We were extremely lucky to find Grace Homes. My mother spent the last 6 years of her life there. They provide the highest quality of care and that continued even under new ownership. I never had any complaints and they handled her passing in a kind and caring manner. I wish every senior home was like Grace Homes.

This place is a home and I feel like it is my dads home. The staff is kind and compassionate. The staff to resident ratio is excellent and stable so they all know my dad, the good and the bad. The home is run professionally but, more importantly, compassionately. They treat the residents how they would want their family members treated. I dont worry about my dads care which eases my stress and his. I highly recommend Grace Homes.

Grace Homes is a superb nursing home, care facility! To call it a facility doesnt do it justice, it is literally just a new home for my mom. I am a vendor to Grace Homes. Each time I visit the home, I see residents engaged in a variety of activities ... everything from listening to music, watching TV, playing games, exercising, gardening, cooking and a host of other activities. I am so impressed. The home has a lot of natural light and plants. It is easy to navigate. It has a very upbeat feeling about it. Your loved ones will be well taken care of. I have told Bethany that I want her to be my care provider when the time comes.

I was blessed to find Grace Homes for my elderly grandfather after losing my grandma unexpectedly. I could not have found a better place! The staff loves my grandpa almost as much as I do and they take excellent care of him! His dementia was too progressed for him to live alone and I know my grandma would approve...if he cant be with family, this is the next best place to be!In the beginning I would get anxious about visiting and sad when I left because all he wanted to do was go home. Now I leave with a smile after every visit (and no anxiety before I get there) because I know how well he is cared for and I know I dont have to worry about him!! His dementia has gotten worse but he still knows who I am and can communicate to some degree. I enjoy my visits, not only with grandpa but with the staff and other residents as well. I have gained an honorary grandpa in the process (although he has dementia too and forgot, but its still sweet that he asked if he could be my grandpa too)!!I can only say wonderful things about Grace Homes and I highly recommend them!! Thank you to everyone there for taking such wonderful care of one of the most important people in my life!!

My mother has been a resident at Grace Homes since December of 2009. She was struggling after suffering a stroke and has been bed ridden ever since. The past six years have brought dramatic changes to her lifestyle, but with the supervised care she has received at Grace Homes, her condition greatly improved. Being 93 years of age, she is still able to enjoy activities at the residence, maintain a healthy diet, receive 24 hour staff support, all in a home like atmosphere. In general, our family is very thankful and fortunate for securing Grace Homes for my mothers well-being.

I have worked in the health care field for 25+ years, the majority of the time in the geriatric field. I had the fortune of touring Grace Homes through one of my previous jobs. I immediately fell in love with not only the concept of a residential care home, but Grace Homes itself. I decided if ever needed.....this home would be at the top of my list. Unfortunately, the time came when my dad required 24/7 care and Grace, RN/Owner, was the first person I called. My dad has lived in his new home since January and although I wish things were different, this is the best place for him. The commitment, care and love my dad receives from the staff on a daily basis is amazing!!I highly recommend Grace Homes!

I bring my therapy dogs and rabbits in to visit the residents who are fortunate to live at Grace Homes. I am so impressed by the compassion demonstrated by the staff towards the residents.Clearly this compassion is a trickle-down effect from the management towards the staff which I believe is key to succeeding in a home such as this. The residents know they are loved and the staff clearly have a strong support system! What a lovely home!

My name is John and I have been in the Senior Care business for 17 years.I am a Certified Massage Therapist who specializes in Geriatric massage.Grace Home is a caring, dignified, residential home where the emphasis is onCare. Grace and Chuck are first rate owners who are hands on when it comes to running their home(s). I have known and worked with Grace for 8 years and you could not find a more kind hearted person. She and Chuck are both hard workers and problem solvers when it comes to their Residential home families. And did I mention they have some of the top notch caregivers and workers in the industry. If you are looking for a homey place for your loved one, I would strongly considerGrace Homes.

The residents of Grace Homes always look clean and well cared for. The activity director Sherry takes the residents outside frequently I see them out on the deck exercising, planting vegetables, and singing. There are always animals around including a dog, cat and two birds which the residents seem to love. To me this place feels more like the home I grew up in vs. an institution. If I ever need 24 hour care I pray my kids send me here or someplace like it

I work in geriatric research and I was extremely selective in my search for an assisted living when my mother had her stroke. Grace Homes has everything we were looking for, the residential space is bright and clean, the owners and staff are very attentive to Moms needs, and I am very impressed with the quality of the staff that are carefully selected to work at Grace Homes. It is reassuring when caregivers genuinely care about the residents, I highly recommend Grace Homes.

My mother moved into the Wilshire Walk home about a year ago when she got out of the hospital and couldnt go back to her apartment. I had her make the move with a lot of trepidation. The first few weeks were a challenge until my mother felt at home and until I was confident that she was in good hands. After that, things have been peaceful and stable.First of all, I have to say that living in a real house and not in an institution is a huge benefit. The Wilshire house has a reasonable amount of hustle and bustle which also makes it feel real. And the house itself is really attractive. As a result, the residents feel at home and not institutionalized.Secondly, the staff is consistently attentive and considerate. The owner (Grace) has done a good job of finding staff who fit the objectives. No place is perfect, but they work hard at getting better and listening to feedback.Thirdly, I personally feel good about having my now 94 year old mom living at Grace Homes. She is happier than when she lived in her apartment where she was kind of isolated. She has the choice of spending time in the living room or dining room with the other residents or the staff or she can spend quiet time in her very private bedroom. In general, the concept of a residential home is a very good idea and Grace Homes has done a fine job of bringing this concept to life.

As a care provider who comes into Grace Homes, I am impressed with the consistency of caregivers. There is a solid core group of staff that is attentive to the needs of the residents. They are genuinely interested in incorporating suggestions that will maximize their client’s mobility and safety. Caring and compassion is demonstrated from the owner Bethany, and is fostered by everyone providing assistance to the residents. The home is very accessible, clean, and spacious, with a one-level layout that is easily navigated with wheelchairs and assistive devices.Carolyn Blake, PT, GCS
