I’ve known Dr. Mike Quirk for over three years, mostly from his community volunteer work and his Cranial therapy workshops . I recently went to his office for some health issues I have.His knowledge is extensive. He is a board certified Family Practitioner, offering comprehensive health care. He specializes in  Osteopathic Medicine, which emphasizes a whole person approach to treatment and preventative care without the overuse of medication, and uses a hands-on approach to diagnose, treat and prevent illness or injury.His staff is friendly and efficient. It was very convenient to make an appointment.Upon entering his office, I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. The office space felt very welcoming, soft lighting and I love the usage of natural lighting in the rooms. The AC wasnt blowing cold air. A big difference compared to the usual cold, sometimes dark and sterile feeling in most offices.He always listens to what I say. He is great at explaining things to me. He does not rush. He has great empathy and compassion.I am far better now for having seen Dr. Mike. Hes an incredible doctor! I highly recommend him!

So pleased to find Dr. Mike! He’s the real deal with magic hands! I was looking for a new doctor... someone progressive, yet old school in the sense that he makes time for his patients and is actually actively listening to you. Which is hard to find these days. Personally, I’m dealing with chronic pain issues mainly from arthritis due to injuries and surgeries. I prefer to not take pharmaceutical pain medication. Receiving regular adjustments and taking supplements such as cbd have helped me with managing my chronic pain.

The doctor is extremely creepy. First of all, his assistant was out for the day so he had to check me in. She wasnt in when I called the other day either. I honestly dont think he has an assistant. Then, he kept calling his chaperone over to watch us anytime he touched me where a bikini would cover. Excuse me, what? He spoke very disrespectfully to this chaperone lady, saying things like JUST BRING ME THE PHONE! WHY CANT YOU JUST FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! So awkward and awful. To top it off, he was wearing plastic shower shoes like on Orange is the New Black and his breath smelled terrible. Awful experience. He asked for my co-pay BEFORE the appointment, so when I couldnt take any more of his weirdness, I ran out to put more money in the meter and just hightailed it out of there. Do not recommend. The guy is a total weirdo and kind of scary. The other review on here is probably fake.Update: After reading this review on yelp, they contacted me and downplayed everything I wrote, also managing to be rude to me in the process, saying that I checked my Apple watch texts too much. The WORST. They offered me a $50 credit which would cover 5 visits worth of co-pays and I STILL dont want to go back. Ever.

As a former R.N. was looking for big shoes to fill when I moved from Waiahole to Kapahulu.Someone who took a whole person approach, like a Doctor of Osteopath. Who supported my choice to use Medical Marijuana .Arlene, Dr. Mikes assistant is sweet and they are aware I take public transportation and really work with me.

I arrived in Honolulu the 1st of May with terrible vertigo and I was scheduled to leave on a cruise of the islands on the 4th. My doctor in Indianapolis practices OMM so, I did a search in Honolulu for a doctor that practices OMM. I lucked out and found Dr Quirk. He and his receptionist could not have been nicer. They got me in right away for treatment and he taught me a movement I could do to help get rid of the vertigo. I ended up going on my cruise and had a great time. It would not have been possible except for Dr Quirk and Arlenes help! Thank you both so much!!

Dr Quirk is an amazing healing, using the full scope of Osteopatic services. Great hands on healing Very worthwhile!
