful I found her and will never be desperately seeking a stylist ever again!!! I always feel my best when she does my hair. I recently got my hair cut and styles by Grant, and I love the results. My hair was in need to some TLC and that’s exactly what it got. I showed him a picture of how I wanted my hair to look like (medium length with layers) and he delivered even better results. He was very knowledgeable and told me which products he used on my hair and I’ll be back later to purchase them. My hair feels so healthy and looks better than I imagined it would. Strongly recommended, great results and conversation.

This is a full service salon. Ive been going to a barber for a while but out of convenience, and the desperate need of a haircut, decided to check out Visible Changes again. I have naturally curly hair and Sarah knows how to cut it and shape it well. I will definitely see her again even though galleria traffic absolutely sucks. The experience was very relaxing with a shampoo before the cut and good conversation.

I’ve been a permanent client in the Galleria area location for many years. I would mostly go there to color my hair. However, when it came to cutting my hair I would constantly switch hairstylists. Eight years ago I discovered for myself a new comer hairstylist- Meta. Her great sense of style and a wonderful friendly personality made her my and my whole family favorite hairstylist. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a great expertise in the art of making people beautiful. I recommend her to all of my friends. And all of them are very happy with the results. Meta is one of the top artists in the Galleria area salon. Book your appointment with her. She is wonderful!

Would strongly urge to stay. They dont take their jobs seriously, rush you out the door, and charge you an arm & and a leg for an average haircut before doing so... Worse of all their their inconsistent customer service and rude front-desk lady. My last experience after being a long time client came in November 2018 when I had an appointment for 6:10 pm, got there 10 minutes early, and 30 mins later around 6:45pm, I didnt even get called or noticed by management. I told them to never call me again and tell Joey that he shouldnt be expecting to see me. I am not surprised because the last 3-4 times, management and people skills got worse. I wouldnt be surprised if they are cutting strings due to COVID-19 or they just dont take their jobs seriously. Well its too bad because Joey did know how to cut hair

Since I moved to Houston, I’ve tried several high-end hair salons in the area and in an attempt to find the perfect haircut. I decided to try Visible Changes. Devanhy does the perfect haircut every single time without fail, and I’ll never go anywhere else again! Not to mention- I always get compliments :) She nails it every time, is very easy to communicate with about how I want my cut, and the time flies by because she’s so funny and sweet to talk with.All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the store even has its own parking right by the entrance to the blue garage, which makes for a very convenient trip to the mall.

If you come here, you must ask for Claude! Receiving any type of service from her is an experience. Everything from the hair washing (she gives the BEST scalp massages!) to the cutting, the styling, etc. - she does it with care and grace. She will make sure you are comfy in your seat and she really takes the time to understand her clients wants and needs. I also have a bad neck and Claude always makes sure to lay extra towels on the sink for me for more support when I get my hair washed. This level of service goes above and beyond - you wont be disappointed.

Dont waste your time here! They treat minorities like second-class citizens and had my sister waiting 50 minutes on her salon day even though she had been a loyal customer... Not surprising why you dont see a black person working there. This place is a DISGRACE to Houston

I came here 2 weeks ago wanted to go icy blonde, wanted to try something new, I didnt get what I wanted. I paid 250$ for half of what I got. Such a waste of money and gas. plus the lady was so much in a hurry to do my hair. AND out of those 250 I didnt even get a cut, not even my split ends. This was my first and last time at visible changes. Wow, I thought I was going to be amazed, but I was disappointed. I did not get no receipt also. I try to contact the lady who had done my hair on Instagram and she decided to ignore me. I cant believe my hairstylist who I been going to since I was in elementary and charges 80$ fixed what they have done. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN.

My experience with Alejandro (Alex) was amazing! He’s friendly, welcoming and makes the experience so much better. I can come in not having best day S he just brightens my day and I end up leaving with a smile. I have been coming to this location for over a year going to different stylists but never felt the client/stylist connection until I went in with Alex. I’m glad Visible Changes has someone like Alex working there and he’s a major asset to the team!

I’ve been going to Blair for several years now and I would recommend her to anyone! She is so talented and I always leave her chair so happy! For the longest time I was doing all over brown because I was afraid of change. She urged me to try balayage and I’m so glad she did. She makes it look so natural and blends so well. Plus my appointment with her is always so fun- she keeps me laughing the whole time!

José recently dyed my hair much lighter and I am in love with my new hair. I get so many compliments on the color. José carefully reviewed all the Pinterest photos I showed him, and worked his magic on my hair. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and his great personality. I literally drive over 150 miles to go to this salon!! Meta has been our stylist for my daughter and I for years! She is an expert with hair, with caring about beauty as well as health. She recently suggested the scalp treatment, I tried it for the first time and OMG it has completely transformed my hair into perfection! Yomaira is the BEST! She is awesome makes you feel comfortable! I showed her a picture of the hair color I wanted and she did exactly that!! I was extremely happy with the outcome and received many compliments. I drive all the way from Katy!! I highly recommend her you will not regret it! 😊

There’s a lot to be said about people who put a lot of themselves into their crafts. . My color stylist, Blair, must have magic hands She listens and gives you what you ask for. Not only do I look top notch after she’s finished, I also feel like I just had coffee with a long lost friend. She’s such a stupendous person who remembers people’s names! That’a just cool. AMAZINGLY TALENTED PERSON.I also am lucky to have found Grant! He is a supreme hair cutter. He takes time to make sure he got every snip just right! Please go see this guy!I recently had a little hiccup with one of my visits (not with the above stylist) and Robert and his management team jumped in and took care of everything and never let me feel like I was a burden. Great customer services, extremely pleasant, clean place with highly talented people...Why would you go anywhere else??? Thank you so much guys for keeping my hair on point!

I go to Blair for my color and Alejandro for my cut. They are a great duo team, and always make sure I leave looking fabulous! They also keep me very entertained during the process. Lastly, the reason why I keep going back to Visible Changes is the designated parking for customers in the parking garage. Parking at the Galleria is always terrible, but this is a very nice touch that I appreciate. I even convinced my Grandma to go and she also appreciates the parking as well.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, and was treated horribly by snobby people that all stood around in their uniforms talking about themselves. When I asked the status of my stylist, I was told to be seated and they would check. I watched the girl for 10 minutes and she did nothing but talk to other employee about their hair. The first time I went there, I had a great experience. The stylist was great. But this last experience was so bad, I will never go back. This place is filled with egomaniacs that only car about their hair to the detriment of customers. Safe your time and money and go elsewhere.

I have been coming to see Blair for years - there isn’t anyone else I trust with my color! I know she will get it right and she knows exactly what to do even when I don’t know what I want. I always look forward to my appointments with her - she makes every visit so much fun!

Meta is the best hair stylist at Visible Cahnges. She gave my hair a huge makeover, from the haircut to the scalp treatment that she recommended. I had a dry itchly scalp and she recommended a treatment and from the first time I could feel a big difference in my scalp, felt clean and unclogged. It took me a while to try different artists but finally found the perfect one and she is Meta. She takes care of her customers listens to what you want and gives recommendations that are always helpful. She will never cut too much hair unless you ask for it and you will always feel happy fresh and beautiful when you leave the salon.

Just started going here in December 2019 and I love it its a great atmosphere the staff is really nice and friendly. Ask for Ambra for color and Grant for a cut hes phenomenal my hair has never looked better thanks to these 2 amazing professionals! Highly recommend it, now it is pricy but you get what you pay form

BLAIR IS THE BEST! She has helped me with all of my hair disasters and made me feel beautiful again! My hair has never been this soft and long and it is because of her.
