We loved our time at Cresthill! We recently moved out of Hoboken and miss the care we had at Cresthill everyday. I felt like they did a great job really getting to know our son and would keep us updated throughout the day with pictures. I also appreciated that we had a weekly touch base with his teacher to see how he was doing. I was super uneasy about sending our 5 month old to daycare but Cresthill made it really easy!

This daycare sets the bar - and it’s a very high standard. My kids attended Cresthill for 2.5 years and loved it. Everything about this place is top notch - The curriculum is exceptional, the food served is ALL organic and the attention to cleanliness is the best I’ve seen. We moved out of Hoboken and sadly had to leave Cresthill and after 6 months my daughter still talks daily about how much she misses her Cresthill teachers and classroom. Highly recommend!!

My family had a wonderful experience at Cresthill Academy. We began sending my son there when he was just a few months old. All the teachers and administrators at Cresthill truly love the kids and really care for them if they were their own. He also learned so much and did so many unique activities that I never would have thought to do at home. Cresthill really felt like a second family for my son and the kind of learning environment that allows kids to thrive.

I enrolled my son at Cresthill Academy (Uptown) when I was looking for opportunities for him to socialize and be in a learning environment at 16 months old. My first impressions of Cresthill were that it felt like more than babysitting, and it would be a place where the teachers got to know and encourage my son to grow and learn. During our time there, Cresthill continued to exceed our expectations and make improvements to the center with an outdoor play space, and offered additional opportunities like dance classes for the kids. It always felt like the director was going above and beyond for my family. Every teacher was friendly, helpful, communicative, and really took care of my son like they loved him. As a working parent, it was a relief to know I was taking my son to a loving, safe, and clean environment every day.

This is exactly the kind of daycare you can feel confident trusting your kids with.

We are extremely happy with our choice to enroll our child at Cresthill Academy, uptown. It was extremely difficult for me to wrap my mind around leaving my infant at daycare but I quickly discovered that Cresthill is not merely a daycare; it is a safe and loving environment where everyone, even teachers not in your child’s classroom, love your child and foster their development. I definitely had tears at the first few drop offs but those disappeared within a matter of days as I could see my child loved his experience. As soon as he could hug, he hugged his teachers good-bye. He thrived in the program and with his teachers. I thought I did a lot at home but I certainly didn’t do art projects with my 5 month old! My mom is a retired teacher and she is extremely impressed with all of the educational and age appropriate developmental activities Cresthill has for the kids. They go above and beyond spending personal time to create special activities for the kids and the families. It would be a lot easier for them to forego field trips and water play and holiday activities but they do them all and more. I’m confident my child is safe in their care. We also love the organic meals and snacks that are provided for the older children. We are so happy to see our child growing at Cresthill!

My children have been attending Cresthill Academy since they both were 5 months old (now 3.5 and 1.5). I feel very blessed having the option to send them to such a nurturing and safe school. Even in the midst of a pandemic, I feel like this is the best choice we could make for childcare. The classes are small and the quality of care is high. The teachers truly love their students and I feel very good knowing they are in such a loving, caring environment. Seeing my children use sign language, read, write, sing, dance and be happy when we drop them off / pick them up makes me know we made the right choice with Cresthill. I am also impressed with how they handle the COVID lockdown. They did not charge parents during the state mandated shutdown (while most other daycares in Hoboken to) and they thought of innovated ways to continue to provide care remotely (Zoom classes, materials, more). I was also very impressed that they took the time and resources to secure PPE for local Hoboken needs at a time when PPE was very hard to find. And since returning post-shut down, I’ve been very pleased with how they’ve handled new procedures and requirements. Finding someone or somewhere to care for your children is one of the most important things we do as parents. There is no perfect option. But Cresthill has been the right option for us - from the beginning and through it all.

If you want your child to attend a truly clean and healthy childcare center in Uptown Hoboken, then you want Cresthill Academy. All Cresthill locations a Healthy Child Zone® Program schools. That means they have been totally decontaminated, terminally disinfected and treated with a special antimicrobial. Our service helps Cresthill keep the survivability of germs to a minimum, unlike other schools that are not part of the Healthy Child Zone® Program of childcare infection prevention, control and eradication.

When we moved to Hoboken in 2018, our son was 1 year old and had been in a nanny share since 4 months old. I was nervous about sending him to daycare, especially since he wasn’t even crawling yet. We started him at Cresthill in July 2018, and now that it’s a year later, I can’t imagine life without Cresthill! From the wonderful, caring directors and teachers to the amazing families and kids, Cresthill has truly become a community of friends, and it has been an incredible place for our son to grow and develop. I am proud of his progress, and am so very grateful to Cresthill for everything they have done for us as a family since we started last year. Sadly we are leaving Cresthill soon, as we have an au pair starting next month to take care of our toddler and newborn. I wish Cresthill had a drop off program so that we could send our toddler part time. A deeper sibling discount would also be a great incentive for retaining families with two children.We absolutely love this place so much and highly recommend it!!! Thank you for an incredible year!

We absolutely LOVE Cresthill Academy Uptown :) The teachers and staff at Cresthill are incredible, they truly care about your little ones and have made the transition to daycare for our daughter so much easier. They send adorable pictures throughout the day which for working parents is such a blessing (especially when traveling for work!) They keep the kids so busy with adorable activities. We are so happy with our experience thus far at Cresthill and would highly recommend to anyone considering!!

Our son started at Cresthill Uptown at 6 months old and we cannot say enough great things about them. He is currently in the infant room and all of the teachers are so loving, caring and knowledgeable. He loves going to school and gets excited to see his friends & teachers. As first time parents, we have been extremely impressed with the curriculum and what he has learned in the time that he has been there. We are so happy that we found Cresthill to send our son!

Our daughter has been attending Cresthill for 16 months now and she absolutely loves it. From the very first day when we dropped her off, we were put at ease with the care and attention that each and every single teacher showed her. The regular photo updates throughout the day keep us informed as to what shes been doing and she always seems to be smiling, enjoying whatever activity she has been doing. They follow a very well planned and thought out educational plan, designed to cover all aspects of the childrens development with a great deal of emphasis placed on having fun too. Miss Nancy and Miss Erin do a superb job in running the Day Care and we couldnt be happier with our choice to send our daughter there and would highly recommend Cresthill to any other prospective parents.

My child has been in the Guppies room since he was 3 months old and we have really loved seeing his growth blossom with the love of his teachers and the directors at Cresthill. Since I work from home 2 days a week, I have the flexibility of popping over to check in whenever and I have never witnessed anything amiss. I look forward to my sons continued development and look forward to him moving up to the Toddler Room as the teachers in there has always been kind and sweet to him when we pass through their classroom during pick up and drop off.

My son has been at Cresthill for almost 2 years and we have loved it. He started as a tiny baby because I only had 8 weeks maternity leave, and the staff were very sensitive to my requests, especially when it came to making sure he got much needed sleep in a busy room. As he has grown, he has learned so much from his teachers at Cresthill and I cant wait to see what he comes home with next. At just shy of two, he is learning days of the week, colors, shapes, Mandarin...all sorts of amazing things. Most importantly, it is clear that the staff really care about him, and all of the children there. They have become like a second family. Its hard enough to have to leave your kid at daycare everyday; its a touch easier knowing how much they care. Theres great community amongst the parents as well. We are very satisfied parents.

Enrolling our daughter here was by far the best decision we have made for three reasons:1-The primary reason is that our kid has gotten an amazing head start in terms of education which, as a family, we care a lot about. Our daughter is only three years old and she can sing and count in 3 different languages. Unfortunately, they have classes only up to age 3 so we had to enroll our daughter in a public Pre-K 3. We could see very clearly the difference in the skill level of kids who had attended Cresthill before Pre-K.2-We love the staff. Both directors were like family members. It really came across how much they cared about our daughter.3-The hours are really convenient. It was great to be able to drop her off at 7am if we had an early start.Cons:It would be ideal if they had higher levels too even if its just an after school class. Our daughter had a great start in Mandarin, and I wouldve really liked her to be able to continue to improve her MandarinOverall, it was an amazing experience. Ive recommended Cresthill to many families who care about their childs development.

Our youngest was at this location for about a year and half before we moved and we loved every moment...from the heart warming pictures we got daily to how warm and welcome the teachers are, it was such a loving and warm environment. Our eldest attended another Cresthill Academy years ago, and we had such incredible care and this time around was no exception.

DO NOT enroll your child in this daycare on Sinatra Drive. As someone who has had a lot of experience here, some of the teachers would yell at the children, and get frustrated very easily. I do not recommend this place at all.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DAYCARE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! The teachers, while some of them are great, are inexperienced and are not patient with the children at all. One of the teachers has yelled at the children, that are TODDLERS. It is not the way you treat children. Some of them should never be in the business of childcare. Absolutely horrific. Do your research and stay away from here.
