Dottie is pure awesome sauce. She kind, professional and reliable. She does an amazing job. Im surprised no one has offered her 100k salary to work for them as their personal personal massage therapist.Brandi is really sweet and does a very good job. People want to go to sleep afterwards. Who needs nyquil?!

I think her name was Dottie. She was AMAZING! Just by speaking with her, I could tell she was very knowledgeable and her bedside manners are stupendous! She was very considerate during massage; made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I would totally recommend this place to anyone. Small FYI: The parking is a little tight, especially for trucks, but that’s the only downside. Already made another appointment!

Last time I went was in 2016. I loved it then. I love it now. I just neglected my well being and this come around its fhs best thing that I can do for myself. The staff is amazing. Completely recommend Muscle Therapy Center

You will not find a group of massage therapist that will take better care of you. These women are always cheerful and polite thank you Ladies keep up the hard work. Its very clean and smells like a resort. Many rooms and hands ready to help you unwind 1.5 hrs is all you need!!

Lady didnt tell me to drink water (or any pointers, tips, advice, or help although she knew it was my first massage) after my massage it was so very painful, and she kept talking about her family. I thought I was getting a good birthday present but I guess not after all.

Great, comfortable facility, friendly staff and the best massages always. Too bad I live 1800 miles away but I always look forward to my trips to Hobbs and my appointments with the Muscle Therapy Center.

Life Changing!I would like to say that I have learned so much from Jackie Martin, the owner of MTC and the MTC staff. I am a student who has just graduated from the School of Massage at MTC and have had a amazing experience. Jackie was my main instructor and she is a person with a heart of gold! She and the staff have taught me so many things...and have helped me along the way so that I understand what I am doing. I am so thankful to have had this experience in my life and learn about the body.Previous to my education at MTC, I had been a client there three times to three different therapists. Everyone at MTC is very nice and caring. The massages I have had here are truly healing and invigorating. I highly recommend the staff if you are searching for a massage or other spa service!I would just like to say thanks again MTC for all the help and support in my health and education. You all are the best!

On Sept. 18, I had an hour massage at Muscle Therapy Center/Day Spa. The water bag leaked over half the bed, yet I was charged for the entire amount, including $10 for the water bag. I called for the manager or owner 2 days later on Sept. 20. Neither was present per the receptionist, so I left a msg for one of them to call me. No one called. Over the past 2 months I called 5 times total. I was told that Jackie was the owner, so I began leaving messages for her. I was told another time that Jackie was having serious family medical issues. I felt bad & decided to be patient & give her ample time to recover from those issues, so more time went by. My concern would later come back to be used against me when I finally did speak with the office manager.I left a final message on an answering machine on Nov 27 @1:45pm Michelle Shaw, ofc mgr, called me back 3 hrs later.The phone conversation that ensued was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Im in marketing/management by profession & what I experienced was almost unbelievable. Michelle was defensive from the beginning. Nonetheless, I explained what happened. She stated that the best she could do was to give me 10% off on my next massage. I told her I did not feel comfortable coming back to her establishment. She said there would be no refunds at all, not even for the water pack, which broke mid-way through the massage. She then became very accusatory and said I should not have waited so long to call. I explained that I called the same week of the massage, actually 2 days later, and 4 times since then but to no avail. She then asked why didnt you come by in person? I explained that I am busy & before I could add my next statement, she cut in & said very sarcastically, Well you had time to come in for a massage, didnt you? I couldnt believe the defensiveness. I felt like I was on trial. The comment I was going to add was that if the person I need to talk to is not there when I call, what good would stopping by do? The final blow came when Michelle continued to cut me off while I was trying to explain that the time lapse was solely due to the MTC staff. I have proof of my calls (cell phone log & knowledge of the owners name & family medical.problems, which Michelle did verify was the case) This did not matter to Michelle because she continued repeating that I had waited too long to call. She seemed frustrated and angry & then stated Im withdrawing my offer. Youre not even getting the 10% off your next massage. I then heard a voice in the background say, thats right, not now youre not. Then Michelle hung up on me. It felt like a scene from high school where youre put on speaker phone with a bunch of immature teenagers, as opposed to a professional business. Upon analyzing the situation & conversation, I think what may have been the case is that a number of people were afraid of getting into trouble. The masseuse, the staff I left numerous messages with, & perhaps the manager herself. The defensiveness, the immediate reasons why they couldnt work on a solution, the accusations of why I was wrong all point to something amiss. Im guessing that the owner Jackie doesnt even know about this situation, because I highly doubt she would want her business run in such a manner. There is the possibility that Jackie does know abt this situation. If that is the case, then I would expect her to contact me & make things right. And if this happens, I will update my review. Whether she is privy to the situation or not, perhaps this review will at least send a message to MTC that you cant treat others so poorly and expect business in return. Word of mouth advertising is the best way to obtain clients...or to loose them. When problems occur, you handle them professionally, amiably, and seek resolution & understanding. Sadly, this was not the case with me. I received the complete opposite - rude & unprofessional treatment.
