Very friendly atmosphere. Got me in as a new patient the same day when I was in pain. My own dentist told me to take aspirin and they could see me in over a month. This is my new dentist because they care.

Dentist...SPA!!! Who would ever imagine these two words would ever be used in the same sentence???!!!!Dr. Piero is kind, professional and skilled!! I had two fillings today. I brought my dog and grandson to the office to encourage me to smile and behave like its not a big deal!!! Well........I spent more time talking with the staff and Dr. than in the chair. I did not receive any numbing cream..shots or gas!!! In less than 15 min I was done and feeling silly to be afraid of the procedure!!!My background....too many teeth growing up - multiple extractions - fibers cut around my gums all while awake because my mother was too afraid to allow me to go into twilight!HA!!! NO NEED to be afraid my friends! GO!!!!! Enjoy a cleaning... his amazing, trained staff will hand you a warm towel to freshen your face post cleaning! (YES....I KNOW..you think its too good to be true...) NO scrapping NO drilling ...NO FEAR!!!!!!!!!! The best Dentist and staff ever! My family has been going there since 1998. Prior to that Ive had many bad experiences with several dentists. Piero is the first one I didnt need to take pain relievers before my appointments! Furthermore he sealed both my childrens teeth therefore theyve never had a cavity! It has been several years since I have seen a dentist. Im very anxious about my teeth being worked on but after my first visit I knew I was in the right office. Dr. Piero uses an awesome method of cleaning teeth that I would recommend to anyone. Instead of your teeth getting scraped, poked, and dug on he uses a special tooth power washer. No pain, or horrible scraping noises. This method is quicker, easier and very effective. Very kind and welcoming Staff.

If youre searching for a new dentist, Piero Family Dentistry is the place you want to be! The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. And Ginger, the office puppy, gives an extra inviting presence to the practice as she learns her way around! I couldnt imagine having a more relaxing appointment as I watched the birds flutter between their birdhouses and the trees.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Piero and the team. I’ve been going to this practice for over 10 years and even when living out of state would schedule my trips back around their availability just so I could stay a patient. Very relaxing experience. I have had several bad experiences with dentist in my life. Always causing me high anxiety and panic attacks. Dr. Piero had me calm the minute he walked in. We talked for several minutes, he actually listened, after the exam. He gave me an honest and fair assessment of my situation. My whole family will be seeing him from now on. They accept Delta Dental, however are not in-network meaning higher fees. I say this only because this office was not very forthright with this information.I wrongly assumed that that I would be fully covered by Delta. Staff at this office explained that they would need me to endorse the check that Delta billed to my home address and then send it to them so that they could invoice me the remainder. I figured this was just something to do with billing since they told me that they accept Delta Dental. This was the first dentist that I began seeing on my own after college, so I assumed that there would be some amount of transparency with their cost. Instead, they provided vague explanations of how much I could expect to pay for services, such as every place is different but usually about 80%. This is wrong. Delta does not cover even close to this amount for nonparticipating providers. Looking back, every time I asked how much something might cost, they would give some form of roundabout answer. I now realize that I should have done more research, but I feel that they could have been more up-front regarding not being in network for Delta or any other dental insurance.I always had a general sense of being hustled while visiting this dentist. During one of my first visits, he tried selling me his Dental Air Force machine. It seems like a grey area in terms of ethics. It felt like a violation of an appropriate dentist-patient relationship, forcing me to politely make clear my disinterest in a product that he would be profiting from directly. He provided no disclosures regarding financial incentives he receives from this. I dont think he was misleading me regarding the effectiveness of the product, but I take issue with him later recommending that I not use an oral irrigator instead of his proprietary device. Especially because the American Dental Association has provided their seal of acceptance for some brands of oral irrigator, endorsing their efficacy in removing plaque and preventing gingivitis. The same thing occurred with mouthwash. When I told him that I was using a CPC mouthwash, he recommended I instead purchase his in-house mouthwash since I wouldnt find cheaper prices and because I should stay away from sodium lauryl sulfate. Mouthwash is also recommended by the ADA, including over the counter brands, some of which contain SLS. He also recommended that I get preventative cleanings four times per year. For a healthy twenty-something year old, this is excessive and a clear attempt at making additional money off me.Overall, I didnt mind this dentist, but there were a number of yellow flags that I should have considered. I wont be returning.

Ive been coming here for almost 20 years and Piero has always taken great care of me and my family. They always get me in quick for a pain-free experience. Cleanings are quick and easy with their power washer-like system. Most recently I had a crown fail early so they fixed it up just for labor cost since they were able to cover the new crown mostly under warranty. I highly recommend Piero and his welcoming, friendly staff!

I came to Dr. Piero on chance, due to a very aggravated tooth. I was told I could come in immediately. We did a root canal that morning, and today, I had my first cleaning with him. Very knowledgeable dentist, and his assistant is very kind. These two helped relieve any fears I had of my root canal, explained the process, and kept it pain free! I would recommend him to anyone, if I could give more than five stars I would! Absolute pleasure having him work on my teeth.

Honestly, I have never had such a good experience with a dentist until today! I wasnt getting any dental work done, but my boyfriend had been experiencing excruciating tooth pain because his filling came out. Both Piero & his assistant were amazing & welcoming!! Definitely deserve more than 5 stars!

Having had a toothache for quite some time, but being irrationally afraid of any dental work being done, I kept putting off going in. Finally I could no longer wait and went to see Piero. As expected, he told me I would need a root canal. As terrifying as the words sounded, he made me feel at ease as he explained exactly what was about to happen. And yes, he got busy on this tooth right away. I was so relieved to not have to come back another day! Piero and his assistant worked together and accomplished the most pain free and quick root canal ever. I literally had zero discomfort during/after the procedure. This whole process took less than an hour and I left feeling so great about the experience in this dental office. If you want a dentist who knows exactly what is best for your oral hygiene, you need to make an appointment with Piero!

My review went from a 5 to a 1 star because Ive never been treated the way this dentist treated me at my last visit. After many years and thousands of dollars paid he verbally assaulted me and acted extremely erratic in front of my eleven-year-old daughter bringing both of us to tears. Last year two baby teeth had cavities which he filled two times in a matter of months and then pulled them after my daughter got an infection. Which racked up $1,000 bill that I had been making payments on until Corona at which time is office closed down and my husband and I were both laid off. As soon as possible I reached them and began paying the bill off which I did today despite the fact that my husband wanted to sue him because he should have just pulled the teeth initially. The women in the office are wonderful but the dentist is a nutcase and I should have listened to locals who warned me against going there

By far this is the best dentist I have ever been to.I was a new patient and got a same day emergency appointment. Dr piero is so kind and sincere.I could tell he really wanted to help me fix my teeth. And his staff is also very kind and welcoming.(Debbie was so comforting and nice)I have never felt so at ease while in a dental chair.I also have no dental insurance and was able to aford the great service .I Love this place.! I have been having a horrible time with my teeth, having neglected my oral care by not visiting a dentist regularly for the last decade . The result being very bad cavities and an infection causing incredible pain. I was fortunate enough to be sent to Dr. Piero by a coworker .The staff was understanding and I was surprised when I was informed that I would have to lose the tooth . I was worried about the pain involved . The extraction of my tooth, a large molar was the least painful dental procedure I have ever had. I would recommend everyone go to Dr.Piero for there dental needs. I now have a plan for the rest of me dental work, though my own neglect is unfortunate, I am great full for his expertise and advice.

I recently visited Dr Piero’s office in Holland MI for a dental implant procedure. Dr Piero and his staff were amazing and very knowledgable and delivered a great education on oral hygiene. The procedure was painless and I was so pleased with the outcome and my tooth feels natural and normal. My appointments were always on time and I appreciate the promptness of the dentist and his staff. I would highly recommend this dental office to all friends and family!!!

Would not recommend. There was a tooth that was causing alot of pain, they found nothing wrong. They went ahead and ground on the tooth without any numbing medication. Which made it worse. They gave no pain medication, and charged me a larger copay for the tooth to be worse.

Over $300 for 1 extraction. Hell no. If I knew Delta Dental wouldnt insure me at this location, I wouldnt have used their over-priced services. The thing that really shocked me is that my general manager explained to me that he used this guy too until Delta Dental refused to pay for his services, so he found another dentist. This suggests to me that this office was aware that my insurance wouldnt cover services and did not notify me. This office is SHADY. Be careful.

Ive lived in Holland since 1994 and have been a patient of Pieros since that time along with my husband (my son started seeing him a year later)... Cleaning visits account for some of my favorite times of the year... The fact that one gets the Doctor to visit ones mouth several times a year is comforting and Pieros fabulous cleaning system allows for a quick and efficient cleaning that leaves your mouth singing a happy song! I travel out of state to visit Dr. Piero and his wondeful dental staff. What I love about his approach is that he is not only concerned about the well being of my teeth but my overall systemic health. His wellness approach of total body health is really congruent for my belief system of being healthy in every way. This office is easy to work with and has exceeded my expectations of what dental care should be. I would say Doctor Piero is a master at what he does, and also an innovator for developing a unique approach to dental cleanings. Being in healthcare, I especially like Dr. Pieros philosophy of the whole body approach to gum and dental care. There are so many great things that can be said about about this dentist and the staff; but, to sum it all up, Holland is lucky to have this practice!

Absolute best dental experience! He was the 7th office I called to get a molar extracted. It had been 2 weeks in severe pain. I was seen immediately. He was so kind and reassuring. Only 1 shot and maybe 3 minutes. Amazing in comparison to other similar dental procedures. His methods are beyond professional, I wish I had met him a long time ago!Not only a five star review, I also brought my youngest in now as a new patient. She is 10 and has been fighting the same back tooth for 5 months. She has been seen by her pediatric dentist. He just couldnt fix the problem, and yelled at her to stop crying. Hmm. She saw dr. Piero and therapy helper. Everybody in the office came to meet her and put her at ease. Her problem was solved simply and she walked out smiling and happy! She is very excited for her first cleaning at her new dentist coming in a month.Thank you to Dr. Piero and wonderful staff for being so different and caring. You have been much appreciated!

Great place to visit for all your dental needs

I do not reccomend this dentist I paid 150 dollars for a tooth cleaning that lasted at most 5 to ten minutes, the dentist was very rude and he didnt even get all the plaque off my teeth will not return

The alternative method in which he cleans your teeth puts the traditional method to shame. My teeth feel just as clean, if not cleaner, and the best part is that my visits rarely last over 10 minutes (including the waiting room). I also like how he seals a quadrant of molars each visit, which means every two years my whole mouth is sealed without going over my insurance allowance. The combination of the above must work because I have been cavity/issue free since I started going.I was referred to Dr. Piero by a colleague when I moved to the area from out of town and needed a dentist. That was over 5 years ago and I have been happily returning ever since. My wife was skeptical, but after one visit she was sold. He and the staff are very friendly and personable. I highly recommend Dr. Piero to anyone in need of a dentist or just looking for a refreshing change from the norm!

Fast, friendly, and fresh. I drive out from Grand Rapids for these reasons.

My boyfriend went to this dentist office for a routine teeth cleaning and check up, which should have cost him nothing with his insurance. He was later billed over $300 in fees from this place!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Clearly just money hungry and tried to charge more for something routine. Dont give them the time or your money.
