I have been coming to mountain view medical center since 2013. Elizabeth has always made sure to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The doctors today forgot about me twice while trying to get blood work going. They didnt take me seriously about how my body is feeling and very much so pushed me away and acted like I shouldnt have even been there. My doctor recommended this appointment due to how sick I am. I will find a new clinic if I am going to be treated with such a level of disrespect. I have never wanted to hurt myself more than after my appointment today. They need to not treat their patients so poorly. I understand youre low staff and tired as well but I am very sick and need someone to take me seriously.

I absolutely love this clinic and my PA, Elizabeth Hughes! She is phenomenal! In all of my 47 years in seeing countless Doctors, I have never found one as caring, understanding, intelligent and amazing as she is. She never ever hesitates in ordering any testing that is needed or in referring me to a specialist. She will not give up in finding the answer when you’re plagued by uncommon symptoms. I appreciate her more than words can express! I can’t imagine anyone ever having anything negative to say about her, and I even hesitate in writing this review for fear word will get out on how incredible Elizabeth is and some other clinic will steal her away! Lol!Take care of her, Mountain View! She’s a rare gem!

This place is great!! Staff always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Tom and his assistants are always there to fully listen and to answer questions. Always follow up with information be such!! Always have openings within a couple of days or sooner if needed. I’m so happy I found this place. We are converting our children there as well now that they are high schoolers and pediatrician retired.

What a disappointment, what a lack of empathy and patient care. After being patient for several years, today I felt that I was worse than a store consumer. So sad. To get a reference for a covid test for travel, I have to pay two appointments, one for me and one for my husband, because it is the policy. I will pay for the test in a private way and it will be cheaper. Two appointments for a referral? Really? A total lack of quality of service and care for being a medical center. My childrens pediatrician at OHSU sent me the referral within an hour, no problem. My recommendation is that you do not go to this place, do not waste your time. It is really a disappointment, I do not recommend it and I will never return.

I went to this clinic nine days ago to treat a bladder infection. They did a urine culture and I was told the results would be out in 2 days and once they determined the bacteria responsible I would get a prescription. I have called 3 times to get my test result and prescription, even told my symptoms have worsened, on one occasion I left a message for the office manger. It is the end of day 9 and I am yet to get a call or explanation about what is going on with test result. I have decided to go to urgent care tomorrow, I think I am better off there. I have never meant with such lack of care from a medical facility before.

I haven’t had a primary doctor in 20 years and I was nervous going in. Dr. Thomas Gray was awesome and I now have peace of mind knowing I have a great doctor to help and motivate me to take better care of myself. The fact that you can communicate directly with the clinic and the doctor via text message without an app or website, is incredibly efficient and amazing for those who appreciate technology.

After seeing the worst doctor EVER (Dr Joseph Resendiz - Stay far far away!!!) my husband was sent for labs and was told Mountain View Medical Center was amazing. I called and made an appointment for my husband and the woman that answered the phone was professional, actually understood what the issue was and recommended Dr Gray.I couldnt go with him to the appointment, and he was super nervous. After the appointment he said that he found his new doctor. Im SO excited. He even got some vaccinations updated and hes super afraid of needles. He was excited that he got silly bandaids.Im SO thankful we were able to find a doctor for him to go to since we arent on the same insurance!

Dr. Thomas C. Gray is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He listens, and is never short or judgmental. He helped diagnose my rare health condition. His kindness and willingness to navigate complicated chronic health conditions is truly appreciated.

Lack of professionalism and empathy from the provider. Waiting 45 to 60 minutes past my appointment time is unacceptable as well. I will give anyone a second chance and they messed that up as well. I will never return and can not recommend. Just about the worst place I have been to.

After recently relocating to the Portland area my husband & I looked for a new primary doctor. We found this one, went to our appointment to be established and really liked the doctor we saw. However we have had nothing but issues from the staff at this clinic so much so I am looking for another doctor. We signed & sent over our forms to have our records released from our other doctor 2 months ago. They kept telling us they sent the release to our old doctors office. After several attempts we thought something was wrong at our old doctors office. So they called Mountain View Medical & were told that we still needed to sign the release. How is it we still need to sign the release when I have the proof we sent that over already & they told us they sent it to our old doctors office several times? So I call them and they suddenly are able to find the release form. They tell me they’ll get it entered in right then (this of course is not what happened) I then ask if they received the records that were mailed from my husbands specialist? These were mailed weeks ago from southern Oregon and they claim not to have those either but my guess is they lost the packet that was send to them in the mail since they can’t seem to stay organized. After this issue and many issues of them not being able to follow through sending over prescriptions or giving us a call back when we call I am no longer interested in going to this doctor.I have even asked to have a manager call me and was promised she would the very next morning. Of course no call but did get a letter they had been trying to contact my husband regarding his health care.. He said they have never once called him, and since we can’t get a call back for anything this letter didn’t make sense.Today my husband took in the letter to ask about it and they gave him a couple different answers of why he got the letter but no one really knew what was going on and he was directed to the Forest Grove office. They also told him we never signed the release forms! I reminded him last week they told me they were going to enter those in right then so that wouldn’t be an issue again. He finally was able to talk to the office manager there who is apparently sorry they can’t get their act together and is working on it and he’ll get a call back tomorrow.Meanwhile I called our old doctors office and told them not to release any records to this office & apologized because I was under the impression they had dropped the ball. I had been with my old doctor for 10 years & never once had an issue of any kind. We’ve been with this doctors office for 2 months and nothing but issues, lies, & disorganization on their part the entire time. The hassle of working with this office & is just not worth it no matter how good of a doctor might here. The suppprt staff just can’t seem to get their act together or get organized enough for me to trust them with my health care. Gave the second star only because we really did like he doctor we saw. Bummer no one can do their jobs here

Dr. Gray is magnificent. My son is generally pretty scared in medical offices but Dr. Gray made him feel so comfortable and safe. I was very pleased with our visit and with how gently he handled my child.

I was late to a doctors appointment due to a car accident on the freeway. I drive in from downtown Portland to hillsboro for these appointments, due to recently moving. I was already in the process of finding a new office in portland but this interaction really confirms my need to get away from this office. I go in and they end up canceling the appointment due to my lateness. Understandable, but I was still upset because of the long commute and having to turn around and go all the way home over an accident that neither of us had control over. It was frustrating. The lady at the front desk was very rude when she was canceling the appointment and honestly treated me like a second class citizen in this scenario. I would have probably been able to walk away mildly upset with a new appointment but the way she talked to me was completely out of line. In response, I told her never mind I will not be scheduling an appointment and I will transfer to someone new. I went to my car feeling so angry at how she treated me and the scenario in general, that I called their offices to figure how to transfer my records and also explained that they honestly come across as uppity and racist. From the interaction with the lady at the front desk, to the woman who assisted on the phone and literally scoffed at me when she transferred me to the office manager, was palpable. I was, at this point, beyond upset and only wanted to talk to this office manager to figure out how to transfer my records and asked them to be sent via email and she refused and was extremely rude. I told her this is all because I honestly didn’t want white uppity racist office staff even having access to my account or records. She literally raised her voice adamantly telling me “that is not true” about the staff. Who is this woman to disregard my entire experience? I raised my voice at that point in reply and told her not to speak to me that way. She literally hung up on me and then proceeded to call me back 2 minutes later to tell me she would call the police on me for harassment. I hung up at that point because I refuse to be threatened by anyone. I have never been so offended by how someone has treated me, essentially only due to the color of my skin, when all I wanted through all of this frustration was to get my records and never go to this office again, for good reason. If you are a person of color, please beware. You very well may end up with gross mistreatment and end up getting hung up on by an office manager when you try to gain access to your personal records.

I found Dr. TJ Gray on google and I am so happy I did. He is a fantastic doctor who takes the time to explain everything in detail, and will answer any questions you might have. He is agreeable to trying new medications to see if one will work (Im diabetic) and you can get in to see in a timely manner. I have been to their Forest Grove office as well as the new one here in Hillsboro. Both places I have received top notch service and, all the staff have been super friendly. I highly recommend Dr. TJ Gray

Dr Erika Horner refuses to give me ANY refills on my blood pressure medication, and it takes over a week for her to actually send in the prescription. Thank you very much for messing with my heart meds and causing super high blood pressure and trips to the Er. And I am tired of them calling me more than 4 times a day. LEAVE ME ALONE! And stop messing with my meds, you terrible doctors.
