This place does not run on integrity. Check out the Better Business Beareau Reviews. The owners know the truth. They are running a scam on those who have money. Not customized. Very bad deal. When I started I had a health savings account and they set me up on a contract for over $2,000 and in spite of me telling them how much the products were making me feel sick they kept pushing them on me. After talking to some other people going there I realized the Shady deals were made pretty much the same regardless of the money and that means I was getting charged way more for way less. When my doctor said that products did not go with my thyroid they reduced my amount due but still left products on my account. After all was said and done they wanted me to pay the entire Bill even though Id only been there for 6 times and only lost a total of maybe 10 or 15 lb. I highly recommend you find a place where you know the people are going to do what they say because their diet plans are not customized in fact most of them can be found free online period big scam.

At the Hoover, AL location, I enjoy the positivity, patience and atmosphere of the place. Krista and the employees there knows who you are by name without even looking at your chart or sign in log. The meal plans are excellent and you would never think that you can still enjoy things you like and still be able to lose inches and pounds. I had lost 30 lbs with this program last year. Through a lot of stress and personal issues I lost track of myself. I tried starting different diets but nothing really worked for me. My husband and I both decided to go back to medical Weight loss and already seeing progress. The staff has been wonderful! SCAM!!! As the new year approaches I highly recommend going somewhere else to help with your weight loss goals. These people lie, manipulate, and will even mock you. I was talking to an employee about a serious issue and she was rude, disrespectful, and was quick to put me down all of which goes against the “patient bill of rights”. This is nothing but a scam to steal your money. They will not honor the money back guarantee. They had me taking 18, yes 18 pills a day, drinking fiber and protein drinks, following a diet for 30 days and lost nothing! Please consider going somewhere else. I don’t know how this place is still in business!!

I began my weight loss journey in October, 2014. I have lost 38 lbs. so far....and feel great. I have more energy and am able to get down of the floor and play with my favorite quads who are now two and get back up on my own. The transition has been amazing. I have also been able to come off my blood pressure medicine and no longer suffer from sleep apnea. I am feeling better, I have dropped two sizes and am hoping to drop at least one more before completing my goal. I have always been an emotional eater and have had a slight set back this week as my Dad has been diagnosed with Cancer. But the counselors have been so supportive and are helping me get back on track. People keep telling me how good I look. I joined Medical Weight Loss in November of 2013 after reaching my highest weight of 190 lbs on my 5 ft frame. I was embarrassed as I walked in the clinic my first day. My consultation was with Bridgett, the manager of the clinic. All my reservations went away with her wonderful energy and I knew I was in the right place. Within 2 months I was down 2 dress sizes and almost 20 lbs. Every visit I have been amazed with all the counselors, Kristy and Megan in particular have guided me through many weddings, birthdays, and holidays! Not only have they helped my physically, but they have helped heal me emotionally as well. On many occasions, I have come in to weigh to find the entire staff joined together in prayer. They have held my hand during a weighin session and prayed with me. It is more than refreshing to go into a medical office and feel the love of God as soon as you walk through the door. I have now lost 47 and I plan on keeping on until I reach my goal of 125! If youre ready for a change, all you have to do is take the first step. Theyll teach you the rest! God bless!

Company is more concerned with selling products instead of helping clients. Dont sign anything until you have had every question answered because they will not honor the refund policy. Corporate will find fault in clients actions and not give back one cent. You are not guaranteed to lose 2-5 lbs a week if you dont spend hundreds of dollars on supplements ($35+), shakes($16/box) and shots($40) on a weekly basis.

Have been going to MWLS since Nov. 2014. My experience has always been pleasurable. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I am always motivated and encouraged at each visit. I really enjoy the advice on meal planning and recipe ideas to attain my personal weight loss goals. The approach of a lifestyle change versus a traditional diet along with the support from MWLS is top and I would recommend this facility.

I recently discovered I had elevated liver enzymes (four times the normal limit), which had never been an issue before. When I visited a specialist, ever possible cause was ruled out. The only option left was the supplements the facility had me taking. They included CMax, Slender Core, Lipo Patch and Medi Cleanse. My doctor wrote a letter to Medical Weight Loss stating his instruction for me to discontinue supplements. My liver enzymes returned to normal once I discontinued program.A woman from the corporate office called a couple of weeks later stating my doctor was wrong because the products are natural and I would not be allowed out of the contract. In my opinion, this program is designed to take your money and Medical Weight Loss has no regard for the well being of its participants.I wouldn’t recommend this program!!

Before I begin this long-winded explanation, if money is not an issue for your weight loss goals this program is great so no need to keep reading haha. They are soo friendly, very helpful, kind, and seem to really care. I must say I was losing around 1 to 2 a week as guaranteed, this wasnt the problem. I paid the starting fee for the program, which was an insane amount. However, I felt horrible and had tried other things and wanted to make it stick. After the program was paid for, I thought, Great!, Im on my way. What they dont explain is that once you sign up youve already paid the program fee but you ALSO are going to have to spend $65 a week JUST on supplemental shakes. Then you also have to re-up your supplement medicine every month or couple of weeks, depending on what the medicine is. It was not explained to me that at a minimum I was going to be spending $305 or more every month. I sort of thought the exponential program fee was going to cover a lot of things. Well, around two months in, I just couldnt keep up with the $65 a week and asked if I could maybe try to cut back on them or use a certain brand I had found from a wellness store that had the same things in it but half the cost. I asked this because she had told me if I wasnt able to afford the shakes I wouldnt be able to continue to the program until I was able to buy them. They said this was because I needed the nutrition from the shakes. Now, I understand a company wanting to make money. However, I would think if your main focus as a company was weight loss and helping people they wouldnt kick someone off a program they had already paid for under the pretense of, Needing that nutrition, when there was a replacement I could afford and keep up my weight loss. After all this, I will give them a3 instead of nothing because I did lose weight until it was too much money, the staff is incredible and friendly, and I shouldve done a little more research and asked if there would be highly weekly costs. Im only writing this to warn people that unless you have a lot of extra money youre willing to spend every month until you lose the weight then dont sign up here. On the other hand, for those whom money isnt an issue I would give 5 stars and very much encourage you to sign up here.

I began the program on October 1, 2014. I averaged a 2 lbs weight loss every week. My goal was to lose 45 pounds. I reached my goal in8 months, and I looked fantastic. I first went to Medical Weight Loss by Healthogenics in Hoover in August, 2013 because all of my clothes were getting super tight and I knew I needed to do something! I refused to go up a pants size. I saw a Groupon for their program and thought I should check it out. After my consultation, I decided to pursue a full program and started the very next day. By January, 2014, I had lost 29.4 pounds...almost 10 pounds over my original goal!! This program is wonderful...I loved that the food was all food from the grocery store. There are recommended supplements that sometimes seemed a little overwhelming and expensive, but the money I was spending there was money I wasnt spending eating out at restaurants or hitting the vending machine! I am in the maintenance phase now and I am still under my goal weight. This is a program that I feel like I can live with! I cannot say enough about the staff...they are very friendly, supportive and eager to help you meet your goal! I could not have done this without them!! I would definitely recommend Medical Weight Loss by Healthogenics!

I LOVE MWL and the Staff! I have been to other types of Weightloss clinics in the past and never felt more than that I was another number waiting to get a shot or supplements. The staff at MWL are Completely different! From the first visit, Megan, Christy, Molly and Bridget have made me feel like family. They have given me sound advice and Its always a pleasure on my weigh in days. They keep me acountable as well and always have solutions for me. I highly recommend them! Im down almost 15 pounds since I started a little under 2 months ago and am very excited that I have finally found my weight loss solution for life!
