Clean ,nice environment near the new conference Hall . Police do frequent stops to assure safety . Park next door w walking or bike riding path .

I work here and Ive seen great things happening in the Western Commons, Washington County Fairgrounds.

Great place. Lots of baseball fields, but Porta Johns are nasty. So, go to the bathroom before you get there. Otherwise, beautifully kept.

Decent fields with close parking. Could use more restrooms, but at least they had one and some outhouses.

Washington county fair 2021

They have allowed for part of the grounds to be used for tents to be set up and used for housing homeless people during the pandemic in one section thats monitored and regulated. Their is also another area designated for houseless people wi RVs, where they can safely park and be safe as well. Its also monitored 24 hrs a day with security. They just ask that you agree to follow a short list of rules to make it safe and comfortable for everyone thats staying there. Its a really great program they have going there right now. Their are so many people that have become homeless during the pandemic and with the fires. The non profit that is running both programs is really great. Theyve done an excellent job with everything and they are eager to give help and resources to anyone in need.

Took our son to the Washington County Fair, the fair was fun but a lot of the people not so much. My husband wore a sun hat that has an American flag theme under the brim and his flag shorts, he served our country, we are in America last I checked, yet the looks we got from people was really disappointing, then when we went and got food the gentleman who rang us up gave my son curly fries that were not cooked, just soaked in oil, and he practically threw our meat at my husband, when we said thank you he just scoffed and walked away. Now Im sorry but if there is a problem with the American Flag in America then that person needs to rethink where they are living.

They allow trans. Travlers to park here for limited stay overs...

Great place to walk your dog and play ball

Tennis courts have big cracks running down 3 out of 4 courts. The lights are very dim and do not illuminate the court enough to play at night. Its easy to tell these courts (and probably the rest of the park) isnt as well maintained as other parks.The park at 53rd Ave is much better and well maintained. However the courts here are often busy.

Place needs lots of work/maintenance. I know it can be a great place but the city/county must take action.

Great lighting and very nicely maintained fields. The Porta pottys could use a bit of cleaning though

We play softball games here and at Hillsboro Stadium (I definitely prefer the latter). The fields are well kept and playable and they are located right off the MAX line. So teams can shuttle it in for games or tournaments. On the other hand, the fields sort of run on to one another meaning you have no idea when one begins and the other ends. There arent any outfield fences so that can be a little tricky for any outfielders. ((( T-REX ROAR )))

Easy to get to. Well designed & maintained. Many great events are held here in addition to the fair.

We used the sports fields for kinder soccer games. The complex is nice. The only bad thing is the parking lot is just a dirt/grass field that does not do very well with any rain. It immediately turns into a muddy, mud puddle filled mess. Wear your mud boots if any chance of rain!

Great place to watch the AIR SHOW every YEAR ?

Pretty cool area. Space for fairs, animal shows, baseball and soccer fields, plus the occasional monster truck rally. Right across from the Hillsboro airport.

We use their softball fields for our league sometimes. I think they are nice enough fields, but minimal places to sit and I wish the dugouts were covered. Parking is easy and easily accessed to the fields.

Awesome place for athletic events. Plenty of parking. Very close to stores for drinks, ice, snacks

I was there for a specific event. It offers enough flexibility to do athletic events or just large get-togethers.

Its winter, the place is empty. In the summer, its a good place to visit and see air shows, motorhome shows and the fair.

Mo bathrooms and only 1 Portapotty, which is disgusting!

Need to update their softball fields. Need shade for the dugouts running water and real bathrooms.

Wish the bathrooms werent locked during evening practices and games.

Will kick you out if you walk around trying catch pokémon.
