If youre looking for a beautiful environment for your relative which is safe, clean and supportive to your loved ones needs then look no further than The Shores at Clear Lake! My relative loves it here; nothing is too much trouble for the kind, caring staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and very pleasant and they have a wide variety of activities everyone can enjoy! She particularly loved the recent Elvis singalong and is hoping for a Johnny Cash singalong in the not too distant future so if any of the Shores staff are reading this, take note yall!

The Shores is a beautiful, new Assisted Living and Memory Care in a quiet location just around the corner from NASA. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and they provide a wide variety of activities such as arts and crafts, sit and be fit, singalongs and movie nights. It is a wonderful place for Seniors to feel safe and well cared for while enjoying three meals a day and lots of opportunities to make friends and socialize. The management and staff truly care about making a difference in people’s lives!!

If you care about a loved one , don’t even entertain the thought of leaving them here. Unless they are COMPLETELY capable of caring for themselves. I wouldn’t feed the food to my dog. They are always short staffed and unfortunately the good staff can be counted on 1 hand .The facility is pretty to look at don’t be fooled by the lipstick!

Marketing did really well, she made it look like it was a good place. This place is always short staff and management is not doing anything. There alert system is useless. Please dont make the same mistake we did before its too late

This place is horrible, and what they served the patients here is cold food. Sick, and if they ask for a glass of water they have nerve to look crazy as if they dont feel like serving. Just sad to know this people is paying alot of money to be treated like this.

This place is horrible, dont be fooled by the facade staff are mean to her food is terrible, and very unorganized very unhealthy environment for residents because of very unfriendly staff My grandma is not well taken care off. We have to hire private caregivers to make sure he gets the care he deserves. They have this wristbands for buzzing the staff but i guess they dont work. We are pulling her out.

Don’t let the eye candy convince you this is a great place for your loved ones. There is no solid, dependable leadership. The facility is understaffed, all food is of poor nutritional quality, and there was no follow up by the staff on complaints that went unaddressed. In fact, in the first year in operation (2019) residents formed a council on their own and brought in the state Ombudsman to witness and investigate many issues. The ombudsman requested a meeting with the director, who never showed up. Residents a provided a nice little wristband to push 24/7 for assistance. Well, most always my friend waited for hours - just to get an attendant to help with shower or get to bathroom. The management made many hollow promises that were never kept. We ended up hiring private care on top of the very expensive, unexplained fees they charged.

Beautiful community that offers large apartments, great food and sweet staff!

I sit here as a caregiver but would love a chance to work her. Its a very clean and nice place,I love the environment and the staff! Its a great place for family and a relax atmosphere!

I have visited a LOT of assisted living places in and around Clear Lake (including LC, Texas City, etc.). This is hands down has the most professional staff and clean/safe environment for my folks to move into. It has just opened and Im looking forward for my folks to enjoy this assisted environment.

This place exceeds expectations the way staff care for residents is amazing my father repeatedly said it was his hone from home and after my mom died I never thought he would be happy but this place made his journey to my mom incredible god bless y’all
