Never ever again!!! The worst quality in 20 years of my experience! Went to Brazilian Full Waxing. Specialist Olga. Half of the hair left, and not symmetrical! Some big spots left with long (not short!) hair in different places... My classical line in front destroyed and made uneven.Maybe this is acceptable in Hollywood Broward FL, but Im doing Bikini Waxing regularly for 20 years and never had such a bad quality....

Best wax lady EVER! fast, patient and friendly.

When I went to get a wax there the next 2-3 days my hair started growing back fast and that’s not normal for waxing….it should take Atleast 7 days to 2 weeks before it fully stars coming out so I think the wax they use is not good quality

The best experience !! Rainy (not sure of the spelling), but she was the absolute best !! I came to visit and never been to Miami before and was my first time ever getting waxed. First time coming into this place for a wax, and super happy with the service. You have to make an appointment to come in, which I think is a great business practice so the aesthetician can dedicate that specific time to their customers. The whole waxing took less than 20 mins, I was in and out, and the aesthetician was super professional, sweet, and made me feel comfortable. The place was also spotless - definitely important for hygiene! I am planning on coming back, and highly recommend it!

My experience for the first time with the owner was amazing. She makes you feel so comfortable and is super easy to talk with. Her son, front desk is equally welcoming. The Brazilian wax was a great experience with great results! When I called today to book an appointment for my son (19) the girl who I spoke to was not friendly and bit pushy. She spoke over me numerous times and referred to me as sweetheart when she didn’t agree with me making me realize “sweetheart” endears was really being referred to me directly like an idiot. She should learn how to better treat customers from her boss.

This place in un-reliable and dismissive, the staff don’t know how to communicate properly and are inconsiderate of you as a client. The staff is a little judgmental as well very rude, if you try to explain something to them they will talk over you.

I found this place on a groupon back in May and even on my first visit they were late to seeing me. Recently I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived no one was there despite the fact that I was there 10 minutes early. I waited for 15 more minutes calling back to back and no one came or called me back even after I left. Today I called them off my regular number to speak about the situation and they did not answer. After I called on a private number and they immediately picked up the phone then hung up in my face. I am utterly disgusted with the poor values and commitment these people have to their customers and clients. I feel extremely disrespected and really would like answers as to why I am being handled in this atrocious manner.

I started out coming to Amapola with a groupon. I had a few concerns but the actual wax was pretty good so I bought a voucher or $75 that covers 3 waxes and I go once a month. Apparently there is a 90 expiration on it and I bought it in March right before the COVID madness began. One of the things I didnt like about the place was she answered the phone in the middle of sessions or would leave the room to answer it. Also, she didnt leave the room so I could undress, which made me uncomfortable but I was too shy to say anything. Any professional waxing salon should have protocol in place and at least leave for a minute or two so the client can get situation. I called in May to schedule an appointment because things were opening, cant remember who I spoke to but it very much sounded like the owner. She said she would text me her availability because she was in the middle of a session. Well she forgot to text me. I called again in June and Im fairly sure I spoke to the same lady who told me my voucher expired and she could give me one full wax and an underarm which is not the value I paid for. She said they only closed for the month of April and if she forgot to call me back I shouldve kept calling. She was completely rude in her demeanor and disrespectful. I told her I would be calling my cc company because I paid $75 and got nothing. She said I signed for it so they wont reimburse me, what a lie. I spoke to my cc company who said some businesses try saying that to naive customers to scare them. They filed the dispute and within minutes the same lady was calling me back and apologized saying she didnt realize I didnt even have my first wax with the voucher. she said they could still honor the voucher but at that point I was uncomfortable even going there and she told me if I wanted a refund I would have to come in person which I didnt want to do either. I asked if theres anyway they can refund the card without me coming in and she said shes not allowed to take my cc info but the owners were aware and would call me the following day and be able to do it. The owners never called me. Thankfully my cc company already reimbursed me. Will not ever step foot in this place or recommend and Im reporting them to groupon. Learn some professionalism, even if theres a dispute you dont have to be rude or talk down to your clients.

I moved from London where waxing places are a dime a dozen. I struggled to find a quality place here that was fast and efficient and made me comfortable. Then i found Amapola. I love this place the staff is ALWAYS friendly and makes me feel like we are friends. I tell all my friends about this place and even when family and friends visit I tell them to make an appointment. I wouldnt change again for any reason.

My fiance went in there for a wedding wax the day before our wedding. She was a walk-in and the lady said she had one person and then she would take me. So she waited over an hour and then the woman called her name and she was walking towards the room and then another walk-in (who was a regular I guess) said, I guess Ill leave... And the lady who worked there heard that and then took her over my fiance (after over an hour mind you) so we left. The way they do business is a joke. Others said similar things in their reviews and we should have listened to them. The best part was they actually thought we would reschedule, LMAO, AS IF! Stay away unless you want slow service and favoritism! And we had just added more money for parking, which is annoyance!

This establishment is based on small business owner and passionate esthetician who created her dream to making her fortune, which lucky for us, we can go to feel safe, comfortable, and even laugh our way in and out of the waxing room and that is very hard to do as a client! The place is spotless, always smells like essential oils, there is plenty of entertainment in the waiting room and once you are in there with her, it is fast, enjoyable and a welcoming experience that you will come back in three weeks because you will never trust anyone again!

Staff can be rude at times , answering phone calls during service. Poor communication as far as booking appts goes.

Best wax experience I’ve ever had. Haven’t had a wax in about 2 years so I was extremely nervous about pain but the esthetician was quick & also made you feel comfortable. The wait was a little long but it’s worth it! Will be returning for the rest of my waxes, service is superb!

I had a very bad experience here. I called a week prior to schedule an appointment for 7pm (their final waxing appt.) I get there on time for the wax and the sweet front desk girl (the only redeeming part) let me know that I was not on the schedule. I was livid. I had to leave for vacation the next day. I told them I could come in first thing in the morning and the front desk girl let me know that they would be closed (on a Friday which is so strange.) Keep in mind, they close at 8pm so there was more than enough time for us to do the wax.After pleading with the aesthetician to see me, she finally did but complained loudly how I was making her late to her plans... Ok... The wax was very uncomfortable. She was not gentle at all. She had missed SEVERAL spots.This place was very unprofessional. The receptionist (who did not book me, it was the owner) was very kind and apologetic but clearly this place is mismanaged.

Horrible customer service, rescheudled me 4 times in one day. 4 TIMES!!. Also the price they say on the phone vs in person was completely different, Also not as important but the front receptionist has a horrible attitude

This was the best and first experience getting a brazilian wax. I don’t want to mispell the lady but the owner of the shop knows what she is doing. She made me and my wife feel very comfortable and the process was very informative and for me painless. Even after I was finished she gave me after care tips. I will never shave again. I look forward to going back. She made the experience such a positive one. I would recommend going to her if you want someone who knows not only what they are doing but also provides exceptional customer service.

Every positive review that was written about this place turned out to be spot on. This was my first time getting waxed and I could not have had a better experience, esp after hearing horror stories from friends who visited other places. Amapola was clean and the process was quick without feeling rushed. The lady was very informative (shes been doing this for 14 years), used a paraben and petroleum free wax, and walked me through the entire process. First things first, the owner/esthetician is amazing. She is incredibly professional and personable. She made me feel completely comfortable in a not so comfortable situation. This was my very first time getting a Brazilian wax. She was recommended to me by a friend who gave her a raving review. After watching tons of reaction videos on YouTube, I was terrified to say the least. I went ahead and bit the bullet by making an appointment. I almost canceled more than once out of fear. I AM SO GLAD I DIDNT! I walked in, she greeted me and brought me back in a timely manner. I let her know my concerns about my sensitive skin and before I knew it we were getting started. Because I informed her about sensitivity issues, she tested the wax on my skin before going fully in. Once we were good to go, she talked me through everything and was very good at keeping me distracted. That is super important! I never once felt uncomfortable. She treated me like I’ve been a client for years. As a plus sized woman, I really appreciated that. The pain was as minimal as possible. I was actually shocked by how little it hurt. She is FAST but extremely efficient. You will appreciate her quickness though, trust me! Overall, I had the best experience possible for my first time. I’ve already made my next appointment I’m 3 weeks and I can’t wait to go back! SAYING MY FOREVER GOODBYE TO SHAVING!

They advertise as open from 9-8 on Saturday, Sunday by appointment. Arrived at 6:20 on Saturday and the lady said they were closed. I politely suggested that they should update their sign and she rudely turned her back on me and walked away. No apology offered, just pretentiousness and bad manners.Sorry but bad customer service as a first impression.
