I went in for an exam about a month ago. they do not tell you that everything is virtual until you get there. I did the exam. I could barely hear what the doctor was saying on the screen. I was told to do the exam with my glasses on. a few weeks later I got a call only one pair of my glasses was in. I picked those up. I have been wearing them since. I have bad headaches and I can see better with my older glasses than the ones. i still have not gotten my second pair of glasses and its been about a month. Im now going to have to pay for a new exam at a different place. i will not be returning to Americas best. The customer service is lacking. They are very rude when you call or go in. i already switched my husband and two daughters to a new eye doctor that is in person due to this.

I only gave one star because I had to in order to leave an honest review. My wife and I will be searching for a new service provider. We have been loyal customers roughly 13 years and are now realizing that common courtesy and good customer service are not the paramount of this company. I entered the store and conducted my transaction with fulfilling a contacts prescription ( which I tried to do online and was unsuccessful). Just after paying hundred of dollars for my contacts order and while my prescription was being printed, a woman come from the back of the building yelling and demand that I put on a mask while in store. I stated that I cannot wear on and she said well conduct your business outside. I said my prescription was printing and how is it possible to do an eye exam from outside. Her reply was, well I’m sorry for ya. I don’t know what to tell you. Put a mask on or get out (direct violation of HIPPA). Calling customer service was a joke. No one returned my call and the person who answered the phone said well that’s our policy. So we are done with get treated like dogs and will be taking our business elsewhere.

Couldn’t have had a better experience honestly. Every employee was genuinely nice and despite there being a good deal of customers, I felt it went quickly and easy.

Never have I had to deal with a place of business that didnt care about their customers as this place. My son took off of work and drove an hour for his appointment. He was a few minutes late and they refused to take him. I called them and the person was very rude and could care less about what I was saying. She was sarcastic and very unprofessional. We will NEVER do business with Americas Best in Houma ever again and I will never refer anyone to them!

Horrible service.. Paid $200 for glasses they came in and they just gave them to me, didnt fit them, handed them to me in a foam sleeve... And the prices are not what they say....

The doctor was great, a bunch of frames to choose from and I got my new glasses in one week. This was my third time getting glasses from americas best.

Caught a very good salesperson named Nikki. She was very courteous and told me the prices up front and there was no sugarcoating. Very professional and very nice. She explained what I was getting and and explained everything in detail. Very awesome person to deal with and I recommend her to everyone!!!!

Horrible, I went to the houma location on Saturday August 1, 2020 and i had the worst experience with celeste. She was rude because i asked for something to ensure that the eye machine i would be using was cleaned. I didnt ask her to clean it. I asked for a paper towel to do it myself. She looked at me and said i already cleaned it. I said ok but i want to clean it for myself. She went back and forth with me. I left and refused my eye exam.

Had an appt for eye exam and glasses. They all was professional and really helpful with discussing things with me and if I had any questions. During my walk picking out glasses the associate was very helpful. She went above and beyond to help me find the frames I was looking for. I was in and out in an hour and a half. Thats good for the things I had to do there today. So they deserve a 5 star from me. I had no complaints. The prices are great compared to others.

Good deals but you have to watch out for the pricing it is not as easy as it appears to be. I wind up paying $35 more PER LENSE if you have bifocals . I think it would be nice if the representatives would explain more if you start falling out of the price packages advertisement

Prices are reasonable and the doctor (I think his name is Mason) is great but some of the staff has a terrible attitude (they should be working in the back room away from customers). Plus I was told they would call me when my glasses were ready but after waiting 2 weeks I called and they said my glasses had been there for a while. Clearly more training and supervision is needed, maybe the manager needs more of both too.

The personal information and customer service at this business, is the best i have been exposed to in a while. This Customer service team needs to be awarded for their had work and positive attitude. They need to receive an award . They need make this team a model for others to follow. The product knowlege and the quality of the prodocts sold here is great .Having said this i would recommend business to everyone!!!!!

If the service in person is anything like the phone service I received from the appointment desk, I will turn around and walk out. Celeste in Houma, Louisiana, might as well have been a robot, but even robots have a hint of friendliness in their voices. Celeste sounded like she was being inconvenienced and had no time to answer my questions. I know what its like because I answer phones at work too, and if I spoke to anyone in the tone Celeste used with me, I would be reported to management.

I was pleasently surprised with how great the service was at my exam/purchase yesterday. Tiffany is an absolute sweetheart and was so easy to work with. Dr. Authement was thorough and made me feel very comfortable. Summerlyn was helpful during my eyeglass selection and made sure my insurance covered all it could. I will definitely be returning in the future due to these three!

The customer service over the phone was absolutely horrible. Both the women I spoke to acted like I was an inconvenience to them. I ordered contacts over the phone. I was told my contacts were in stock. So I paid for them and was told I can pick them up tomorrow. Then I get a phone call about two minutes later telling me that they do not have my contacts in stock and that they had to refund my money. Then charge my card again if they had to order them. I felt like I was being lied to because the first girl I spoke to was so rude and then this happens. I just felt like I was a total inconvenience to them because of what was going on when it was their mistake that they made.

Terrible customer service, all they worry about is getting the most money out of you. Wait times are always forever even though you’re the only person in there. Receptionists are unprofessional and unknowledgeable.
