My mother absolutely loves living at the Village of Meyerland. Since she moved in a year ago, I have noticed a vast improvement in her quality of life—she has made new friends within the community and never misses an opportunity to attend the lectures, celebrations, and other social activities planned by the staff. I appreciate knowing that my mother is in a safe, supportive, and caring environment, especially during this pandemic. The leadership and staff work tirelessly and effectively to keep the residents healthy and safe, and I have been incredibly impressed by what they have accomplished and how frequently and comprehensively they communicate with the residents’ loved ones. I highly recommend and am very grateful for the Village of Meyerland.

I have been in Assisted Living at VOM for almost 2 years and feel very fortunate that I can be here. My fellow residents are interesting, well-educated, and well-traveled, and I enjoy getting to know them. I have found the staff to be helpful and well-trained. Activities are well-designed and keep us busy. It is also helpful that the staff keeps our families informed about important issues.

We couldnt be happier with the care mom has been given here! The director has the BEST communication with families, the staff are all ROCK STARS, they are compassionate, considerate and loving and we couldnt be more thrilled! ESPECIALLY in this time of COVID, they made us feel so incredibly comfortable that they were putting our loved ones lives first! They keep mom engaged and active, constantly having fun, educational, interesting and entertaining activities! Couldnt recommend more highy!

My father has been there for nearly two months. He has been pleased with the work efforts and daily work of the staff.

This facility offers a great staff. My mother has been here since Mayof 2019 and has thrived. We are thrilled to have her close to us and see herdoing so well.

My mom loves the VOM. Shes been here since Hurricanet Harvey and its definitely become home. She has great friends and enjoys the activities and community. And, she loves being able to have her dogs in her apartment.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. None of the other reviews seem legitimate in any form (I mean, really, would you write a review like that?), so let me run this down for you:Lets just refer to them as Ms. C. and Ms. S - both are completely inattentive, and just stay in their offices for the majority of the day. Emails go unanswered and they dont take care for their staff. Have a parent here? Awesome! Theyll make them feel super welcome - at least until you leave. Unsuspecting employees, including above staff, can be caught badmouthing residents if youre just nonchalantly lurking around. But then again, the lower-level staff is really what seem to make the place run, and poor them... the good ones so far have left.Moving out the resident at the earliest residence, and I advise you do the same.Better yet, dont bother moving in here.

This place has very nice staff that makes sure elderly people are happy and are well taken care of.

My good friend Marci referred me here for my mother and I worked with Luis. Luis was very polite and flexible with his schedule and took the time to meet with me on a Sunday while most other facilities would not. Unfortunately my mother passed away but The Village of Meyerland was our first choice; I highly recommend this facility as it is more modern, upscale, and has a lot of activities going on all the time for their residents.

I have the pleasure of meeting Marci Walters with The Village of Meyerland a little over 2 years ago. She has been a fixture in the local business community, promoting The Village of Meyerland. To promote VOM, Marci has volunteered her time with the Bellaire Business Association. Thank you Marci, you went above and beyond..My Mother in Law spent 3 years at VOM,so I knew about the facility and its good reputation. This beautiful senior facility was the only one in area to withstand Hurricane Andrew. Brazos on South Braeswood had no power for weeks, generators flooded & many residents evacuated. Great forsight for flood proof building. Rooms are very nice, staff loving and well qualified. Building is gorgeous and ourside garden area is perfect for residents to keep in touch with nature or take a quiet moment. Tons of activities and their own bus. Worth every penny.

The memory floor was dirty and unorganized and the salesperson, Marci, was rude and had an attitude. Would never recommend them, if thats what higher up staff is like, what are the people helping my Mom going to be like??

The Worst Place To have a family member, maintenance don’t know what their doing, All the good friendly workers have left or been fired, it’s a lot of unnecessary drama there as I seen visiting this facility multiply times, doesn’t seem like the company cares about the employees and that’s make the employees not care about the residents
