Prices can’t be beat. Product is pretty good. Pharmacy is easy to work with. Time efficient. With meats, you need to check the expiration dates, but it’s good the majority of the time.I’m a huge fan of the Nature Valley Peanut Butter & Chocolate Granola Cups & Almond Butter Granola Cups! You can find these at other local places! These are an excellent mid morning snack!

Its a Walmart Grocery, nothing much to say about it. The young lady I asked assistance from was nice and very helpful. Ill be going there for some of my groceries household needs.

Its little Mexico in that area also good luck getting any help if you need it.

An employee cut my elderly mother off in the parking lot and parked in the last available handicap spot. I ended up having to leave my house to help her walk from the back of the parking lot to the store. All of the employees are unbelievably rude and unhelpful on a regular basis. As someone who worked in retail for almost 20 years, I understand that a store that busy is bound to have stressful days and a few deficits in customer service. But some of the things Ive witnessed over the past few years have been unbelievable. Weve been visiting this store since it first opened, but its gotten so bad lately that I think our family will be switching to the nearby Publix.

Clean and very nice dont go to neighborhood markets like that though would rather be in the supermarket

I love that this place is right around the corner. I’ve been going for a long time, but yesterday I bought over $300 worth of groceries and my card kept declining due to bank issues. So I had to step to the side and wait for my husband to bring his card up there and help me out. I was so embarrassed and had tears, but the cashiers were SUPER friendly and were polite and calming me down (I really was embarrassed and mad at myself for not realizing the card was locked-simple fix). But that poor cashier had to rescan all of my groceries and smiled the whole time and told me how often that happened. I am thankful for each employee that was helpful to me yesterday and then laughed with me when I realized how much of an easy fix my card issue was.

Well lite store. Friendly feeling when you walk in. Cashiers speak. Great selection of vegetables, dry goods, and a mixed variety of off brand a name brand goods. I went to the Pharmacy. The visit was really pleasant, easily and not complicated. Took me 30 minutes. In and out. The Pharmacy Tech and Pharmacist were both warm and friendly. Made you feel at ease. Was really concerned. Open to questions too. Will be back!

I went after sundown and didnt know they did not have any cashiers. You have to check yourself out. I dont like that because I feel like I as taking someones job. Even with all the self checkout stations..the line was big-time backed up. The stockers were busy but if you need help they stopped to help you 💜 The store was clean.I gave it a 3 because there was no cashiers to check you out. I dont like feeling I am taking someone elses job.

I tried using a digital gift card and when I asked for help,a very rude employee (possibly a manager)was very dismissive and told me that I couldn’t use it and then walked away. I took it to another cashier and she was great and had no problem using the card. As lease one of the employees actually wanted to help.

I’m furious with this place. The employees are flat out RUDE !!! I’ll go to Publix and pay more before I ever go back in that place !

The person at the very front told two guests that they didnt need masks. There are also too many people walking around without masks on. I need Walmart to step up and do something to keep us all safe

Friendly place. The employees were eager to help find items I could not find. And they also help me with a checkout when I double weighed the grapes.

Its only ok. Everything is self check out, you can bring your own bags. The workers there are just...ok too.

Prefer going here over a regular Walmart. It always looks like its packed, but generally isnt when you walk in. Normally has most of what Im looking for with a little extra. Very accessible even during high traffic volume.

Sometimes you cant find anything, but some days their very stocked some workers dont like to help when they have pallets and stuff being put up and u dont want to get hurt or in the way!!

I shop at this store at least twice a week, and lately [at least for the last two months], the already cramped aisles have been jammed with restocking activity going on during the busy times. I know things arent as coordinated as they would normally be due to the pandemic, but you would think store management would see how this makes navigating the aisles a challenge when youre pushing a shopping cart. The employees are nice about it and will make way when they can, but theyre also using those large carts piled with supplies that cant be moved out of the way as easily.

I had sinus issues and needed a humidifier and the nice lady just happened to have one on the pallet that she was unpacking and she moved so much stuff just to get it for me. They had really really deep cleansing hand soap which Ive not been able to find and it was $2.97 and so I got one for every bathroom and my kitchen. It doesnt dry your hands out and I dont remember the name but for the price its cheaper than regular soft soap antibacterial. The girl at the checkout was a sweetheart she could sympathize with my stuffed up nose in the middle of the night and she didnt realize that she could use one of the humidifiers to help her at night and so she said she was going to go get her one too. She was very gentle with the groceries that I did buy and was very friendly and it was my first visit to this store and I will definitely be going back because I am so close and Ive not been here too long on this side of town and did not know that there was a neighborhood market a quarter mile from my apartment. Im disabled so I do not get out much. They had buggies up so I didnt have to worry about them hitting my car. I was able to find a handicap spot and didnt have to go further down. Everything was marked for the social distancing. It was a pleasure and thats a lot because I am not a Walmart fan when it comes to being in the store I pay for delivery and Im just pleased with it all.

Shelves are kinda bare but its nice and quick for the basics (eggs, bread, and milk).

A good place to get what you need for the most part. Good selection of foods, health items, and other necessities. If you need very specific items or brands you may want to go to another store before stopping at this one.

This location is not as busy, but lacks a lot of grocery items. Especially from the cold food section.

The best grocery store in my be area. Produce is always fresh and brightly colored. Lines are always quick and easily to move thru. Parking is not a nightmare. Staff is helpful and friendly

Clean , found everything , nice .

Customer service is almost always closed for weeks at a time. You can 99% of the time never get anyone to answer the phone. At night the shopping carts are left outside in the parking area so if you want one you have to go back outside and get one out of the return area. Some workers at customer service the few times its open get attitudes when you ask for items thats only located at customer service. This is just a few issues ongoing with this location and some of its workers. Dont get me wrong not all of them are bad they are some excellent workers at this location as well its just the bad ones outweigh the good ones.

The rotisserie chicken is usually pretty good, but lately its over cooked and put on the warmers by 10 A.M. and not fit to eat by dinner time. No wonder its not selling. Ive had to throw the last 2 out. Even the dog wouldnt eat them.

Hate it. The regular employees are good... That being said... Every person ive seen in anytype of management position walks around with their nose in the air... Ive ask two different ones what isle something was on... One just pointed to a stocker... And the other just flat out ignored me.... And i asked twice... The second time she did an about face and went the other way... And i heard her tell the person on the phone-ear piece that she aint got time for that.

Purchased a small amount of grocery. The grapes are fresh and I liked the price of Natures Own bread for $2.50. Pleasant environment with an easy self checkout. All machines were working.

This store is a shabby store. There arent that many cashiers that can help and theyre very nonchalant. Its hardly ever stocked with everyday items.

Every visit has been met with more and more bad attitude staff and unhelpful employees. If youre not headed out the door at 830 they will come find u 5-10 mins before close and tell you you have to leave.Theres never any bags, nothing is in its right place, produce is rotting and managers are RUDE and snarky to anyone not leaving exactly as they close (literally saw a store associate arguing & yelling with someone who wasnt checking out fast enough). I spent over $200 weekly, have to bag my own groceries as theres rarely a lane with a human open. This was the final straw on my spending any money at this location.None of the staff is wearing their masks correctly including management, so many issues here that need to be fixed.

Walmart.is Walmart even out of town

This Wal-Mart insists that people with breathing problems be masked. Dont give them your business. Go somewhere else.

Easy in and out grocery shopping. Most of the staff is helpful. There have been a few that are not only impatient rude and unhelpful they make me feel like I did something wrong just by shopping there.

This Walmart neighborhood market is nice to have in Hoover since we didnt have one previously, but nothing really stands out about it. All in all its a clean, well staffed & well located Walmart neighborhood market.

Their deli section has surprisingly good baby back ribs! They also have better than average rotisserie chicken and pork loin, hot. The selection in there grocery store is about average and their pricing is about average. But their produce does seem to be fresher than most.

The associates will walk right by you and as if you are in their way. Never greet nor acknowledge you and please dont ask a question you have ruined their day. And please get some cashiers. I do not work for Wal-Mart and self checkout should not be my only option. I like human on human experience. Ill keep shopping elsewhere.

The store is always clean. Every employee that I have dealt with has been very kind and professional. Due to the small size, it is easy to run in and get what you need. There are very few checkouts serviced by a cashier. If you use the self checkouts, you will be out in a breeze. Don’t let the full parking lot fool you into thinking you will be met by long checkout lines. Most shoppers are just grabbing a few items.

Havent been to this particular shopping center very often , but the store has always been very clean and people there very friendly !

Always clean and not very crazy busy. I love that its local and small. The staff has always been friendly and ready to help with whatever you.

Its well stocked, so well in fact, all the employees seem to be constantly engaged in stocking the shelves with carts in the isles.

Generally we have a good experience there. We have used every service offered there. Online Pick up is convenient since we live so near. They stock a large variety of items for a neighborhood store. We shop there a lot!

The cashiers hardly ever acknowledge the customer is there and I have never one time been told thank you or have a nice day. This mornings stop will be my last one on Lorna Rd. The manager of this store must not pay good attention to how the cashiers and CSMs interact with the customers. I challenge the upper management to teach and coach people skills...

Its a neighborhood Walmart. The nice thing is you can ship items to this store instead of a supermarket location. Otherwise, no difference from any other Walmart.

I absolutely hate going in this store. Lazy ,rude staff sitting on a stool working register. Only other cashier wouldnt pick up anything ask me to do it ie... box of cat liter, So slow. Another employee and I both came to the isle at same time as I was trying to get in line she was taking stock from register and she wouldnt let me pass. I had to go all the way out and back in. Worst customer service ever, I quit coming in this store and made the mistake of running In. The other in Vestavia is so much better and it is where i will shop. To many complaints to list need better management.

Im giving it a star!! Shouldnt even get a star!! I was in there and NOT ONE OPEN REGULAR CASH REGISTER!! ALL Scan & Go were operating. Its after 8 in the morning you can run a regular cash register. I HATE Scan & Go!! To me, this shows laziness of your workers not running at least ONE regular cash register!!

A messy store. Tried to pay with a gift card at self checkout. Asked employee (well call her K) for help since it wasnt going through. K said someone else had to help us, so she suspended our order and took us to the back of the longest line and left us there to check out again. What? We dropped our stuff and went to the super Walmart and had the self checkout employee check is out with no issue.

Have you seen the low prices on their new men line of clothing. The George line is good for us heavier people. Also my wife enjoys the look and great prices of their NEW Terra & Sky line.

Easy to shop there. Employees are always pleasant and helpful.
