I use American Health Imaging for all my MRI needs, they are very professional and courteous. If you are like me and have a fear of being closed in then this is the place for you, it’s relaxing and very calming experience.

Friendly. Professional. Clean facility and they followed COVID-19 protocols. The staff was easy to work with and made my mother very comfortable. Very pleased.

Utilized this facility for a chair MRI. It was a great alternative to the traditional, claustrophobic MRI. The staff here are wonderful! The front desk is very cheerful and polite. The MRI tech was patient and kind and had a wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend!!!

Scheduling was a bit cumbersome and being a Healthcare professional the screening wasnt designed for this outlier. I was scheduled to the wrong facility then had to be scheduled out almost a month. However, the actual exam was tolerable compared to a traditional MRI. The technician was wonderful and made sure I tolerated the exam. Im so thankful I was able to get it done. The fit of the machine is a bit snug and I couldnt quite relax my shoulders at my side but I suppose thats how the machines are these days. Im not a large person but I was able to remain calmer than in a traditional machine. Ill definitely return. Thank you!

My visit went well, everyone that I came in contact with had very pleasant attitudes and were very knowledgeable of their job. The tech worked well with me and he took the time to explain everything to me considering my appointment was at 7:00 a.m. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The staff was wonderful they let you watch TV what ever TV show and it is easy and takes no time at all it is done before u no it I would go back there if I need another mri

My husband’s experience was wonderful.

After 4 years of failed attempts I finally have this behind me. It was very intimidating and terrifying but the staff member Greg made the experience an ease. I freaked out the last 10-15minutes of my test but again Greg helped to reassure and calm. I probably couldve done it without him. The tv help alot because the machine is very noisy. I hope I dont ever have to do this again in life but if I do I definitely will choose them again.

I had an MRI at Homewood Open MRI today, May 22, 2020. I was dumbfounded to see the Registration Associate not wearing a mask. Her glass screen was open, she mixed in among patients cleaning chairs & other surfaces but WORE NO MASK herself, I asked her if the technician administering the test would wear one and she said, Oh, yes, as if this was some kind of surprise. You can do better than this, Open, Upright MRI. Mask your employees!!

I came to Upright MRI very uneasy and nervous! Having attempted to do the regular MRIs with no success. When I arrived I filled out the paperwork and then Matt my technician came to get me. Upon meeting me he began to explain the process and to let me know what to expect each step of the way. Matt then did everything possible to make sure that I was comfortable during the process as I have been prone to panick attacks and issues with anxiety. I was able to watch tv which for me made the process a lot quicker, and Matt was in view during the test so I didnt feel alone. I would recommend Open Upright MRI to anyone that needs an MRI! They are truly aBlessing!

My Birmingham orthopedic surgeon is very discriminating about the MRI images he will accept.His staff scheduled my MRI with Birmingham open upright MRI because their images are clear. However, he had instructed me NOT to have just an open MRI as those machines do not get a clear enough image. My insurance covered it; the staff was caring and patient; this claustrophobic patient was very pleased.

Their MRI machines are top of the line and so was the level of customer service. The technologist was very friendly and I was able to self pay. I will definitely recommend Open Upright MRI to anyone needing outpatient imaging!

These people are phenomenal! Im severely clalostrphobic and they went above and beyond to get me through it. Kudos to the entire staff.

OMG!! This clinic has a very welcoming atmosphere that is clean along with a friendly staff that is there to serve you. I really enjoyed the refreshments that they have to offer their patient, from coffee, water chips candybars ect. An the MRI was very comfortable. I have anxiety when it comes to being in a closed or tight space. This was just like sitting in a large chair.😀😀

The people here actually made the experience a pleasant one.

The MRI was such a bad quality my Physician had me get another one done. Standing still for that long was uncomfortable.

My husband won’t go anywhere else!!!
