I cant say enough about Double J. Here three weeks ago I was up since 2am with my dog who was having trouble breathing and it was only getting worse. I knew our regular vet did not open until 8am. As soon as it was 8 I took her there and was treated very rudely and told the vet was not in that day. When asked what I should do I was told If you think she can make it take her to Seminole or Andrews. Well, she would not have made it. I barely got her to Double J. They quickly rushed out and took her. They intubated her and started treating her right away. They were so professional and fast acting. My dog ended up staying there for 3 days. The staff called me twice a day to keep me up to speed on her progress. When she was discharged home they called 2 days later to make sure she was still doing well. Thanks to them I still have my sweet dog.

If I could possibly give a zero stars I would. This has possibly been the worst experience with a vet I could possibly have. My doggies are my babies, and never and when I say never I mean honestly I have never dealt with the worst possible customer treatment ever. I dropped my Chula off at 10 am and was told that I would hear back from someone after an hour or so after they did x-rays on her leg she jumped off a chair and broke it. Well 4 hours later I havent heard anything so naturally I decide to call because of course thats my baby and Im worried. So I finally get ahold of someone (Serena)after 2 hours later just so they can tell me that the doctor never made it in to see her and that she does have a broken leg. Wow that long I could of made the decision to take her to a different vet if I would have been given the option. Never again though. Then the girl was rude to the point of saying well next time dont bring her here then. Oh you best believe I will never bring any of my fur babies to yall and will never recommend this vet clinic to anyone!!! Oh and I still got charged $500+ for her NOT seeing the vet!!!

I have been using Double J ever since they opened and have ALWAYS been happy with the services theyve provided for my fur babies. Most recently I called Double J regarding a mass on my dogs tail. They were able to get him an appointment very quickly. Dr. Justice examined the mass and clearly went over all of our options for treatment. He helped me choose the best course of action for my dog. They were able to get the procedure done in just about an hour, along with a medication refill, and nail trim. The staff was friendly and helpful.Thank you Double J!!!

$6000 later and my dog died. I’ve had multiple healthy dogs die while on the table here. All they care about is the money.

Poppy was hurting, already lost two dogs to cancer and thought it was happening again when she totally changed in behaviour, eating, drinking and sleeping for the past few days.No appointment, just a walk in / curbside service. Vet tech was excellent I appreciated his demeanor and care of Poppy.Luckily nothing serious just need some rest and close attention when with her playmate so they dont play. They love chasing each other or charging playing bull and matador.Seen some good and some spiteful reviews, walk a day, week or month in their shoes and appreciate the work they do to care for our fur babies.

I love Double J because Dr Kyra and Dr Justice are so professional and kind. I love the techs because they really care about the welfare of our animals. I feel like they are well educated about animal care and even through the Covid have managed to make the environment warm and caring. I know they go above and beyond and I am grateful to all of them. Id like to give a special shout out to Will for his kindness when we lost of our precious little ones.

They always call and give me updates during the day if I have a sick pet with them. When we go out of town and we board our pets there, they always come back home super happy a smelling great. They are always happy to answer any questions I have. Even if our pets are home and I’m concerned about something or have a question in general. All of the staffers are very sweet and really take the time to make you feel like you and pets are welcome any time and never just rush you out of the door. I’ll never change from Double J’s!

I couldnt be happier with the care you guys give our babies. You seem to love them as much as we do. I trust in everything the vet and vet techs tell me because ,just like i do, you guys have their best interest in mind. Thank-you im so glad I switched.

I called this morning being Monday May 28th, 2021.Ask to get an appointment for a small Chihuahua that I felt like had a foreign body in its throat and was told that the best they could do was get me in next Friday to see if the dog has a foreign body . I was very upset told this was the best place to take your animals...

Killed my dog after failing to watch him after surgery. The next day when they informed me they still laughed in my face without a car in the world. My dog is a healthy one year old dog. They called me after his surgery that he was awake and doing well but suddenly the next morning he was dead ? They open at 9 but they called me at 7am, meaning that they went in that morning and seen that he was dead because they failed to watch him and take care of his vitals for any complications after surgeries. Please if you ive your dogs don’t go here. It is very unprofessional and they don’t care about their patients only about making money. Just because their facilities look nice does not mean they are the best in town. Even after they killed out dog they still charged us more.Please dont take your dogs here listen to me.

We have boarded our dog here about 5 to 6 times over the past 18 months seems to be a great place. Only issue we had is if you don’t ask they are extra charges at times without them telling you. Our last boarding we were charged an extra $48 due to her being on medication when we dropped off that was not explained to us.

My family and I have gone to other vets for our fur babies, but double j has been the absolute best!! My emotional support fur baby got really sick a couple years ago and the doctors at Doube J were the best. They called me with updates regularly, treated my baby like a member of the family and not just an animal, and they let me visit her regularly during her recovery. I highly recommend taking your fur babies here!

Due to Covid19 I was worried about the wait time but, I was able to get my dog in right away. They were professional and polite. My dog is anxious at the Vet in general, so the fact they allowed me to walk with her to the door meant a great deal to me. It also helped I was able to pay from the comfort of my vehicle. I was impressed by the efficiency of their new social distancing model.

They let me know that Jeff (my cat) should get his liver checked because of a medication he takes. I am glad they did because his levels were out of whack, and they were able to give me medication to remedy that. They are very good at letting you know of blood work that needs to happen because of meds when you are refilling them. The process was professional, and I had results back within an hour of having the blood draw. They were caring and knowledgeable as always. Big thumbs up.

Use them for all our pets. Can not think of a more caring group of people. Could not reccomend them enough!!!

They took great care of our puppy and the communication was excellent throughout his surgery and overnight stays! I highly recommend Double J!

We have been taking our dogs to Double J for a few years now. While they are on the more expensive side, I know that our furry family members are getting the best care there. Our dogs teeth are the cleanest they have ever been after the cleaning she had done.I would recommend Double J to anyone!

Had a dog in pain and needed him examined. First person to call me was a business manager who wanted $1000.00 CASH up front. Had the money but not in cash like THEY wanted. All about the money. They don’t care about your pet!

Can you give someone a negative - I had been going there since they opened all of sudden their PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE is not prescription on top of giving my dog medicine that after the first shot expired in 28 days so the March to May every weekend treatment was only good for 4 weeks top then you are giving my dogs shots for what it clearly stated on the medicine use within 28 days......so you hurting my dog for MONEY on top of bladder stones that disappeared in 3 weeks on a cranberry pill their prices are outrageous and x-rays and lab tests are for no reason how many times have you hurt my dog to line your pockets you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Got my hydrocephalus dogs meds on track. Has been caring and compassionate to my babies and me. Both dr mark & dr kyra know what theyre doing. Id give a 10 star rating if i could.

Dishonest with pricing. They quoted me a price and added $100 when I picked up my dogs. When I questioned it, they said I didnt give them a shot record & gave my dogs shots they already had. Lies, because I emailed the shot record and I proved it. Only then did they remove the extra charges. You will not stay in business by lying to people. People are smarter than you think and we always have options!

Shout out to all the Double J staff. Thank you for everything you have done for all of my beloved animals. Horses, dogs, and cats. Everytime I visit they are taken care of with the uter most respect. My animals are well taken care of and get the treatment they need from all the staff members. From setting up appiontments to surgeries and unfortunately departures.

About two weeks ago I had a mama dog turn on her litter. I rushed the pups to double J where they took them in for treatment and check up. That afternoon when I went to pick them up one puppy was obviously injured and was given medicine to take home. He was flailing about and unable to even sit without falling over. He still cannot sit without falling over and most likely need to be put down. Understandably that is not their fault and we knew he had a 50-50 chance.However, I paid for medicine, the visit, and x-rays. I also told them a good budget to which they only used half of. They told me the rest of the puppies were perfectly fine and to watch the one. Within 48 hrs another died for seemingly no reason. There were several calls and text to try and follow up from double J. however when I spoke with them I asked to quit being contacted and let them know that another puppy died.Now a week or so later their eyes are opening and very clearly another is injured. She has no eyeball on one side, the mother must’ve bit it and punctured it as it’s just red tissue.Now mind you I’ve worked and trained as a vet tech, but moved on to other things at this point. I have never heard of what happened next.This morning I called to try and get the two puppies in, the one with the eye and the one that is still flailing about with no balance. I have been bottlefeeding and administering the medicine as instructed.First I was told they couldn’t see us until 8/10.When I told the receptionist the issue she got me a vet tech.I explain the situation and asked if we could be in sooner. After a short hold I was informed the new vet, Kyra, would not see us due to my complaint the last time i talked to someone.Now I have not yelled or gotten indignant with anyone. I have voiced my frustrations over the situation. I originally intended them to keep the injured pups to make sure they were okay but after reassurances was sent home. Then bam one dies, one doesn’t get any better, and another is in fact injured as well.Now due to COVID I wasn’t shown the x-rays I paid for or allowed to talk to the vet directly so I honestly have no idea what happened inside. I have no idea what the actual injuries were to any pups. I feel very brushed off. And NOW I’m refused service.So thank you Double J! I will indeed go back to my regular vet ANDREWS VET CLINIC. Who was very nice and ready to see us immediately. They also charge 1/2 what you charge AND I get to speak to the vet about options for the 2. We will never darken your doorstep again and urge others just to make the drive or really just go elsewhere.COVID is no excuse for subpar services. We went to you due to having a newborn and trying to avoid the hour trip. However, to add to things when I was told the pups were ready for pick up I came at the designated time and called upon arrival. I sat so long that my cars AC couldn’t keep up and the baby and I ended up sweating it out for over 30 minutes. When I called to make sure they knew what vehicle I was they assured me they already knew and I proceeded to wait even longer.Half a star. Clean environment, nice staff but Unprofessional and seriously lacking.Not sure if this can be reported to the veterinary board but I’ll be sending them something either way.Refusal of service because someone was irritated due to lack of care. Smh.***After I made this review on FB they had others go make positive reviews to bump mine down. Shady people!!!

This veterinarian understands our needs and is able to pick up on our concerns. We love Double J and cant envision using any other veterinarian for our family.

We were in town for the weekend when our fur baby was injured after hours. Of the 4 vets in town we called, 2 would not even see us & 1 never called back, only Double J called. Kelsey was so sweet & helpful. The vet met us there in an hour & had our precious girl sewed up & back in our arms in no time. The fee was so reasonable I couldnt believe it. They took excellent care of both of us during a frightening situation. THANK YOU!!!!

Great care for all of my animals. My only comment that would improve service is to be open during lunch hour so I can get prescription refills. i have called and left message with answering service several times to have prescriptions refilled and either the message isnt delivered or I am not called back.

Every time I take my dog max to get a checkup or shots, it’s been a very pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. They even call days later to check up on max making sure everything is good.

Full time RVers. We have 4 dogs. Traveled all over the country and found them to be the best we have ever been to. If you love your pets we highly recommend them. I only was able to have their service for a year before I moved away in 2016. I been searching for a vet that even compares to Double J. Front the front desk to the dr. Everyone is great. They have set a very high bar for me and my dogs. And nothing has measured up. I miss Double J.

Hands down the most expensive veterinary office Ive been to - anywhere. Its a beautiful facility and you certainly pay for the privilege.After you are called from the reception area they take you and your animal to an exam room - but - when your animal is treated, they take your pet to another area out of your sight while your animal is treated - I was very uncomfortable with that practice.10/1/18 - My cat had a UTI - 1st visit he was tested and given antibiotics. $371.70.11/28/18 - 2nd UTI he was tested again, received antibiotics and told to change his food to Hills Science Diet via subscription to keep his UTIs at bay. $330.03.Two visits - $700!On the second visit I was given a cranberry solution for my cats UTI and charged $44.60 included in the $330.03 charge. I found the same cranberry solution on Amazon for $28.95.I bought Hills Science Diet from the Double J for about $130. I decided to order from Chewy but Double J charged me $21 to write a prescription for Chewy - which basically absorbed any savings on food I would have gained going through Chewy. Every month I was charged $21 fees for writing a subscription to Chewy. There was no point in using Chewy because after paying the prescription fees to Double J, there was no benefit using Chewy except food was delivered to my door. Needless to say, Ive changed veterinarian.

Dr. Mark and his staff at Double J are amazing! They have the utmost respect for you and your pet and treat you both like family. I have seen a lot of vets over the years an none can compare to those at Double J. They truly believe that pets are family members and it shows in the care they provide.

Our ferret had been unresponsive and foaming at the mouth and we called for an emergency vet and they had said there was no doctor in until tommorow and it would cost over $200.

I had to put my baby boy down yesterday on a sunday and they were so comforting they gave me time with him before and i got to hold him during and the let me take my time after they even provided me with this amazing impression of his beautiful paw nothing will ease the pain but they helped me realize my decision was best for him

If your from out of town, make sure to check your dogs records good. Otherwise theyll give your dogs shots they dont need. I went in Feb for a check up, and my dogs didnt need updated shots till July.

I had my dog Gizmo cremated here and I was told that I would get a paw print keepsake so when I picked up the remains I was shocked not to see anything of the sort! I called and they had me hold and spoke with the technician who took care of my Gizmo and they told me that because he was “frozen” because I had to put him on ice they didn’t do a paw print. That’s messed up

They have always been so nice. They explain things very well and obviously care about animals. They have always been so gentle.

Beautiful facility and friendly staff, but I cant recommend them. We took 4 rescues there after calling for an appt. We were told no appts were available, but walk-ins were welcome until 3. We waited over 2 hours with 4 sick puppies. Was told there were no available puppy rooms, in spite of the fact that not a single puppy was there in the 2+ hours we waited. An assistant finally helped us. Not once did the doc peek in and check on us. Tests were run and we left there over $500 poorer and no clear indication of their condition. Was promised a phone call of the results on Friday. Never came. And plz dont say you called. I have phone records to prove it didnt happen. Took them to a different vet on Monday morning. Its distemper. We wont be back to Double J. ***Edit*** Just got a well check call from Double J (this is Monday afternoon). Apparently, the reason they havent called with the test results is that they havent received them. Im still disappointed, but Ive upped my rating to 2 stars.

3 different visits...first time around an 1 1/2 hour wait...2nd visit around an hour wait...3rd visit its been over an hour and still waiting. When i called i was never given the option of an appoontment...i was told walk in hours. My suggestion...make sure you have time.

Double J allowed me to drop my dog off after the walk in time frame for a drop off appointment. This was very helpful!!

Double J is not my veterinarian but Ive personally done business with them and everyone in town told me how great of a group they were and they did not disappoint, Ive had nothing but the best business experience with Double J, if they treat me like this I know this is how they treat their patients, no debate in the fact you should choose them!

Took our 11 year old baby in for a tooth cleaning and got back a terribly ill dog that died a couple days later and I cant get ANYONE there to tell me what happened!! HOW???!?! HOW DOES A DOG DIE FROM GETTING HER TEETH CLEANED IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT????????
