Home instead is an A+++ organization. The absolute best home care company I have encountered.Ive been using in-home caregiver services for 8 years to help me care for my wife. We went through 6 different companies between 2013 and 2018 and we always had the same problem. We could not get consistent care. It was rare to get 6 months of continuity from an individual and when someone called in sick I had to take off from work to fill the gap, which is fine, but I need to work.We interviewed Home Instead in the fall of 2018. They assured me that they would have my back. WOW! They werent joking. In the 2.5 years we have utilized Home Insteads services, they have been there every step of the way. They always have someone at the house at the specified time; no matter what. They take wonderful care of my wife, and they do it with a smile and a great attitude. Home Instead has taken the worry out of who will take care of my wife when I work.I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for home care solutions.

After having my father in 3 local Memory Care units, my family and I made the decision to have him move in with my husband and I. This was not an easy decision, but Home Instead (Highland VIllage) has been providing care for my father for almost 3 years. They work very hard to make sure that all of my dads needs are met and have been very accommodating with all of our requests. Whenever I have concerns, they respond immediately and take care of them without delay. My father recently turned 90 and I would say that he is healthier now than 3 years ago before he moved in with us. I would highly recommend Home Instead if you are having to care for a loved one.

We had researched a number of companies to provide care for our 88 year old home bound mother and found Home Instead. Our very first contact was with Gianna Loftis who listened to our needs and established a 24 hour a day schedule. During the first week of rotating through several wonderful people, we were able to find a perfect fit that met our ongoing needs. Over the course of the next several weeks the team met all of our requirements and provided our mom with loving and attentive care. While they have many great employees and admin staff, Nicole on the admin side went above and beyond for us. On the caretaking side, Crystal and Raegan went above and beyond for us and we truly feel like they have become a part of our family.

Our 90-something year old loved one with dementia has been living in our home for 6 1/2 years and we desperately needed some help with regularly scheduled respite care in our home. I am able to work as much or as little as I want. I have the flexibility that I need. I have done caregiving off and on most of my adult life. I had home daycare for years, worked in nursing homes and assisted living. We took my mom into our home and cared for her almost 7 years. After loosing my mom, I was ready to return to work but I didnt want office work again. My family suggested I continue caregiving. We had custody of 3 grandchildren and flexibility was important. Home Instead has given me just what I needed.My clients are very special to me. I treat each on and their families with love and respect, giving them the best care I possible can. Each client is fitted to me as the office staff work to make that possible.If I have questions or concerns, the staff is there for me for my well being, physical and emotional. I also get training aids to try and help with any possible situations that I might have come up.

We have been very happy with the two repeat caregivers who each come once a week to take Mom out for lunch and a drive in the country. Just today Mom told me on the phone she didnt know how she would get by without those nice ladies. They treat Mom (age 90) with care, compassion and dignity. It is so very hard to find and then trust a caregiver to take care of your loved one, my mom lives with me full time. In order to get some respite time and time to do errands for my household i sought help. Home Instead provides wonderful professional, loving care for those needing some extra companionship, help, or support. I cared for my mom with late stages of advanced dementia in my home 24/7 which caused me to be homebound. I had a caregiver come to my house for 3 hours a day, 7 days a week to give me a chance to have a small break. The caregivers understood my mom’s condition, and she looked forward to having some additional company. When my mom left our residence, I applied to work at Home Instead. The office ladies are very professional and help to keep my schedule full. I love providing assistance to those who just need a helping hand.

Home Instead is GREAT!!!! Mom moved to our house 5+ yrs ago after hip surgery. She broke her hip in 1999 and its just been one thing after another. Shes about to be 82 years young and doesnt get around very well. Mom asked me to get some help for her because she wanted to take some of the stress off of me. We have four generations in our house including my 13 month old grandson. Home Instead has been such a blessing! Ms Sharon comes to our house three times a week. I have worked here for more than a year now and I love it, i love my job and honestly it is my calling. The staff has been so reasonable and understand with me through the whole time working with then and I loved it. Only issue I have is recently with the supervisor. Never have I ever been treated so rude and inconsiderate! With the end of my pregnancy they have been giving me difficulties and rude responses. I have never had an issue like this before but hopefully it blows over but at the moment I am not too fond with them at the moment.

We have had an exceptional experience with Home Instead (Highland Village, TX). My Mother-in-law felt that her Caregiver treated her more like family, than a job. Her Caregiver was always warm and friendly, and extremely caring and concerned for her well-being. We even received a call after one of her Caregivers regular visits. She thought maybe we should check on my MIL because she didnt seem like she felt well (my MIL wouldnt have called us because she never wanted to be a burden). We are forever thankful for that call that led to additional testing and a short hospital visit. The team at Home Instead clearly places the care of their clients first. It is obvious from the moment you meet them; they are consistently professional as well as respectful of their clients needs and dignity.

I didnt know it could be so helpful to us but it is and I thank god for the care they have shared with my mom. I have struggled to work and care for her and I have no reservations about going to work now that they are taking care of her.

Home Instead makes sure that a caregiver will be there and will notify you if theyll be late. Even the oddest hour shifts they can find someone to be there for it.

Worked there for about two months never got my over time pay!Never had a full on schedule either! They never have full staffs because of this reason.
