I met with Dr Robert Thomas about evaluating my hip and I found him to be caring, informative, open and knowledgeable in answering my questions. He was also very upfront about having a colleague be involved since my hip and leg were going to need extra attention. I found Dr Thomas and Panorama to be trustworthy of my care. My initial appointment was the third time meeting with Dr. Thomas but the first time for my knee issue. The experience my s.o. had getting a hip replacement was so positive I decided to go to him for knee surgery. He was very thorough explaining what my problems are and how he can fix them. I am apprehensive about getting it done but it helps to have complete confidence in the doc doing it. I know Dr Thomas will do the best job possible to keep me active another 20 years.

Dr RobertThomas was recommended by my family physician in 2015 when a revision was needed for a bad hip replacement that another surgeon had installed, one that was never quite right plus it caused metal poisoning. The difference between the two surgeries and recoveries were like night and day. I got through the original surgery.The revision by Dr Thomas was far better than I had anticipated, both the surgery and the recovery. I could tell immediately that the revision was well done, no issues. It was as good as my God-given hip. Dr Thomas took the extra steps needed to make sure that all would go well. For that, I am very grateful.There are now issues with my other God-given hip. Of course I once again decided to go to Dr. Thomas. He takes time to listen and asks questions to better understand what is happening. He doesn’t discount a description of pain (other doctors, other issues, have done so without checking any further), and requests any test needed to get a clear picture of what needs to be done. He also explains why he does a procedure in a specific way. Many doctors don’t do that.In addition, he is also very personable. Of course, that is also important. I trust Dr. Thomas to make the right decisions. Since he fixed my bad hip replacement, he is my hero.Panorama Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center staff are also great. Pleasant atmosphere, knowledgeable, personable and efficient staff that care about the patient. Nothing is rushed. Hopefully, the need to go there will be rare. But if there is a need, this is the place to go.

Dr. Thomas did both my hip and knee replacement surgery in Aug (hip) & November of 2020 and Ive been back playing competitive tennis in late December. He was very thorough, professional and with a good personality but most of all very skilled.

Dr Robert Thomas was the most personable doctor Ive ever dealt with. He took all the time necessary to explain the replacement procedure he will perform on my right knee to the point that I actually decided I would have it done. I had already had the procedure done on my left knee and decided I would not have it done on my right knee because of the pain I experienced in the rehabilitation. But his explanation of his procedure changed my mind.
