Dr Edwards is a great Dr and person. She talks to you, she explains everything to be sure you understand, very open to questions. She removed half my thyroid; it was huge (almost 4 inches) full of cysts, cut was quite big, after 9 months, if I dont point and show the spot, nobody sees the scar. After the surgery she gives you her cell phone number, and she answered every single time I called & texted her. Shes fantastic! Thank you Dr Edwards, you are the best!!!!

Dr. Courtney Edwards is just the BEST endocrine surgeon I could ask for. I cant say enough great things about her! She is very knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate, caring! She really listens her patients! 3 nodules were found in my thyroid last month and I was terrified. The wife of a friend of mine had the same problem last year and recommended me Dr. Edwards because she made a wonderful job removing the thyroid of his wife. I made an exhaustive research about other doctors and she was the best I could find. Other thyroid surgeons seemed more like salespersons instead of caring doctors. I was extremely scared because this would be my first surgery in my entire life, so I really wanted to find a thoughtful doctor, concerned with the whole patient - metal & physical, who took time to explain me the diagnosis, surgery and treatment. Also, I love the fact that Dr. Edwards is a young woman which means probably she keeps up with the newest technology and could have a better sight and eye-hand coordination than other older surgeons. She is specialized in this type of surgeries and because she is so kind, she made feel very safe and comfortable during this difficult time! She removed my thyroid about 2 weeks ago and I am already feeling incredible! Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Edwards, she is simply an ANGEL! Dr Courtney Edwards knows her stuff! I researched parathyroid surgeons in Broward and know this is a very specialized field. I had also read most vital quality of the surgeon was experience, so I was concerned. After attending my appointments with Dr Edwards kind, professional; experienced, and personable, my fears were put to rest. So now 1 month post surgical very happy with the results.
