The staff at Brentwood have all been very kind, polite and seem to like where they work and what they do. The facility impressed me immediately upon entry. It is clean, bright and smells nice and clean. The apartments are the perfect size and my Mother loves living there so far. The other tenants seem to love living there as well which speaks volumes for how they are being treated and taken care of. Would definitely recommend Brentwood to others for their elderly loved ones.

When I first walked in to Brentwood at Hobart, I was amazed at the homelike feeling I had. Residents and staff greet you when you walk in and make you feel right at home. The team at this community is dedicated to ensuring the residents come first. The community is clean, the caregivers are excellent, there are activities for everyone, and the food is so good! I would highly recommend this community to anyone!

Ever since it was taken over by a new management company the place has gone down hill. The food is awful. Today on fathers day they served burnt scalloped potatoes with 5 small cubes of ham. The potatoes were very dry. They do not fix anything in the apartments. There have been complaints about leaking toilets, faucets, housekeeping not being done for weeks. The activities are not that great. There are activities that are not on the schedule. They have raised the rent and provide less. They should not have let Joyful go. She cared about the residents. The new administration that came in did not and does not. I was told if you dont like it then leave. That was very unprofessional. This place needs a huge makeover. The residents deserve a whole lot better.

Of all places I have visited regarding catering to the needs of our seasoned individuals, Brentwood has proven to be the best facility when it comes to meeting the needs of its residents. from providing multiple events and activities within the facility to providing options for outings giving the residents a choice of a brief means of escape from daily routines, which ranges from shopping at various stores to leisure encounters such as movie theaters and many other outing options in between. Brentwood also contains some of the best in-house caregiving services anyone can find no need to come out of pocket to keep the residents with the best health possible unless you choose because it will provide the best service the health care needs with the addition of having a clean environment due to top-notch housekeeping. Furthermore numerous amenities are available to all Brentwood residents as well if he/she desires to do any shopping without going too far away from the community. Overall, Brentwood of Hobart will not disappoint when it comes to meeting the needs of his residence so that the residents can continue to enjoy life and live comfortably

To much turnover in staff and administration. My Mom hardly receives the basic care she pays for and they just want more money. Why is it too hard for the staff to put a pillow under her head when she leans forward and falls asleep on a hard wooden table? Is it too much for them to brush here hair in the morning? or take proper care of her dentures and put them in in the mornings and take them out at night? Or to wash her hair when a family member asks them to? Treat my Mom the way you would want your Mom or Dad to be treated. This should all come under basic grooming which she is charged for every month. Other issues as well . . .

I would not recommend this place for no one! Management is very unprofessional, and rude. My friends mom was there and no one rarely check up on her. Poor lady!!! The upstairs floor smells so horrible at times.

There turn over is crazy they do not take care of the them like they should they just ignore the problems they have the nurses are no good and I watch the CNA be right there in front of them as they fall out there wheel chairs.. I would never recommend anyone to put there family member in brentwood.. there so many other great place and this isnt one of them...

The community used to be nice three years ago but have gone downhill under new management. I pulled my mother-in-law out a year ago because of their terrible meals. She is a diabetic and yet they were serving her terribly heavy carb meals, making her blood sugar really soar. Over two years we asked them to fix this. We got assurances it would improve but it never did. Because of it, she lost the vision in one eye. We took her out before she became completely blind. After I took her out, I restored her to healthy blood sugar and saved the second eye within three months. Considering 60% of elder people are diabetic, this is a terrible situation for an assisted living facility.
