Great place for families. I love that I get to work out and my kids are taken care during activities or a workout . The pool is inside which is amazing .

We went two days in a row and although our children enjoyed it for the most part they are very strict. Almost to strict to have fun. Also one day they charged us $22 then the next day claimed it was a mistake and charged us $34. One day my son was allowed to go down the slide, then the very next day they wouldn’t let him. Also, you aren’t allowed to sit beside the pool and watch your kids swim, you are made to be in the water with them. My son was wearing a life vest one day the lady wouldn’t let him be in the pool with it, then the next day there was a little boy with a vest on in there for over an hour, I watched to see if they would make him get out and they didn’t. They use ALOT of chlorine in the water, our eyes were burning. They need to get everyone on the same page and enforcing the same rules. Like I said, cool place and all but if you go be prepared.

Loved this place. We spent almost a year in the area and so glad we were able to join and keep active. My son enjoyed Kids Fit and making new friends. The staff was some of the best!

What a fabulous place! Everyone in the community should be able to find something to do as an activity there. Very impressed. I wish we had place like this where I live.

Cheap place to let kids run some energy out

Awesome place to have fun when the weather is cool. We only did the swimming park area and my kids had a blast! We plan on coming back soon !

Recently visited CORE at Hobbs. Absolutely wonderful. Two indoor pools. Tennis, volleyball, and soccer courts!

Venue is super clean and children-safe. It was a wonderful experience especially the therapy pool where you can just stay in slightly warm pool with water jets for more relaxation. 👍

Great gym, excellent facilities. Cant wait until everything is open finally. Only every other machine can be used, the pool is closed, but all that is understandable. This is a super great gym.

I loved going today but I was a bit sad because the splash part of the pools was closed.

CORE is a gorgeois state-of-the-art physical activity center in Hobbs. Staff is energetic, friendly and keeping us safe.

Overall concept is great. I do have an issue with the pool. Ice cold...my 4yo lips turn blue and his body temperature drops while at swim. I hate getting in the pool because of how cold it is and over treated. Chemicals in the pool are way too much. Not making it a fun experience as a family as I would rather go to an outdoor pool (they are warmer than this pool).

Very poor experience . . I will actually be taking things further by contacting the city directly with other means. The staff is upmost rude and incompetent in customer service. The pools are over treated with chemicals and caused my asthma to kick in. When we told a life guard about grown men in the spa pool openly using the M...F.... word they didnt care to respond. As a pool operator/ pool owner both my wife and I know when a pool is not balanced correctly or over treated. In effort to enjoy the facility we went to play in the CORE Play area, however my daughter who is 4 1/2 was told she could not play on the playground equipment because she was not 5. The manufacturer states its designed for children 5 and above but no where does it state you MUST 5 years old. What does age 5 have to do with my daughters ability to play and take part in this activity? Also what is the point of signing a liability release if I am supervising my own child? When I asked for a refund, it was refused. However, I am escalating matters to a much higher level.As a visitor to Hobbs I can say I am very disappointed in the culture and experience. I will be following up with a discriminatory complaint as well.

Best gym in Hobbs.

This place was awesome and exceeded my expectations! The facility was absolutely gianormous and had every recreational activity that a person could want under its well designed roof. Although the pool was a little cold, the locker rooms were spotless. The employees were friendly and admittance fees very reasonable. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone who may be in Hobbs NM and able to check it out 👍👍

Great place for a days fun for the kids, 2 pools 1 with a big slide, 1 traditional pool, big play ground for the little ones. Clean and friendly staff.

Sad that its closed during quarantine but I guess its for the best. Hope you open up again soon!

The center is truly a work of art. The pools are amazing. That being said the staff there are very rude for the most part. There are very few that are polite. Their lifeguards play favorites to their friends. Allowing their friends to do stuff that the rest of the people cannot do and for good reason. Watch your children closely around the diving boards because the lifeguards allow their friends to do whatever they want and have almost jumped on my children who had just jumped from the diving board. If the lifeguards actually had everyone follow the rules this place would definitely be 5 stars. Safety should always be the first priority.

I was amazed at how beautiful and big the decor was plenty of activities going on all at the same time play some supervision for all the children under age there and it activities and events to take up their energy and time in a positive way. Coaches staff all very friendly outgoing and ready to help and assist. Will return to the core again and again excellent experience.

I love CORE and its set up. The pools are very nice and the facility is clean. Only complaint I have is almost every visit we made to the location we had there was a group of unruly kids that were loud and causing some minor trouble. The kids play area is great for the smaller kids. The kids water feature is a great part of the place.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool area. I loved swimming, but the left with a head ache do to the heavy smell of Clorox. Other than that our experience was awesome.

Well equipped and designed. Well trained and personable staff. Truly impressed by the story of the conversation from the private sector to build this facility. If you utilize this facility properly, its well worth the cost of the membership.

It is really sad jow 3 days after paying for membership Im denied entrance. I have my personal belongings i would like to retrieve. Cant even get my things! So disgusted with the service of this place.

This place is a Major upgrade for hobbs residents. Almost like a fitness heaven or just fun and healthy all around. Very nice...😎😎

AMAZING! A little something for everyone to do. 3 pools, Olympic, splash pool and therapy pool. Olympic pool has lanes, diving boards, and basketball hoops. Splash pool has a small lazy river, body slide, tube chute, and hot tub. Workout equipment is new and really cool! Courts for volleyball, basketball and pickleball. The jungle gym is HUGE and fun! Definitely a must-go in Hobbs!

Great facility! First competitive swim meet held Saturday with 8 teams from SE New Mexico and West Texas participating. Amanda Byers and her team of Eagles did a great job.

Top class equipment, Excellent price, Well maintained so far, and good people working there. It’s a bargain for what they offer. Still, I feel like they’re missing a sauna/steam.

The CORE is definitely a great deal. Its an amazing addition to Hobbs, and Im very happy it got built. Its definitely not perfect, but its really good.

They keep to the rules and were nice and helpful with every thing we asked. They gave a few tips about the ice cream vending machine which seems to not work most of the time. Luckily it didn’t take our money and just scanned it but beware of the machine.

An out of Hobbs experience!! What a compliment to our growing city. Everything you need to be active. Relevant and creative. It gives you something to do other than the “go to the movies or bowling.” Great staff!!!

I put my daughter in the swimming lessons they offer and she loved them! The jungle gym is also amazing for the older kids.

I love taking my kids here and it’s a wonderful place for them to get out energy and play and they love it. The only thing I hate about it is that there are older kids on the playground without adult supervision and they talk dirty to the little kids and talk about doing drugs also. Please fix this problem, I don’t wanna stop going because of issues like that.

I love the core its better than any gym I been to.

It is really cool how they built and all year round pool for everyone. The pools are really nice and I love how they added in a dive in movie at the end of every month!

Modern and affordable. A beautiful place to have fun and work out. Super impressed with this place!

No security. Too many issues with teens going here to hook up in the private changing rooms together. This is also dangerous for children going to the restroom. A child was nearly violated a few weeks ago. We canceled our membership and advise watching your children closely. Be careful swimming the water was always freezing and people were getting pink eye. The kid watch had lice and hand, foot , mouth disease few months ago.

Fantastic place. I hope they get that second pong pong table out for use soon. It had been a month or more with just one and it is always busy.

Not a good experience. Was on the treadmii and was curious about one of the buttons and the thing took off super fast and i fell messed up my knee and ankle and got rubber burns on my shin, ankle and knee. THERE NEEDS TO BE STAFF ON THAT AREA AT ALL TIMES FOR SUPERVISION AND INSTRUCTIONS. Before my incident there was a eldery man on the tredmills too. What if it had been him and no one around.

I really like this place except for their policy in the pool .. I understabd there are rules but my son didnt meet the 48 due to he has Autism and is little people(dwarf however you want to call that)and Amanda and one of her pool manager dont even bother to see the diagnost in hand ,to prove he was old enough 7 yrs old almost 8 yrs.really rude ...thanks God most of the staff there is kind abd human ..but those two just ruin my son day ..they should get a class about autism and manners to talk to people.

The place is awesome!!!!!the water is warm an the service is great we paid for a membership for only 11dollars a month for both me and my dad it is very fun and I highly recommend it for kids and parents it is a place to meet new freinds and run into some old ones to kids can have fun and parents can have alone time exercising or running so go to the CORE and have a blast😱🤗

The staff have a very refreshing way of addressing members, and issues. I love the facility along with the health and wellness lifestyle it promotes.
