I have tried contacting them via telephone and their phone system is very poor. I have left messages after messages for 3 consecutive weeks and no one has returned my call. I am sure they have nice people and all, but their phone service sucks. You cannot get anyone on the phone and their automated system always directs you to leave a message. So FRUSTRUATING!!!! :(

Walk in to get Got my Pfizer Vaccine here and was treated truly amazing by all the nurses and staff. I highly recommend for people to visit this location if they have yet to get vaccinated!!! Thank you for the great service; quick and easy!!!

Really appreciate the type of service this people its giving to all the community. Needed to fill my application for my EBT program and they helped me in such of gentle way.

This program has no structure to it they are unprofessional they allowed a school staff member to remove my child from their program because of her personal dislike of me my child was withdrawn from aftercare. I complained to multiple upper management there and they did nothing. They listened to lies when all truth was clear to see on my behalf. But they chose to avoid the truth.So unprofessional I will tell everyone I know to stay away from such a unorganized place

I was first referred to Hispanic Unity of Florida about 5 years when I lost my employment. Since then I have been fortunate enough to benefit from the different services they offer. One of them being VITA, a non-profit organization providing tax preparation services at no cost. This is my 3rd consecutive year using their services and I am beyond grateful for their professional, prompt and knowledgeable assistance. Mireya and the team are awesome!!! Thank you HUF & VITA for caring for the community the way you do and responding to our needs when needed.

For those who, like me, are new to this place: if you find this place closed, with no info on the door (I went to the Hispanic Unity of Florida on the south side of Johnson st), check the other building across the street (one building east). They are open till 4 pm and receive on appointment.I had called several times and never got to speak with anyone. I decided to go in person. To the location where Google maps guided me..I was lucky to meet a gentleman picking up some packages at this first location, and he recommended checking the second place, across the street, and to knock in case I found the door locked.The person inside was kind and helpful, they gave me a direct number to contact to schedule the appointment, and info about the documents needed to apply for my case.

Me and my family are more than satisfied with the services from Hispanic unity of florida. Me and my family have been with them for more than 4 years, and they have always treated us amazing. These last two years, even with the issue of COVID-19 there services still keep being excellent. Thank you so much to specifically Mireya who always does her best to help us out and goes above and beyond, and as well to the rest of the community.

The worst decision I could have made!!! In February 2020 I went to the offices in Hollywood to do tax year 2019, and I was treated like a dog. They didnt know how to use the form provided by UBER. Despite I explained it over and over, they sent me back home. Came back the next day with every month printed and then they used the form I had brought the day before. They left me to the end and the lady that did my taxes, Mireya, she did them wrong. She didnt check the square next to the name of one of my daughters to include her as a dependent. Then I had to print all the paperwork and send it to the IRS to get the rest of the return. And to make matters worse, I didnt receive neither of the two parts of the stimulus packets that belonged to her. This year I go back, make appointment online and ask to have somebody that can be competent, and the same lady told me that they were human beings and they made mistakes that I could go and request services with a different agency. I wonder if they think that having your taxes done for free gives them the authority to work carelessly, mediocrely and treat people like they do not deserve better. I request that somehow these NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS be supervised and checked periodically. I saw several people be treated poorly there, not only me. I can manage that and know how to turn the page, but others could feel very frustrated and there could be even worse consequences with people that can get really affected . They can even get a heart attack...

A group of professional people assisting the Floridians with patience and kindness. I truly recommended for Inmigration services.

Hispanic Unity of Florida is a non-profit organization deserving everyone in the community. Its open to people from any culture without discrimination. They provide plenty programs like free taxes, job readiness, entrepreneurship, ESOL and Citizenship class, ...

I study there. The Citizenship class is very good. They have great programs to help everyone, no matter where are u from. Im so glad u been there.

I am a little discouraged with the treatment I received from Hispanic Unity of Florida. I was supposed to start a job preparing taxes. I am totally qualified. I am licensed and have 25 years experience. The organization basically jerked me around. Now they send me a one sentence statement that I am not qualified for the position. I am out in the cold.

The teachers and the classes are good, but the staff of the reception, does not let finish the classes of the night.

Have job fairs there to hire school bus drivers for Broward County School Board monthly. Great staff members.

HUF os a great place where the community get a lot of free services, in health, taxes, immigration, day care kids, after schools program and center for working families. They get A+.

3 years ago I had the joy of having their help, I took the citizenship classes, at first it seemed a bit difficult but with their way of giving the classes they make everything easier and without realizing it I left more prepared than any student knowing completely the history of this great country. They are very kind and take importance to each case without exceptions. I am very grateful and I recommend it 100%.

Very organized place to help the public solve problems. They have good guidance for each case, they give good guidance to each problem that the person who is looking for solutions to their problems presents.

Once they helped me with my citizenship… Now I want them to help me with another case and no one answers the phone. They do not return calls and the options of the phone are not heard well, they are not understood.
