The owner George and my stylist Sahar are some of the kindest people in the salon industry that I have met. As a surgeon, I have a crazy schedule and they are so kind about accommodating my schedule. I visited twice during the pandemic and they abided by all social distancing, cleaning and mask wearing rules. I felt extremely safe. My color turned out beautiful. There’s so much depth and shine to my hair. I have natural curly hair and they were able to use appropriate products to ensure that my curls were safe and beautiful. I love this salon

I am in NJ for an extended visit with family and was feeling desperate to repair an unfortunate cut from a few months ago. Without any referrals and after a lengthy deep dive through Yelp google and Instagram I booked an appointment with Sahar at Salon Envy. I am so glad that I did. Sahar is a true professional ~ patient, thoughtful and considerate, with skill and expertise to match. I cannot recommend Sahar and the team at Salon Envy more. I will be certain to visit again before leaving town. So grateful.

I had my hair changed from very strange mixed color to pink by Sahar and I went amazing! She gave me so many tips on how to take care of my new look and was so nice. I loved the turn out of my hair and got so many compliments. Happy to come again later for follow-ups.

They are very clean and sanitary. They limit the number of people in the store very strictly.The staff including Sahar and the owner George, are great and easy to talk to. I always feel better after leaving!

I cant say enough on how much I love Salon Envy, by far the best service in Highland Park. Ive been going there since day one, 16 plus years and have received great service from everyone, especially the owner George :) I wanted to try something different and Sahar recommended I try Balayage. She sat with me and went over with what look I was going for, I wanted blonde for the summer but also wanted to look natural. We selected the colors that would be best for me. All I have to say is I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Sahar I cant thank you enough, THANK YOU so much for giving me the look that I wanted :) Again everyone at Salon Envy is great, very professional in every way, I highly recommend this place!!!!

I absolutely love this salon. I got exactly the color I asked for. And my haircut was great. Wasted so many other times coloring my hair through other places, you wont regret coming here! It is friendly and nice environment too.

I had my hair cut and colored by Maja in February 2020 and cut by Sahar in July 2020 and they were both terrific. Loved my results! I was very impressed with how clean they kept the salon once it reopened. I can’t wait to go back there again!

I have had a lot of disappointing hair cuts in my lifetime, but never here! Every time I get a hair cut here, I walk out feeling like a million bucks. The stylists are all very good; they give nice scalp massages when they wash your hair & take the time to teach you how to style your hair, too. George in particular is very good. If you show him a photo of a style thats compatible with your hair type, he can replicate it. The building is clean and modern and theyre always cleaning it. I highly recommend this place. Youll pay more than you would at a cheap walk in place, but its totally worth it. Check their website for good coupons.

After the experience of getting my haircut as Salon Envy, I won’t go anywhere else! I moved to Philadelphia and I will still drive an hour+ to see George and get my haircut. Considering the rates that you pay a classic barber in the HP area, George & Salon Envy are a no-brainer when it comes to quality, cleanliness, professionalism & a good haircut. Very few businesses are run with the pride & enthusiasm that George and his staff put into Salon Envy.I can’t wait to get my quarantine hair and beard trimmed once this is all over!

I moved from CA to Highland Park for grad school and needed to find someone to help me get my hair healthy again. I found Salon Envy right down the street from me and Shahar gave me great advice on which shampoos to look for that would help my particular hair type. Over the past 2.5 years we have gotten my split ends and frizz under control and she knows how to create a look that I love. They are very professional and the salon is kept clean and tidy. I always look forward to my appointments at Salon Envy!

Just had a cut by Maya. I have curly but thin hair and she did a great job! I LOVE my hair! She was very sweet and friendly. I will definitely be returning.

They did a very thorough job with my haircut, as well as with shampooing, massaging, and blow-drying. Im happy with the result and the experience. Also, they were good at talking to me about what I wanted and what I didnt want to get done. You know how you come into a salon, and you dont know what you want done? They were very good at helping me figure it out. It may be a little more expensive than haircuts at malls (to be precise it was only $15 more), but the difference is so worth it. Ill never go to the mall again after this. Also, they offer coffee and nice biscottis. :) Overall, great experience. I have no complaints.

Salon Envy is definitely my favorite place to get my hair cut. Everyone is really nice and if you call ahead you rarely have to wait long. If youre like me and not exactly sure what you want George will help you figure it out. 10/10 would recommend.

Its one of the best salon experience I had in recent times. Its not a fancy we have it all kind of place, yet it does what it supposed to do for you, grooms you better.George does know how to treat his customers, it was my first time there, yet he made me comfortable by asking the way I wanted my hair to cut. He showed me couple of photos to understand my choice of style, suggested a few and finally got the output desired.Make sure you talk to your stylist and convey your preference and hear their suggestions too. They know their craft.Definitely recommend for someone who wants a salon where you would be a regular. Its one of the best you could get around the Brunswick area.

My experience at Salon Envy was absolutely amazing. The warm atmosphere and especially the warm welcoming by the staff made the experience very special. I went in for a clean up and a color. This place I would recommend for everyone. I will be coming back again.

Sahar has done a tremendous work on my hair. She gave me a beautiful curly hair style. However the owners have a discouraging and pompous bed side manner. I stopped going there because of them. I went to see Sahar so she could look at my hair because I was going to London to my sons wedding. I needed to make a decision and asked to see her for a few minutes. Would you believe they yelled at me and told me she was busy and I had to make an appointment to see her. I have never been back since. This was September 2017. I miss the way Sahar did my hair but have not wanted to see those guys again.

George is a wonderful hairstylist and shop owner. Ive been a customer of George for over 10 years. All the members of my family, and some of our friends, go to him or his co-workers, who are also fabulous! I like my haircut! Ive watched George and crew consult with their other clients about styles, and Ive seen everyone who leaves the shop looking great.

I have been getting my hair done at Salon Envy for a year now, and am completely thrilled with the results everytime. The staff is wonderful and take their time to listen to what you want and do a great job making it happen. I trust them all completely which is important when it comes to getting color, highlights and cut! The salon is beautiful and the mood in there is friendly yet professional. The atmosphere was amazingly welcoming, and Sahar did an incredible job on my hair. She bleached and colored it beautifully and it turned out wonderfully. Salon Envy is definitely the place to go if you want to get your hair dyed.

George has been cutting my hair for years. He always does a great job. He cuts my (small) kids hair too; he is patient and helps them not be scared, showing them the tools and demonstrating how they work.

I would have given a zero but it wouldnt have let me!!!! I am highly DISAPPOINTED from the service that I received from SAHARA, I showed her the color that I wanted and she said she can do it! It was the WRONG COLOR SHADE that I wanted and when I told her that i didnt like the color, she freaked out and she was very rude towards me!!!! I would not recommend using SAHARA as she was very UNPROFESSIONAL and she is NOT A COLOR EXPERT!!!!!!UPDATE: I AM STILL NOT HAPPY WITH MY COLOR. The first picture is how she colored my hair and the second picture is the one I wanted my color to be like. They said it will get lighter in a week and it is been a week and its still NOT lighter. I am still waiting for the owner to call me back and refund my money.

$290 Absolutely dont know how to fade/blend. I went in to correct it and sahar made it worse. Currently getting it fixed at Sparks. (At least i still have decent quality hair still...)

I came here with my 6 year old disabled daughter to get a haircut. It ended up being a good style for her and I was happy. I called a few month after to make another appointment and the owner told me that they do not want to cut my daughters hair. I do not know why someone who be so rude and just refuse a haircut because of a disability. I felt really terrible after that conversation. So I would not recommend this place and they refuse to accommodate me.

I am so thrilled to have found the perfect stylist . I have been attending salons envy for almost 2 years and they are absolutely great . Sahar in particular is such an amazing stylist. I am a very picky woman and when it comes to my hair especially I do not just trust anyone. With Sahar I have been nothing but satisfied every single visit. she has worked with coloring and cutting my hair and I could not be more pleased. She is very patient and actually gets to know her clients , making sure that they come first. I recommend her not only as a stylist but salon envy as a salon. Every single time I come in here, my experience is as great as the time before. My hair stylist, Sahar, is amazing. She is a true perfectionist which, when it comes to hair, is a must! She’s always so attentive, she makes sure I leave happy and satisfied with my style. I call her the “Queen of Coloring” bc she is AMAZING at hair color. I have been going to Sahar for nearly two years now and I have never been happier with a stylist. She is personable and is constantly educating herself on her craft. For that, she is a master in her field. Additionally, Sahar doesnt have me leave her chair until she is satisfied with her work. For that, she is an artist.

Great atmosphere, everyone there is very friendly. I usually make my appointments with Sahar, she really is the best. Takes great care of my hair and gives great tips for caring for it. Ive gotten hair cuts, my har straightened and styled and have tried the karatin smoothing treatment with her and have always left loving how my hair looks.

Excellent service! I really felt that Sahar knew exactly what she was doing. I have long thick, wavy hair which often doesnt get cut well. However, she not only cut it wet, but also took the time to go the extra mile and cut it again once dried. Sahar knows her stuff when it comes to color and cut. I didnt know exactly what I wanted but she listened and gave me plenty of ideas of how my hair should be cut. She was very informative about the products available and gave me some great tips for styling my hair. The high level of customer service as well as coloring of my hair were both excellent at salon ENVY. Looking forward to seeing what other ideas Sahar comes up with next time…I’ll BE BACK!!! Sahar, you ROCKED IT!!!!
