I was sent to Dr. McLeod by my primary doctor so that she could assess the injury to my right foot. Even though I work in healthcare, I still made the typical common mistake and started googling various foot injuries. When I showed up for my appointment at Dr. McLeod‘s office, I had already convinced myself that I would probably have to have surgery on a possible tear on the bottom of my foot.Dr. McLeod determined through her assessment of my right foot that I had torn the plantar plate on my second toe. with complete confidence, she assured me that I would not need surgery providing I wear the brace that I was outfitted with as well as attend physical therapy sessions.The doctor was 100% correct as far as what she explained to me on my recovery and not needing surgery. It did take several months even after physical therapy was complete to be completely pain-free where the tear existed.I would absolutely recommend anybody with any foot issues or injury to see Dr. McLeod.
