Couldnt ask for better service and treatment! I went in barely being able to walk and wound up leaving feeling back to 100%. Dr. Canova took time to explain my situation (3 herniated disks at 26) and walked through his recommendations on a plan moving forward and made sure I understood everything. Each visit, him and his wonderful staff (Carol and Darwin) made sure I was in the most comfort and would adjust anything according to the plan if needed.I wound up having to move out of state mid treatment and Dr. C, Carol, and Darwin made sure that they helped me find a new spot that was up to their standards and that fit our game plan.10/10 for anyone, but would highly recommend to any athlete looking for the right fit.

Chiropractors are often a coin toss; it takes awhile to know if youve gotten a good one or not. Top to bottom, Dr. Joe Canova and his office are the best Ive been to in years of seeing chiropractors. Dr. Joe has made an incredible difference in my health, particularly with a lower back issue I first encountered as a weight lifter many years ago. Darwin, his assistant, and Carol, office manager, are both equally responsive and concerned with patients health issues. I simply cannot recommend this office highly enough. Truly a cut above the rest.

Dr. Canova does a great job in tackling the source of the problem and fixing it. I appreciated how he is interested in all aspects of a patients health (diet, exercise, goals, etc.) and is passionate about continuing to further his own knowledge. Since day 1 of coming to Hoboken Integrated Healthcare, the staff and especially Dr. Canova have went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and satisfied with the treatment they provide. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient with outstanding quality of medical care. I work extremely longs hours throughout the week and spend all of those hours standing up. On top of that I recently got into a car accident that has created a lot of tension in my neck and back. Dr. Canova has not only helped relieve that tension but tells me why I may feel that tension in detail. Every session I attend relieves my pain little by little and I don’t know what I would do without him. Carol, the office manager, is great as well in being patient if I’m late to my appointment and if an emergency comes up, she’s able to reschedule me right away. I started seeing Dr. Canova in December of 2020 after I got rear ended pretty badly. I wasnt sure how I would be able to recover considering 1. I had never been rear ended and 2. I had never been to a chiropractor before. Rest assured, after attending treatment a couple times a week, I can already feel such a positive difference in my neck and back. From Carol at the front desk to Darwin who helps with physical therapy, the entire staff is kind, caring, and most importantly patient. I was dreading going because Ive been to physical therapy and found it a choice to go. But I must say that the entire staff has made my physical therapy enjoyable. I have been going to Hoboken Integrated for my shoulder for a few months now and am extremely happy with the experience. Everyone on the team is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable. They provide a full, comprehensive treatment by offering a chiropractor, acupuncture, and physical therapist in the same office. PT Dr Hussein has helped tremendously in working on multiple different parts of the shoulder/back and building strength and endurance back in those muscles. Super sketchy insurance management - might be insurance fraud?The guys that worked with me were competent and usually friendly, though. Receptionist/secretary was usually nice but sometimes condescending - especially if you asked her to explain the arbitrary insurance costs. Once accused me of owing $300 dollars, then didnt bother apologizing when she realized she was wrong.Was told Id get some sort of perk for a good review - a previous reviewer said they gave out Starbucks gift cards, but Im not into being bribed to lie.

This staff is extremely accommodating and they just make you feel like youre at home. I was given a through examination, xrayed, and received a complete explanation of my problem before any therapy was performed. This was followed by a slow progression of therapy that opened up by nerves and substantially relieved my pain. Ive been seeing Virginia for about 8 months now and she has helped profoundly in my life. Initially I heard about the office from a friend then I called to make an appt. Brittany answered the phone. It was one of the best phone conversations I ever had calling anywhere to make an appointment. She made me feel so welcome and enthused and I havent even started treatments there yet. I was very impressed with how she was able to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease.When starting treatments with Virginia I was brand new to Acupuncture. I was suffering from daily migraines. Yes daily and now I am able to get through my day to day activities without them. She plays a key role for me in my life for achieving overall optimal health and happiness. So for her I am grateful.My only issue with the office in general is on quite a few occasions Ive seen dogs in the area where physical therapy occurs. Other than that the rest of the staff is very friendly and wonderful

I called this place a few months ago while I was experiencing a lot of pain in my neck and tailbone after a skiing accident. I called before the place was even open, Carol booked me for the first appointment of the day - totally saved me. Turns out I herniated 2 discs in my neck, and dislocated my tailbone. I was in so much pain. Dr. Lawrence Peters has been treating me 3 times a week for the last three months. After my first treatment, I already had immediate relief. He has been so cautious and understanding and gentle - he explains everything so well and helped me understand what was going on with my body. When I consulted a pain management doctor to get an epidural, all of Dr. Peter’s findings were validated. Carol is such a joy to see in the morning, she always hooks me up with a convenient appointment time and makes sure I am always on schedule. Dolan, the PT who takes care of me, is such a sweetheart. He always remembers where we last left off without looking at my file, even through he treats so many patients each day. Couldn’t be happier with this place - they are awesome and I would recommend my family and friends 100 times over.

I was recommended to Hoboken Integrated Health by a friend 4 months ago due to nagging lower back pain that started impacting my daily activities including picking up and playing with my kids. I was evaluated by the chiropractor and learned about the cause of my pain. My treatment started with a 3 day a week program that included chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy. Dr. Canova spent significant time explaining the causes of my issues, and continues to take the time to explain where I am at during each treatment, and his work helped me a great deal. He always makes sure to stretch and loosen my muscles which helps make any chiropractic adjustments, if necessary, more effective. Along with the exercises and massage treatment from the physical therapist, Hussein, and the assistance of Darwin, I continued to make significant progress. This included specific/targeted exercises that strengthened the muscles contributing to my lower back pain. My treatment has since been reduced to 1-2 times a week, depending on how my back feels. Carol is wonderful with scheduling and coordinating all the various appointments each week. My treatment over the last few months at Hoboken Integrated Health has been a positive experience on my life and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

I’ve always been very skeptical about going to a chiropractor for neck issues, because quite frankly, those “cracking” noises when they adjust you really scare me. As an absolute last resort after spending two days with barely any range of motion and severe pain while sleeping I finally decided I would see what it was all about. I made everyone aware of my apprehensions and they where all very willing and able to accommodate my requests. Shockingly they were also able to make me comfortable enough to allow them to do an adjustment/adjustments. After six sessions I have almost zero pain and have 90% range of motion back. The staff is all very knowledgeable and friendly. It seems like a time consuming process but at least you’re spending time with friendly people in a happy office environment!

The chiropractor is great with relieve pain and explains everything you need to know and why he is doing whatever adjusting he is doing. After 3 months of physical therapy, I completed the half marathon pain free. Just started acupuncture and I’m very content with their services. Highly recommend checking them out.

Don’t let the small size of this facility fool you; this is by far the BEST PT facility in Hoboken. I’ve been going here for the past 6+ weeks after trying another facility nearby and not being pleased with the service. I’ve noticed significant improvements from my care and feel so much better than when I first walked in. Rick and Devanshi are both super kind, knowledgeable, and experienced therapists who will design a custom tailored program to cater to your specific needs and keep you engaged throughout the process. This is not your run of the mill, cookie cutter type clinic that will throw the typical exercises at you. Rick can literally make an exercise out of anything, and his manual therapy techniques are top notch. Dr. Peters is also a very experienced chiropractor. If you’re looking for a great clinic with an awesome atmosphere, look no further. You will be very happy with your experience here.

I have been going to Hoboken Integrated Health for years the staff is great. Carol at the front desk always greets you with a smile. The Physical therapist Hussein is very concern about making sure you are making progress. Darwin his assistant makes sure you do all your excercises with a positive attitude. Kristine that does the acupuncture is very easy to talk to and is very delicate with the process. The new addition , Cardiologists Dr Will is nice. This staff has a great personality and makes it moreenjoyable to go to physical therapy.

Called here to get basic pricing on fees for acupuncture bc my insurance only covers 80%. Spoke with carol and could not get an answer. She told me she could give me cash prices but not insurance prices. huh? I tired explaining to her that Id like not to be caught by surprise after a few visits but she clearly didnt get it so I will go elsewhere as this sounds shady.

I cannot praise this practice enough. I injured my back while working out and was able to get a same-day appointment to be assessed and begin treatment. I could barely walk when I entered the office and quickly learned from Dr. Canova my back was severely spasming and a disc herniation had reoccurred.Once the inflammation reduced, Dr. Canova provided adjustments, traction, stim and setup onsite PT. Dr. Canova explained each treatment pathway for a clear path to progress and most importantly, how I would be able to return to my normal workout regimen and activity level.I looked forward to each appointment because after each adjustment and PT, my mobility had improved.I am so grateful for the team at Hoboken Integrated Healthcare for treating my injury and helping to prevent further pain.

I have Tennis Elbow, and a friend recommended this facility. Attending this facility was one of my great decisions. Within 3 weeks, my pain level has dropped from 9 to 4.The therapists Dr. Osar, Darwin and Marsha are wonderful, and very skilled. The receptionists always wear welcoming smiles. Genna is always very efficient, and always gets your questions answered. They are a very wonderful and professional team. I have already recommended them to my friends and co-workers.

This is one of the bright spots in Hoboken. It’s a place where everybody knows you by your first name and you are assured the best treatment. I highly recommend it!

Dr. Canova and team are GREAT! Started treatments a couple of months ago for a neck injury and pretty much pain free now. The chiropractic treatments along with the physical therapy is definitely helping as well as making my neck and shoulder area stronger. Everyone is so friendly and really devoted to getting you better. Making appointments is really easy and they are very flexible with cancelling and changing dates. I hear the acupuncturist is very good - might have to give that a try one day...

Cant say enough about this place... decompression and adjustments were the only thing that has helped my herniated discs... Recently been going back again as I need to keep on top of my back issues.. Everybody is super friendly and knowledgable... you kind of feel you are with family and friends and they are very accommodating as well when it comes to making/changing appointments.

Hussein, the Physical Therapist has been great helping me strengthen my muscles to better support my lower back. Darwin is good at assisting me with my treatment. Overall, the HIHC team has made significant changes towards my lower back issue. Carol at the front desk makes setting up appointment very easy and accommodates my hectic schedule. Every single staff member at Hoboken Integrated Healthcare has been beyond amazing in helping me recover from my neck injury. Dr. Canova is a very methodological chiropractor; he performed an in-depth analysis of my symptoms and X-rays and figured out the underlying causes of my injury.Even though I was initially very wary of going to a chiropractor, the first visit convinced me that I was at the right place to get treated. A few weeks later, I stand by my initial impression. After regular adjustments for the last few weeks, Dr Canova has helped me recover and is helping me correct the underlying issue for the future. He diagnoses the issue with my neck and spine every visit and treats it with exactly what is appropriate - be it a manual adjustment or a laser therapy.On the physical therapy side, Hussein is an extremely astute physical therapist. My first consultation with him was what convinced me to go to come to this clinic in the first place. Even though they turned out to be out-of-network with my insurance, I really wanted to visit because Hussein quickly and correctly identified all issues with my lower body. I just knew that he had the right skills to help me strengthen the weak areas of musculoskeletal system. A few weeks in, Im very happy with the progress Ive made - I can see that my calves, hamstrings, and other parts of my lower body have become much more flexible and much stronger. All throughout these visits, Darwin, the PT aide helps me get my form correct. Moreover, both of them were instrumental in reducing my chronic inflammation from my injury - from active release massage therapy to electrical muscle stimulation.Carol at the front desk makes scheduling visits easily and has always accommodated me when my plans change. Their flexibility helped me visit regularly and stay on track for recovery.After a few weeks of visits to help me recover from my injury, I really feel like the staff at Hoboken Integrated Healthcare care was there for me to help me through it. I am thankful for their role in the huge progress I made in recovering from my neck injury and do not know how I would have come this far without them!

Great! Everyone on staff from the members at the desk to the PTs are both knowledgeable and helpful. My PT, Justina is awesome and always knows how to help with the right amount of exercises in both quantity and resistance. Everyone is very accommodating and understanding when you need to switch or cancel an appointment and the location is ideal being so close to the PATH. I would highly recommend Hoboken Integrated Healthcare!

My initial consultation with Dr. Will was quick and informative. He immediately identified the issue. I thought it was my shoulder, and he showed how the real issue was emanating from my neck by conducting a series of tests and showing me a very obvious compressed disc on my x-ray. I am always wary of services that want you to come back over-and-over again as part of their business model - can you trust them or not? That said, I found myself educated and found the staff to be trustworthy at HIH. Carol took the time to explain exactly how my insurance benefits would calculate out in terms of my out-of-pocket costs, which was a great benefit. I look forward to completing my treatment plan with Dr. Will and HIH.

After experiencing frequent/daily migraines, I decided to visit Hoboken Integrated Healthcare for a consultation. I started seeing Dr. Stimmel and Virgina Kelly for adjustments and acupuncture. Mixing these two methodologies have helped me experience relief more than any medicine could! Everyone in this office including support staff (Raquel and Darwin) is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. I highly recommend going to this office due to the integrated approaches that they use.

I have been a patient at Hoboken Integrated for a couple of years now. I have had various injuries with both of my shoulders, my wrist, and my TMJ (jaw). Every injury was treated carefully and persistently. Every staff member at Hoboken Integrated is friendly, professional, and educated in the field that they are in. I am happy to say that ever since Ive been a patient there, I am no longer in pain and feel stronger than I have felt in a long time. I definitely recommend this place for Chiropractic work, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, and massage therapy.

Wanted to add on to my previous review (in parenthesis)! I wrote the below after just a few short weeks! NOW its been a year of treatment and I couldnt be happier. The staff here is amazing - i walk in and i NEVER wait! They even call me weekly to check up especially if i havent made a follow up appointment. I usually start with a session of acupuncture followed by adjustments with the Dr. If you have ANY type of pain or discomfort, i truly recommend coming here. I come 3x a week to be treated for back pain as well as stomach discomfort. It truly is the only remedy that has worked for me. I love it here and i highly recommend coming :)****(ive been coming here for a few weeks now for back pain. the staff is amazing! I get treated by the chiropractor, PT and acupuncturist and my pain has already decreased. the office is efficient and the staff is super knowledgable. you wont regret coming here!)

I am so glad I found this office. My old back injury had flared up again and when I first started coming here I could barely walk or move without pain. I love that the doctor explained everything in detail and made sure I really understood what the reason was for my pain and the plan to help me feel better. Its only been about a month and I am already having days with zero pain. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help and answer any questions. I could never thank them enough for getting me on the road to no more back pain.

Ive been going to Hoboken Integrated Healthcare on & off since September 2018 for what was initially a herniated disc. The staff here is fantastic! When I first came in I could barely stand up straight but after a couple weeks I was back to all normal activities. I had many different conditions that were diagnosed as psychosomatic, since there was nothing wrong with me. Yet, the pain and discomfort persisted. I was recommended to try acupuncture, but I was needle phobic. I decided to give this a change and to my amazement, it was not only painless, but actually relaxing. Nothing overwhelming, waiting area has a very inviting atmosphere that feels like youre in your own living room with magazines, coat racks, free coffee, water and reading lamps.I received chiropractic treatment, and there was a very clear step by step process, in which I was informed of what was being done and why. Started off with a simple examination and x-rays. My questions were then answered and a manageable treatment plan was laid out for me. The staff always makes sure the treatment is not only done properly but also double check that youre comfortable and will adjust anything such as temperature or pressure if needed.Its very easy to schedule evening appointments, and the office is conveniently located near the Hoboken PATH station, so its perfect for attending after work in the city.Highly recommend for anyone seeking treatment for back/neck/shoulder discomfort!
