The women at this salon spa were very professional and timely which I appreciate however I did not care for the type of wax that they use. The wax that was used for a Brazilian was a role on wax chocolate and it did not cool the hair out of the route the way I want it to. I did not have another option of using a hard wax which is preferred for my course they cared so I would recommend this for somebody with finer hair

It was my first time getting the Hollywood-Full Brazilian Wax. Ladies, if you are uncomfortable about getting your wax for the first time, DON’T BE!! Because this is completely normal! Lizna & Zohra is really amazing at doing the wax and makes it really comfortable for your first time experience! They do a great job on making sure they’re talking to you while doing the process and making different recommendations! I will definitely come back again❤️ Great experience for me! I’m obsessed☺️

I went to Queens Beauty Salon and Spa on Highway 6 and the service was phenomenal! The Brazilian wax was done quickly and there was no hair left. There was a little pain at first but a majority of it was painless. Rosey was very calm and polite which made me relaxed and comfortable for my very first wax. I am very excited to go back in 3-4 weeks.

What a joke this place is along with their other location on W Airport and the owner! I went in on Saturday after booking appointment for my Brazilian blowout over a month ago! The lady working didn’t know I had an appointment and proceeded to start on my hair not following the directions for blowout on Brazilian blowout official website I asked her why and she stated “ma’am I am a professional and every salon has different process!” I complained and asked for owner to speak with who was also very rude! I would be shocked if the girl working on my hair had a license! I will be complaining to the state board on Monday! This place is not worth a pennyThey say the lady doing my hair was licensed and Brazilian blowout certified but she washed with anti residue shampoo and anti frizz shampoo then started applying solution. You apply solution after drying hair that has only been washed with anti residue shampoo.

I found this place last min through Groupon they were able to take me the same day. I was was serviced by Rozzy and Hannah for a Brazilian wax and vajacial. They used chocolate wax and left no hair behind which is a plus because I’ve been many places and hair would still be present. I was told they do vajacials during my visit and instantly said yes to it which was the best decision ever. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time this by far was the most painless waxing ever. Will definitely return

Trust me when I tell you to NOT COME TO THIS PLACE NO MATTER WHAT!!!! The lady did an absolute horrible job on my eyebrows. My eyebrows used to be full and fluffy. Now they are very thin and I barely have anything on them now. When I was getting them done, I tried to look up because it was taking a long time and I was curious on why it was taking so long. When I tried to look up she pushed my head down and told me to wait. I was shocked at how rude she was. Something else to add on is that they aren’t even. One was thinner than the other. I left that place crying. Just how I stated in the beginning, do not come to this place. Waste your $10 dollars on a better place that will give you a good outcome.

The price is obviously the best in town for a Brazilian but you definitely get what you pay for, this is the second time Ive come in and gotten burns from the wax, it turns really red and hardens over with a scab, and once I exfoliate it bleeds a little then comes off. The skin underneath is very sensitive, its a little painful, not excruciating. Also they leave a lot of hair behind. If youre on a budget and dont mind plucking and waxing the rest of the hair yourself thats left behind yourself then its not a bad deal. Customer service is great, I got my very first Brazilian wax here and they didnt make me feel awkward at all!

Do not get eyebrows threaded here!! I have never in my life had my eye brown look as hideous as they did after coming here. They need to retrain some of the staff ASAP. I think it’s insane that I went in to get my eye brown threaded and came out with two different eyebrow shapes, painful cuts from the threading and barely any hairs left compared to what i used to have. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for YEARS and decided to give this place a try because it was closer to me but i regret it ( i should also mention that it was very painful afterwards because i got cut which has never happens to me). When i expressed to the worker that they were way to thin and uneven she said they looked fine but they obviously were not. I left the place crying and they told me i shouldn’t cry that they look fine and that the next time i come they will fix it. The damage is done and i’m disappointed with this shop, i hope you guys learned something from this experience because it was not okay what happened today. You should not allow someone to work on a client on such a delicate part of their face if they are not trained properly. There is no reason for my eyebrow shapes to be completely different and no reason for there to be cuts on me from the threading. Do better queens, i do not recommend getting your brows done here. Horrible experience!!

I got a Brazilian wax and also brow threading. I was skeptical at first because I bought the voucher on Groupon for $16(Dont judge me....or do IDC), but it was amazing. When I got arrived to the spa there was no customers inside. The two ladies directed me to a room and completed my service. Hannah and the other lady(sorry I can’t remember her name) were amazing. It went quick and easy, the room was clean and the customer service was great. I would highly recommend! The price was very reasonable. I will be a returning customer.

I went in to this place to have my eye brows done and tinted, while in there I got a face massage they didnt even bother to take me to quite spot they did it right there at the chair. I also counted about 10 people been at this place at once they do not care about COVID at all. The lady that performed the face massage had her mask away from the nose. I was so very uncomfortable thinking I could catch the virus right there... they asked me if I was OK I said no. I paid and left... never coming back!

Pathetic! I went there for waxing service. The girl who did my waxing she was doing it so perfectly until she got interrupted by her manger. She was continuously calling her name and then she started to speed up which resulted in tore skin. My skin got tore from many areas. Her manger wanted her to rush so she can take another customer. And when I complained the manger about it she gave me a lame excuse.Cheap wax and cheap service.

The staff is unprofessional, I went their for waxing and I also asked about their tools sanitation/cleaning process, not upto standard as from what i have learnt and read. At first they seemed friendly over the phone and when i first got there, but then when in the room for my appointment they started to speak about me and they also very rough how they were carried out the procedure(I understood everything they said and it was very rude stuff, not knowing i could understand them), this happened with not just me, but while waiting my turn for a room available for my appointed time (appointment) which was called and confirmed weeks in advance, many of the staff were talking in their own language about the clients they were assisting in front of them at the time complaining or saying rude things about them, many clients dont know the staffs language so completely unaware.Also i noticed a lot of the tools they were using we not clean ie had grime on them & many were rustedThis is highly unprofessionaland also morally unacceptable.I would NOT recommend at all for waxing or threading

Ive found this place on Google and been going there past few months . They have an excellent customer service and jasmine and her staff always did a good job on my hair and waxing services. During my last visit I tried there herbal hot oil massage and purchased some herbal hair oil. The product really worked. Its about 3 weeks and I can see the difference. Thank you Jasmin for the recommendation. Very professional and sweet people.

I went to this establishment twice because I wanted to give them a second chance and they’re pretty cheap. I got a Brazilian both times and my second experience was even worse than my first. I have so many complaints that I have never experienced anywhere else. The wax was way too hot and discolored my skin where it burned me. I am swollen in places that I know got burned and I am expecting more discoloration over the next few days. The door was wide open as I was changing and as I was getting waxed another lady just walked in and started helping. Do NOT get a wax here if you care about the appearance of your skin

I used to go to a different salon off Harwin, but I was driving near my house on the west side one day and saw Queens. The prices were almost exactly the same so I went in. I haven’t been anywhere else since then and that was probably a year ago. The atmosphere of the salon is clean and comfortable. Every service I’ve received has been excellent - from threading to facials to waxing. They also got me all threaded and waxed on my wedding day, which made the day extra special. I will never go anywhere else. I love this place so much.💜😘🌹❤️

DO NOT GO HERE! I am a licensed esthetician and reusing roll on wax is very unsanitary and illegal! Roll on wax is to be used only for one person and then discarded! They’ve been using the same roll-on on everyone’s private areas! There’s no way to disinfect a roll on cartridge!

Very quaint location with wonderful services. They use a chocolate creme wax that doesnt hurt as much. They will match Groupon on prices and have great deals as it is. For the price of a Brazilian at a leading wax salon chain this place offers a full legs, arms, underarms, and Brazilian. I drove over an hour to this place, and the service alone made it worth it. When I asked how they practice sanitation they were very clear on how they clean their wax stations and very professional. ❤️ I will be making another hour drive up there in my future. I always get Brazilian waxes from here, typically as a walk in due to my random work schedule. Even as a walk in, I never have to wait long. My visits are always pleasant -I leave feeling brand new each time! 😁If you’re worried about the pain, there is barley any. For example, whenever a particularly sensitive spot is waxed, pressure is immediately applied to ease the discomfort that comes with the territory, and what a difference that makes!! I love it here! 🥰

I usually come to this spa to get my Brazilian & underarms waxed but lately their wax has been too hot to the point of burning my skin & the ladies that waxed today were so rude, i will never come back ! Id rather pay more and be treated with respect & care than being treated the way i was treated today! They accused me of shaving when the last time i had a Brazilian was at their spa and they didnt wax it well some the hair was still coarse, and they kept waxing me without any care for the fact they were hurting my private parts! Jazmine was so amazing with the level of care when threading my mom and my eyebrows. She really takes her time to do your eyebrows, unlike some people who do it so fast without any concern to your skin. I have sensitive skin, but she took her time with me and shaped it so well. I got a Brazilian blowout done from Jasmine. It was a amazing job. They had a special this month for $125. Its 300 else where. She was very very sweet and made sure I was 100% satisfied. I went here because I seen they had a promo on Groupon.. I seen all the reviews and they were all good. So I decided to take my sister for her first Brazilian wax ever. The lady had us wait about an hr, then she was going to let a lady go before us knowing we were there first. Once she took me back, she didn’t even say anything. I pretty much did everything. (Good thing, because if I was a newbie I would be confused). She then started waxing me, after she would pull the strip she wouldn’t even apply pressure.. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I still paid my 20$, but there was no way I was going to let my sister have her first wax done there. I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. Super unsanitary as well. You get what you pay for, i would much rather pay 60$.. but not feel pain whatsoever.

No wait, I was able to get my brows threaded then waxed all within 30 minutes if that! My sister bought a groupon for two Brazilian wax for both of us but you can only use it for one person. It was a bit annoying cause we both don’t live in town and was leaving in a few days. Other than the unclarity, they had great service and I had a good experience. They use chocolate wax which was my first time trying and it was pleasant. Despite the confusion with the groupon she still gave me the same deal and was nice.Update: after leaving I had a busy day and my armpits were burning and when I finally got home to look and it was so red and so sensitive. It hurt really bad!!! They’ve missed quite a few spots...I guess hard wax is more efficientUpdate: they do not do a thorough job here. I was ichy the next day and so patchy! I get that it’s cheap but I’d rather pay more to get the job done painlessly.Again my sister paid for a groupon for both me and her to try it out. Couldn’t use it on the same day but we both don’t live in state so we get it to my other sister and they wouldn’t let her use it. DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON! I found queens on Groupon. I went in for a Brazilian wax. At first I had a very young woman and she didn’t speak much. She was very rough with me and did not apply pressure after pulling the strip. She kept telling me to stop tensing up and didn’t seem to care about my comfort. I soon stopped her because of how painful the wax was and how rough she was being. I felt like she had no idea what she was doing. It was a tad bit traumatizing. She soon had jasmine the owner come in to help. Jasmine was very nice and calmed me down. This was the most difficult wax iv had yet! I was very red in certain areas when I got home as well. There was a spot that was missed and my boyfriend pointed it out the next day. I would have rated this place a 1 but because Jasmine the owner finished my wax and was very kind in the process I gave it a 3. I also had not groomed down there in a while so I understand it was going to hurt but the first woman was not kind to my kitty at all. Do not know if I’ll be returning, and if I do I will only see Jasmine.

I would give it ZERO stars if i could. Everyone was very unprofessional, one lady kept on talking on her phone and did not knowledge me until i kept staring at her i even greeted her when i walked in. This was my first time going to queens beauty and salon and i was excited to go because of the reviews but they did not prove to be as amazing as the reviews said. The lady that was doing my facial was very rude and kept walking off to talk to her co workers in their language. Now i normally wouldnt care if you talk your native language but at least finish your job before walking away. After the facial was done i went home and noticed my skin being very red and bumpy like if there was a rash. I calledbut no one picked up or when they did they would hang up. I was very dissapointed and i would never come back to this salon.

Not at all pleased with keratin results even after paying a good amount of money and time..not effect in straight hair and just 10% smoothening effect..on review visit not even entertained for any help to improve

I have been coming to Ruma for years! I have done both my eyebrows and waxing with her. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I always leave happy.

By recommendation I visted for the first time yesterday and first off just WOW, Jasmine and Rozy both did an excellent job to begin with, the environment was very professional. They used all natural products for facial, and the chocolate wax they used made me feel no pain for the Brazilian and my eyebrows look so perfect now too. They educate you about the service they do , products they use and it’s benefit before the service which is always wonderful to know what sorts of procedures and/or subtances being used on ones body especially on highly sensitive parts and again they’re highly professional. So of course I would recommend the place to everyone . The best place in this city by far. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
