This was my first time visiting Tangerine salon and Destiny was my hairdresser. She is so sweet, and understood exactly what I said when I said I wanted layers! It’s been so difficult for me to find someone who knows how to cut layers into curly hair, but her vision and execution was perfect. I even purchased some of the products she used in my hair. The salon is clean and relaxing, I loved it! I can’t wait to start getting regular hair cuts now that I’ve found Tangerine Salon and Destiny. Thanks so much!

Dont go there. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hairdresser. Charged me over 300 dollars and didn’t get what I asked... My hair looks exactly the same as they did before. For this price I expect the hairstylists to know what theyre doing. I feel scammed, wont go there again.

I have been searching for a place to cut and color my hair. Been to several places and was not happy. I came and Destiny cut and colored my hair and did an awesome job. We always talk about what we are going to do before we start and I love that. She takes her time and has done an awesome job. Will be back and will recommend to others.

I have thin fine hair and most of time my haircuts come out looking flat and flimsy after a week. But Katherine T did a great job on my haircut. She took her time to cut my hair. She gave me one of those stylist bob cut and it looks so voluminous. Also, It is very easy for me to style myself. Will be coming back!

This is the only salon I go to now. Destiny is a color genius! She has taken my hair from dark brown to platinum blonde and then was able to pull off a blended rose gold look for the summer that was stunning.

Kat T did my bleach retouch which can be a tricky service! She matched me wonderfully and the toner she used made my hair extra ashy and pretty! She is an excellent stylist!

I have been going to many of Tangerine Salon locations for over a year now and they are all amazing. I have participated in their model days with their apprentices and have had a great experience every time with great results. Everyone I have worked with or came across has been very professional and extremely nice. They have all been great with my daughter when I bring her with me and that is greatly appreciated. Nicki has been very accommodating and great when it comes to getting me in the schedule and has a great personality. Tangerine is a lovely salon and the staff is friendly. They use Aveda products. Stylists are leveled so customers may choose a stylist based on her level of expertise. I love this because it allows the customer to pay for the level of expertise they feel they need. It’s a busy salon so it can take a while to get an appointment and, if you get color, you should expect your stylist of help another client while your color processes. All this would earn Tangerine Salon five stars from me, but I have significantly reduced my rating based on my personal experience with one of the many stylists at Tangerine.I selected a master stylist and visited two times for cut and color. Both cuts were, in my opinion, far from master level. The second cut was so bad that I’ve now had to cut almost five inches off my hair to correct it.**Update** I was contacted by a manager after writing my google review. She offered me several options to remedy the situation. She was very kind and seemed sincere in wanting to ensure that every customer who visits her salon leaves happy. Tangerine earns five stars from me for excellent management, salon atmosphere, quality products and overall customer service. It breaks my heart to leave this salon less than a five star review because I know it’s based on the work of just one stylist. But having to correct a cut and give up so much length still warrants a deduction from me. Three stars.

Ive had Grace as my hair stylist for seven years now - its about time I review her! No matter what color, cut or new look I throw her way, she nails it.She is an absolute artist with blonde hair. & she even did my little sisters hair for her wedding and it turned out absolutely perfect!

I came in and saw Vanessa at the Highland Village location and she was AMAZING! I came in with hair colors that made no sense and she corrected it and did such a beautiful job. The price is extremely fair for the spa like environment and treatment. 10/10 would recommend for balayage or anything!!

If you are new to the area or in a hair rut then go here! I googled top salons and this was one of the salons that came up. Their website caught my attention and I decided to give them a call. Also the cute name and outside. I figured it couldnt hurt and I am really glad I did.The first few times I went, there was this very nice lady at the front. She spoke to me like we were old friends. Very down to earth.If you like people watching, this is a good place for it. Each stylist in their own right is quite good at their craft. I have never left disappointed. I tyr someone new everytime.The salon is full service and their price points are reasonable. They can pretty much fix you up from head to toe :)You should totally go!!!!!!

Even when I haven’t been able to make my schedule work with Annie’s, I have been very pleased with the experiences I’ve had with other stylists at this location. The staff is always so warm and kind and everyone looks on point! It’s the perfect luxurious salon for a price that can’t be beat.

I came in with a bad bleach job/previously dyed hair. My stylist was Heika, and grateful is an understatement! I was in need of major help, and she did just that and more! I was so anxious about damaging my hair further. She understood my concerns and knew just what my hair needed and was very gentle. She is also very sweet and we had such a great conversation. The color is also so beautiful!!! Most definitely going back to her! Couldn’t recommend her any more!!!

The salon was very clean and well-designed. The service was excellent. I received a complimentary coffee while I waited, which was only a 1 minute wait! As well as a mini facial for new clients. Meghan cut my hair and did a fabulous job, she is very detailed and I even scheduled a future appointment with her. I drove from McKinney to Highland Village for my appointment and it was well worth it.

Tangerine Salon is great. I see Alisa and she is the best. Every time I see her I ask her to do something different with my hair color or cut and she gets it perfect every time! She always asks lots of questions along the way to make sure it is what I want, but she also adds in her expert opinion when needed to make sure it will turn out great! Highly recommend!!!

I tend to get myself into some hairy situations (pun intended)- I want to be dark in the fall, light in the spring, pink in the summer (totally normal right?!)I can always count on Alisa to restore the shine, bounce, pep, and color correction to my mane. If you haven’t been blessed by sitting in her chair- make yourself an appointment NOW, she will have you feeling like your best self before departure.

I have been to Tangerine at Highland Village twice, and both times Jillian has dyed, cut, and styled my hair. First the saloon is incredibly clean and well run. I was greeted and helped right away by the receptionist. Jillian did an amazing job on my hair both times! I recommend Tangerine, and especially Jillian!! Great experience both times!

I hate getting my haircut. I was losing my hair like crazy because of hormones and needed it chopped off and cleaned up. Nicki G to the RESCUE! She listened to my concerns about short hair. I have been going to Tangerine-Highland Village regularly (about every 4-6 weeks) since December 2016 and I absolutely love it! My stylist is Grace. Shes amazing! Every time I walk into the salon, I am warmly welcomed by the ladies at the front desk. They always appear happy to see me and get me all checked in. One of the many things I love about my stylist, Grace, is she is ALWAYS running on time or even ahead of schedule! I have never experienced that with any other hair salon. Another thing I love about Grace is she was able to match my hair color PERFECTLY on my very first visit. She is extremely consistent, talented, very friendly, and definitely well educated on all things hair related. I have never once worried about what my hair will look like when I leave the salon. Its always perfect! Finding a hair stylist and salon that you can trust is hard sometimes, so Im really glad I found Grace and Tangerine Salon. I always look forward to my hair appointments because theyre filled with the good company of the Tangerine employees, great conversation, and exceptional hair care and results. Ive spent years trying to find someone that I can consistently go to for my hair cuts. I have waist length hair, I think it’s a pretty simple cut, but I typically have to describe what I want done as if I’m trying to describe what cheese tastes like to an alien. And even still, I will always go home and make adjustments and never schedule a second appointment.Today was my first time at Tangerine and Terron is AWESOME. My hair looks great and it’s exactly how I wanted it. She made my hair so shiny and bouncy. I’m happy to say I made a second appointment before I left and I’m already looking forward to it.

Last visit was not a good experience. Won’t be back. Color was off and cut my curly hair WAY too short. You have to pay for experienced stylist and even that doesn’t guarantee quality.

Nikki was so amazing, my hair stayed gorgeous looking for days and she helped steer me in the best direction for my hair extension consultation, and recommended me to a great stylist for it in the salon. The entire experience was very smooth and over all just great! I had came here from a bad job on my hair and felt really self conscious, so it was a relief to just get boosted on the way I looked and advice on how to enhance it. The last thing I wanted To hear was how bad it looked and how I needed To do this this and this to fix it. She made me feel assured and I really trusted her through everything. I’ll continuously recommend this place!

Courtney has been doing my hair since 2013 and Ill never go to anyone else! I live in Louisiana now and drive back every time I need a haircut! She truly listens to what you are wanting done and will make you look and feel beautiful every time! She is genuine, honest, and will give you advice of the best style that will work for you! She recently did my hair for my wedding and all of my bridal partys hair as well! Everyone looked amazing and was so very happy with it!

I do NOT recommend this salon for curly hair. I informed them of my hair texture before booking, but the stylist was not familiar with curly hair cutting or styling. The staff is extremely pleasant, the atmosphere is nice. Would definitely recommend for untextured hair.

Nikki did my bridal consultation and absolutely blew me away. She has an incredible eye for what looks good. She had great recommendations and made me feel and look beautiful. I had three other bridal trials before sitting with Nikki because good talent is so hard to find. To say Nikki is incredible is a gross understatement, she is magical and I am so thankful she was recommended to me! I cannot wait to recommend her to everyone I know!

It wasn’t her fault but she chose to go the extra mile and give me a great haircut, did a deep conditioning treatment, discounted my haircut and got me on a priority waitlist.
