GREAT GREAT GREAT! Great service, great office, great workers! Loved it! I’m so picky when it comes to Drs and places I go to for different services. Parking was a little tricky the first time but I did have ate by step instructions the office provided me I just wasn’t familiar with downtown and it’s buildings but once there it’s 1000% worth it. The hygienists are great (Malia was amazing! And I really appreciated Dr.M taking the time to make sure I understood anything I asked questions about) the office has everything from X-rays to their own labs to do anything needed which I liked very much. It was very clean, and they make you feel super comfortable. JUST AWESOME. Without feeling like I’d like to keep this gem of a place to myself so it’s not clogged up like so many other dental offices I completely think this place is top shelf quality and absolutely recommend it. Thank you guys!

For so long I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist. Kaizen dental has totally changed that for me. I love coming here. The service is great and the staff is always welcoming. Dental cleanings are easy to book and they have lots of appointment times to choose from. I always book 8 am slots so I can go right before work.I have felt at some other places they tend to always add extra services or always say that I need fillings? Not sure if I really needed all that extra work before coming here. At kaizen dental they seem to take a more conservative approach and I completely trust them and their recommendations!

The staff were super friendly and helped me through anxiety and nervousness. I went in for a toothache and had some of my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Muraoka and his staff genuinely cared for what I had to say and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. He even called a few hours later to check in to see how I was doing post extraction. Kaizen Dental Center, located downtown at the Fort St. Mall is the best dental service Ive ever experienced or recollect in 48 years. I can only comment on my 1st initial appointment, an exam & cleaning. My dentist Dr. Camden Tokunaga, his tech, Mr. Jared & the office manager, Ms. Ha are all on point & professional, friendly, likeable and humorous. They truly make your dental procedure/experience pleasant & enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to this Kaizen office and this staff for my further procedures.

I normally don’t mind going to the dentist, but going to Kaizen Dental Center to get my teeth whitened is always a pleasant experience. I’ve gotten my teeth whitened here about 5-6 years ago, thanks to Groupon, and even today, same great service. The dental assistant/whitening specialist was very thorough - she went over what to expect and post-procedure care instructions, and even gave me a bell to ring in case my teeth started to get sensitive to the whitening product. Even with the bell, the staff here constantly checked on me to make sure I was doing okay. I was even offered a paraffin wax hand treatment during the procedure, which, honestly, I now wish I did, during my me-time! Anyway, the end result: teeth whiter than my shirt! Amazing! Will definitely be coming back again in a few years (planning to keep these teeth white as long as possible)!

I originally gave 5 stars upon my first and only visit for cleaning in May 2020.Its now May 2021. I just went for my annual cleaning at a completely unassociated dental clinic (in Virginia). The subpar everything I received yesterday(equipment, cleaning, customer service, lack of aloha) made me miss everything about Kaizen! So I decided to come back and re-confirm my 5 star review for my fave dental clinic.

Woke up with a toothache and was able to go online and secure an appointment first thing. Love that I didn’t have to wait for a call back or a day or two to get in. Everyone from reception on up to the dentist was friendly and professional. The office is high tech but also human. So happy to have found Kaizen. Toothache is gone by the way.

The teeth cleaning went great. I had a routine cleaning and X-rays without mishap. My hygienist was super cool. She was quick too. The music was local style reggae that I listen to in my Tacoma so I felt relaxed and at home.The dentist said all looked good. I mentioned my front crown from another dentist was pounding and grinding at times.He used occlusal tape, the finding were that yes, the crown was pounding. He grinded the crown down on the backside of the tooth.Success- my mouth felt normal. He is by far the coolest and best dentist on Oahu. Highly recommend!!! The entire team was fun!!

Wonderful. Absolutely the best dental experience ever and this is based on a global record. Everyone from reception to hygienist to dentist was professional and genuinely nice. Equipment was modern and inspired confidence. My teeth felt so clean after a long deferred cleaning due to the lockdown. They took the time to give a thorough cleaning. And even if I found them because of a GROUPON coupon, I would go return even without a discount because they were simply the best.

Kaizen Dental was absolutely amazing! I went in got a routine cleaning and X-rays off a Groupon I found. Everyone from the gentleman who X-Rayed me to my very sweet hygienist who was very warm and kind to the dentist to even the woman who checked me in and out! I’m used to feeling stressed and just one of the masses when i go to the dentist and they really make you feel like they care. I didn’t get pressured to spend a bunch of money on procedures i did not need. I’ve definitely found my main dentist! Thank you Kaizen Dental team!!

Im happy with my visit to Kaizen Dental Center. After some researching for a potential new dentist near me on the West side , I decided to go back to Kaizen, remembering I had a very pleasant visit pre- pandemic. I was in need of a good cleaning. So happy with my cleaning experience with Malia. Very professional, knowledgeable. And upon my early arrival, Malia took me in earlier before my appointment time. Which I appreciate, not anticipating the traffic back to leeward. All worth the drive into town. I will be making plans for more dental work. I did have a consultation. Though my meeting with the Dr. was quick. I liked his enthusiasm. I will be scheduling soon for a filling and another consultation with just a few more questions on procedures. Friendly, honest, knowledgeable staff. great dentist. no long waits. scheduling appointments are very easy. text, email, or call they respond right away. no more computer recordings that will direct you to press numbers and put you on long holds. getting an estimate for dental work is very fast as well. office and clinic are clean. the super big bean bag in the waiting area is so comfy. theyre very accommodating. they even switch the tv shows in the lobby when kids or adults are in the area. my appointments always start on time. hope theyll open another clinic on leeward side to service more clients with dental needs. thank you!

If anyone has anxiety or anxiety about the dentist go here! Literally the best dentist experience of my life. Front desk was super nice and helpful (shoutout to Jacklyn) and gave me really clear parking directions which was great because finding parking in town is a nightmare. The garage was also really cheap (less than $4). The place was super clean and everyone was really nice! I have generalized anxiety and anxiety with the dentist office in particular because of bad past experiences but this hygienist was super cool:) She knew what she was doing and had great patience with me. She showed me some better brushing and flossing techniques which was really helpful! And answered my silly questions about my teeth very nicely. The dentist was super chill and immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. By the end of the visit I had 0 anxiety and look forward to my next appointment! They even gave me a clear outline of costs, choices, and even a diagram of the cavities I have and where which was so awesome! Also the best floss ever is available here!! 10/10

Nice staff. Attentive. Very clean. Large and nice offices. Not cramped or crowded. Very good precautions for Covid-19. Made the experience fun. I went for a Zoom whitening because my dentist doesn’t do them. I left and told them I’m moving all of my dental needs here. I was very impressed and I’m hard to please when it comes to a nice, clean and welcoming environment.

Dr. T took the time to really talk to me about what was going on and you can tell he cares about his clients. I saved money by coming here and they don’t rip off people by trying to get procedures that aren’t necessary, I appreciate that.

There are so many dentist to choose from in Honolulu, and I must say I found the best dental office in Hawaii, let alone Honolulu. I went to multiple other dental offices that say they offer implants, but what I didnt know is that most dentists only put the crown on the implant. Kaizen Dental Center does both the implant surgeries and replacing the tooth on top of the implant. it was a very complicated implant to do because Ive lost so much bone. Dr. Muraoka was gentle and very precise on my dental implants. Highly recommended for all your dental implant needs!

I am thrilled and grateful to be a Kaizen patient!!p.s. As my dentist had retired, and before going to Kaizen (then GMS Dental), I responded to free cleaning ads from 6 different dentists. Each quoted me costs to include both needed and elective treatment (with no differentiation stated) to continue as their patient. At Kaizen (also for free cleaning), Dr. Muraoka told me honestly what work was crucial, and what was not essential. He then immediately and graciously respected my choices for only the essentials, and continues to do so today while still giving me the best of care. This is integrity!!

Since I was use to Marvy and Kacy I wondered how she would be, but my time with her was fun. I think shell be fun to get to know more of on my future visits, just like how I got to know Marvy and Kacy.When it came time to talk cost, Jonathan came in to go over the treatment plan and my cost. I was a little worried, but only for a short because he surprised me with a special rate to adjust my out-of-pocket cost to a price that would be affordably doable.
