When I first walked in, it was a beautiful building. If you want to a clean, aesthetic, comfortable environment, this is for you. The doctors and the receptionist were so lovely to talk to. The doctors will give you so much details about their work and even show you. I have never had my ears clean with water, but it literally feels like a spa or even a massage for my ear. They will show you how clean your ear is and the price is worth it. If you are looking to clean your ears or go to an ear doctor in general, I recommend this place.

Dr. Wiggins is very professional. She is also quite knowledgeable as well. When It was time to upgrade form my outdated hearing aids Dr. Wiggins had several model recommendations for me based on the features and performance I required and helped me make an informed decision on which of them would be best suited for me. My fitting went super smoothly, she answered all the questions I had, and took the time to explain the different features and modes that she had programmed in to the new aids, as well as how and when to switch between them for optimal performance. I left feeling satisfied that I had made the right choice and know you will too.

Hear, hear to clean ears! From the moment I arrived, I knew that this was going to be a great experience. The ladies at the front desk are welcoming, and the clinic looks like a chic spa. Dr. Elly is amazing! You can tell that she is passionate about her work and about the latest technology for her patients.I was there for the Earigator to remove wax build up. The process itself is easy and comfortable. It was explained to me that if I didnt have much build-up, Id have a hearing examination done instead. Either way, it was a benefit for me. I ended having a lot of wax removed (ewww), but I can hear so much better now! Go treat yourself to an ear spa! All your friends who tell you that youre a loud talker will thank you for it!

I thought something bad was going on with my left ear. I go in expecting the worse but it was only wax y’all. It was all the way deep inside my ear. I thought I was doing a good job of cleaning my ears, boy was I wrong. They get in there and swish all the wax out with no problem. I felt so much better and could hear right after. I found Dr. Elly through TikTok. I was only going to be in Houston for a week and I called last minute and her office was able to squeeze me in. I was so excited and thankful that they could. I made an appointment for an ear cleaning, but I wasnt able to do it since I didnt have wax LOL which is a good thing. I still got my hearing checked and Im so glad I did because its never too early. Dr. Elly was extremely informative and explained my results and what to do to take preventative measures. We dont realize how everything can affect our hearing and I have had a tendency to blast my headphones more often than I should. Going forward I will most definitely be getting custom plugs to take to loud concerts or lounges/clubs when the pandemic allows those things to be normal again.Thanks again!

Prior to going to Memorial Hearing, I first tried a random audiologist I found on Google Maps that had some solid reviews. From the very first time I met them, I just felt generally uneasy about the experience overall, becauae it was quite unlike the experience I had at the UAMS Audiology Clinic in Arkansas a year or so prior. They especially seemed flustered when I couldnt come up with a fast enough decision on whether or not to purchase a $7,000.00 pair of hearing aids. So I decided to go with my gut and part ways with them, but I swore that the next time I saw an audiologist, I would make sure to thoroughly research the topic so I would have a better understanding of hearing aids and also to learn how to critique the level of patient care I was being given.I think most would agree that its a pretty positive sign when you call an office to schedule an appointment two minutes before they close and the audiologist who was apparently standing right behind the receptionist gets so excited to talk to you that they insist on at teast introducing themselves before they let you go. The first time I met Dr. Elly, any doubts left lingering about my previous clinicians competency completely melted away. She stood calm and completely confident in her ability to work together with her patients to achieve realistic goala in regards to their hearing loss. After a very long, seemingly thorough battery of tests, she dicussed my hearing loss in easy to understand terms. She even went so far as to test my cognitive abilities with a new type of device that she noted research had recently indicated a relationship between cognitive decline and hearing loss. I found out later that only a few audiologists nationwide had adopted this new technology yet, further presenting herself as on the bleeding edge of audiology technology.It was painfully obvious that she had little desire to be a medicore practitioner and was instead focused on being the goldstandard for a clinician irregardless of speciality: a clinician who is always setting the bar for their standard of patient care a notch higher than their collegues, who spends as much time with each of their patients as they need (my first appointment Dr. Elly booked me for two hours! And believe it or not, it lasted more like four!), someone who maintains a professional image at all times, and finally, was simply the type of person who would not let a patient leave their clinic without both of them feeling completely satisfied and happy about the whole process from start to finish.Trust me on this: if you want the smoothest and most seamless experience one could possibly have as far as getting tested for and buying hearing aids, just give Dr. Elly and her team at Memorial Hearing a call ASAP. These types of clinicians are few and far between, the ones that are truly passionate about helping their patients and making the whole experience a positive one.Still not convinced? Well, I live in San Antonio and her clinic is in Houston... So I have to drive about three hours one way for an appointment. And even when you factor in the cost of gas and the loss of time, Dr. Elly and her team at Memorial Hearing are DEFINITELY worth it.

Doctor Elly is these best there is she took the time to accommodate our hectic schedule. She then spent quite some time making sure we understood the process, how the hearing aids worked and even tested my wife’s hearing for us. Once I receive the hearing aid she was very thorough in explain how they worked and what I could expect and not expect from the unit. I had questions after I left and her response time was amazing even with her busy scheduled. As far as I am concerned I will never use another audiologist as Doctor Elly is the best there is.

Elly takes incredible pride in offering her clients exceptional customer care. Just had the most wonderful experience getting fitted with a new hearing aid solution by Dr Elly Pourasef. Wanted to shout it from the housetops.I was diagnosed with nerve damage in my left ear many years ago. Back then the behind the ear hearing aid technology produced a bulky looking module I didn’t care to wear. So I opted for the fully in-the-ear version. Another Audiologist affiliated with the ENT that had diagnosed the nerve damage in my left ear fitted me with the in-the-ear version I requested for my right ear.My insurance provider lead me to seek help from Dr Elly for a hearing aid upgrade. She spent nearly an hour and a half explaining the advancements of the latest technology in hearing aids. Pointed out the behind the ear versions had evolved to a near invisible design. Plus they could offer a matching receiver version to ear on my left ear that would capture sound on that side and transfer it to the hearing aid in my right ear. I signed up for that type of system immediately.I can’t fully express how grateful I am to Dr Elly for her unselfish approach to making sure I understood what options were available to me.
