I had a terrible experience with doctor Nitta. The staff seemed very inexperienced and young and also barely paid attention to me. There was a long waiting time and not a welcoming vibe at all. When I got in for my ultrasound appointment I had to wait in the room for an hour only for him to come in briefly, demand my legs open then proceeded the ultrasound but gave me no insight on what was going on in my body. I left feeling extremely disturbed and wouldn’t want any other women to experience this.

Does anyone know if nitta does reversal tube for pregnancy i used to go to dr nitta 16 years and 14 year

Dr.nitta & his staff are the best!! Nurses care about their patients. & dr.nitta is on it with everything. Been with him for 12 years now! He delivered all 5 of my kiddos! ❤️

After reading some reviews I can tell that people are getting the wrong impression of Dr Nita. He is very straight forward and will not sugar coat things so if you’re looking for a doctor to hold your hand than see someone else. But if you’re looking for a doctor who has decades of experience and WILL get whatever job done right that needs to be done, then see Dr Nita. He did my surgery quickly and efficiently and I woke up in no pain whatsoever. He will not prescribe pain meds (at least back when I had my surgery) bc he’s one of the only doctors that understands how addicting those pain meds are and how many people end up abusing them. Hilo is lucky to have dr Nita

November 2020 I woke up in excruciating pain, ne thinking is this my appendix? No. Was told by my personal physician go to Hilo medical center, emergency room physician was dismissive and put all his weight on my side to prove it wasnt appendix quickly wrote me a script for pain meds after I told him. Im still in pain and did not want pain meds. Dr. Laughed at me and discharged me. I left in tears, still in pain. Called my personal physician again crying. Was told to drive to Waimea emergency room, so my son drove me to waimea, after patiently arguing with another male physician that told me, I know the Doctor at hilo medical center? I said, so ? Please do an ultrasound cause something is wrong. He said no! You dont need one. He wanted to give me pain meds. I said no, Ill take Tylenol, I asked for another doctor. Long story short, I was granted an ultrasound. Was told my liver levels are elevated, and was asked If I had strained myself? I said no. I told them something is wrong. I do a follow up with my personal physician, Im told I am ok. 4 weeks later Still not feeling good, hurting bad. I call Dr. Nitta,right away i got an appt. Thank God Dr. Nitta was shocked, 5 Days later he cut a mass out of my uterus, after biopsy I am cancer free!! He was floored how long I was dismissed with a very serious medical Issue. I also found out have high blood pressure, One month later I feel so good and blessed doctor Nitta is my doctor. Dr. Nitta doesnt waste time. Dr. Nitta does every test known to man, to rule out anything! He is rude at times cause We as patients try to say what we think it is or want things our way. Nope, he aint got time to sugarcoat a doctors appt. Or give you some staged birth for Instagram...Get in, get checked, if you good be thankful he tells me, no be negative!! Think positive, Dont analyze, thats his job. Lol, my husbands and my family are so thankful he caught the mass before it was something life threatening and C. I love my upfront Dr. Nitta. He has been my only OBGYN almost 30 years. I am well, Im alive, I listen to my Dr. He is ok, if you show some appreciation, as a patient sometime we dont realize how we take, take, take. Give back sometime, pay it forward. (He is only Human.) Super Human in our eyes. For all he does.

He is better than the Dr. I was at got my mammogram and cardiologist appointment faster than my last doctor thorough screenings didnt have to wait for 3 months walk in and walkout. Staff is much caring and smiling than my last doctor.

My wife was sore for two weeks after giving birth to our fourth child. He is a total a**hole to his patients and their partner. Total disregard for patients well being.She never needed to be induced with previous births and no tearing at all. He was so rough with her and it was the most pain experienced from child birth . He wouldnt let me film the birth and I filmed all our kids births previously. Oh and he wanted to schedule the birth because he was so busy. Worst birthing experience Im still mad 20 months later. 😤

He has the worst bedside manner that I have ever met in a person he’s rude to his patients and to his staff. Even my husband who is known to be extremely kind and only ever sees good in people, hated him the day he met him. I’ll never recommend him.

He smells like an astray, very childish and rude on top of being very judgemental:( I wouldnt recommend any women to this doctor. He still hasnt matured mentally and has serious problems. He is as rude as he looks.

Dr nitta is an awesome doctor, he was my pcp and ogyn, hes delivered 5 of my children, i moved back to bigisland each time i found out i was pregnant just to have him as a dr again, because i have grown to trust him and his staff that they will do whats best for me and mines. Him and his staff are a great team, its a comfortable enviorment and easy going he attends to all ur needs and is easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr nitta as one of the best Dr. there is.

Dr. Nitta is a amazing doctor and his staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr nitta is my OB and my PCP. I go to him for every little thing. Poor guy has to see me all the time lol. I couldn’t be more happy and trusting that he’s my doctor. He always properly diagnose my medical conditions. Never had a problem with him or his helpful staff. He’s very caring about His patients. Every time I go to see him I somehow get Scoldings or Lecture and a therapy session all in one lol. Dr nitta is a amazing doctor I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Thank you dr nitta and to his wonderful staff!

Very rude and judgemental. He didnt care to hear what I had to say. I would not recommend him.
