I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Akbar! She is professional and responsible, while having a wonderful bed-side manner. My pregnancy experience was wonderful thanks to her. I highly recommend her as a doctor.

I would give zero star to the Doctor’s office. I had schedule a consultation visit only. It was less than 10mins of conversation and doctor suggests me that i could check with other infertility clinics. Then i pay copay and they billed my insurance as well. And still asking me to pay the remaining. There should be some consideration if you have not provided any treatment.

Dr. Akbar is an awesome doctor. She is very professional and very caring . She took a great care of my wife during all our Prenatal Visits and particularly during Labor time her service and treatment was exceptional. My wife felt so comfortable under her. we strongly recommend her

Ive been to see Dr. Samreen twice and absolutely love her and her staff. They are always in a pleasant mood and willing to help! Her office is also very clean and comfortable which is a major plus. I would highly recommend her!-Update two years later. I adore the entire staff. Theyre absolutely amazing. As an example I wasnt able to make an appointment today and they rescheduled it for Wednesday night after hours so I could get in before the end of the week.Shes the best doctor you could as for.

As a first time mom, I feel blessed and lucky to have had Dr. Akbar deliver my baby. She is very thorough and very compassionate; she explains all the procedures and doesn’t do unnecessary interventions/procedures. During labor and delivery, she was very patient with me and motivated me throughout. Also easy to reach and answers promptly towards any concerns. I would highly recommend her especially for anyone who is pregnant for the first time and does not know what they are to expect!

She is an amazing doctor. Every one has their own experiences. But she was very careful during my pregnancy. There were times when I didnt feel the baby move. She took all the precautionary measures. I had a c-section since I had a 4th degree tear during the delivery of my first baby.

Dr.Samreen Akbar is very good. She is friendly and so caring. Also she communicates the things nicely. Office staff and nurse are also very nice. During the delivery, she gave very good motivation to my wife which helped a lot. I definitely recommend her.Shes one of the Best doctors :)

Dr. Akbar is an AMAZING doctor. All my prenatal visits were great, she made me feel comfortable at all times. Having a high risk pregnancy and going into labor early wasn’t to scary being under the care of Dr. Akbar, she knew how to keep everything under control, I strongly recommend her. My husband and I are really pleased with her services.

This is the best Physician I have EVER had the pleasure of working with. I don’t even know where to start but she is very very knowledgeable, extremely caring, gives 100% to her patients!! I would 100% recommend her and am using her again. She is just wonderful, you can’t go wrong

I happened to find Dr. Akbar while browsing the Web for ObGyns during my pregnancy. We read some good reviews so we went for her, and that was the best decision my husband and I made. Dr. Akbar is a very sweet lady. She has decades of experience on her. She is very clear in all her information and diagnosis. I generally have a notepad full of questions at every visit, and she willingly and patiently answers all of them. I really really appreciate that in my doctor.The staff is very sweet. Missy and the nurse (I dont remember the name) are very helpful. They know their job very well. The office hours are also very convenient. Wednesdays, they start late so they go on till the evening. And they work every alternate Saturday so it is a huge plus for working couples.Dr. Akbar all the way!

We had an extremely bad experience with this doctor. My wife saw her throughout her pregnancy and Samreen did not take any precautionary measures like timely ultrasounds, appropriate prenatal and tests etc. She insisted us to go for C-Section and scheduled it even though my wife was not feeling any signs of need for delivery. It all resulted in a nightmare. My daughter was born with a life threatening condition of Biliary atresia, a liver condition. Since she did not care to see my wife and my baby properly during the pregnancy, we found this when she was 4-month old. At that point it was too late for a surgery and only option left was to get a liver transplant. Doctors said if they knew before my daughter did not need a transplant. My other friends wife who saw a different doctor during pregnancy, that doctor told them everything about their coming baby who had complications and they were prepared for it and got timely treatments after baby was born. I wish we chose a different doctor.

Dr Akbar is absolutely the best! She has a calm and caring bedside manner as well as some of the top skills and experiences in her field. Her office staff is friendly and make it easy to check in and out. I did not wait long which may be the case at any physicians office especially an OB/Gyne.

Worst staff!! I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone, I was sent to the emergency because of excessive vomiting and bleeding and I passed out while my sister in law was trying to reach Samreen Akbar but the staff said they can’t page her unless the patient is going to labor I don’t even know if it’s legal or not!!! She strictly told her staff not to page me unless my patient is going to labor , thank god she’s not my doc anymore and if you all are okay with this thumb rule then it’s fine but I would say if you’re becoming a mom you would want to go to somewhere who actually cares about you and your baby!

Samreen Akbar is very friendly and understand our concerns or health problems. she has lot of patience to listen to us. i really loved all association with her and her staff for my first baby. i highly recommend her for her patience and kindness.

Me and my wife love Doctor Samreen she and her staff are very friendly, they are very tentative to all of our concerns. She answers all my question (given i am a male and i dont understand all of this that much). She provides us with advise on what is best for the wife. We are really please we found her, she is a kind person who you feel comfortable.

I have been a patient for a couple of years. Dr. Akbar has been great but she really went above and beyond when some tests came back and I needed more evaluation. She and her office staff coordinated with the hospital seamlessly, so everything was done quickly and she personally called me to follow-up each step along the way.

We were very new to the area but thanks to god we found Dr Samreen Akbar who is such a great doctor.She is very caring,polite and explains everything in detail.This was our first child and we had an excellent experience with her.

Worst place to go. Very rude and disrespectful staff! Would not go the extra Mile to call insurance and refused service even tho was in the insurance network. Excuse after excuse to the point staff deleted appointment and said didnt have scheduled appointment. Nurse and front desk act like the own the office to the point you can not speak to anyone else when running out of excuses! Please avoid place not worth the headache or immature staff better drs out there then this office.

My Husband and i are so extremely happy and blessed i found Dr Akbar.The most sincere caring and Concerned Dr.Her Nurse and Staff very nice to.I had a total Abdominal Hysterectomy.Everything went good and recovery.Shes an Expertise Gyno Surgeon and takes pride in all she does.Asks if u have any questions she will spend time with u and answer any questions u have at Appts.Extremely fortunate i found her and blessed ...Definently will refer others to her and i have referred a friend to her..Excellent office she has Dr and her Staff :)

Dr Akbar is an Amazing the Best Gynosurgeon .Extremely fortunate to have found a Sincere Caring has alot of Patience Dr.Shes very concerned for her Patients.Shes gentle.I had a Total Hysterectomy Bikini line cut incision .Surgery went perfect smooth no complications.Smooth Recovery .Dr Akbar is an Expertise Gyno Surgeon she makes sure her Patients have no probs after surgery and during and heal good .She takes pride in all she does.My Hubby and i are so fortunate and happy to have Dr as my Gyno.Im no longer Suffering Fibroids Adenomyosis no more painful periods.Whn i first went to Dr she didnt let me suffer .She right away did Ultrasound then Surgery 3 weeks later Thank God as i say every day to have Dr Akbar the best and her Staff Missy and Maria and Ultrasound Tech amazing to .Very nice caring office 💕

Very disappointed and frustrating experience. U arrive 20mins before your appointment but still you need to wait for 45-60mins to get your turn for check up. Visited twice both time same experience and also they charged me double price when I got my insurance billStay away from this clinic to save your time and money

I am so disappointed in Dr. Samreen Akbar, her staff and this appointment booking application called ZODOC through which I booked my appointment with Dr. I was in immense pain over the weekend and called Dr. Akbars office to see if they can get in touch with my symptoms and have her prescribe me at least something over the counter that would help me with pain. But Dr.Akbar didnt even bother to listen how much pain I was going through and her answer was to have me come in Monday. I was crying with pain for two days and made an appointment through ZODOC for Monday morning 10.00am. MY husband stayed home to take me to the clinic. At 9.45 the office calls me to let me know that they are fully booked and I do not have an appointment. And that the doctor cannot check me because I am on my cycle. Even I am embarrassed to go to a doctor when I am on my cycle but I couldnt stand the pain, how could a doctor ask me to wait for 6 more days till it ended so that she could see me.What kind of gynecologist are you if you cannot check some one in immense pain regardless of them being on a cycle?I was in so much pain that I couldnt even bare the thought of waiting another day to see a doctor. I am glad there are other responsible gynecologists who even after having a full booked schedule had me come in and was empathetic to my pain and treated me, it did not matter to her if I am on my cycle, she and her staff said they could hear the pain in my voice. We need more responsible Doctors and their staff who can sense a patients needs and moreover be there for some one when they need their doctor the most.Neither the doctor nor her staff is reliable. The staff couldnt be relied for making a successful appointment (even if ZODOC gave me incoorect information they should have rectified it by apologizing for the error and as a courtesy offering me a same day appointment) and the doctor for understanding the urgency and the pain of her patient.
