After having 2 babies, my teeth were destroyed. Ive been terrified to go to the dentist for over a year now, but after seeing how kind & patient they were with my son, I scheduled an appointment for myself. Dr. Moss explained how hed fix everything & put me completely at ease. I had 4 fillings my first appointment & didnt feel a thing. The hygienist was kind, asked me several times if I was ok. Id recommend East Chocolate Dental to anyone!!

I had a great experience here. I needed a root canal. Came in and everyone was very friendly and quick. Dr. Moss did a wonderful job.

This place is the most unorganized and unprofessional dentist I’ve ever been too. I’ve ran into so many issues with them within a yr it amazes me they are still open for business. Never going back again, finding a better dentist, only reason I was going here was because I thought they would be help and they just caused stress.

The absolute worst place to go! Not friendly at all the office manager is extremely rude hung up on me multiple times and the dentist there alkateed Mohamed is so rude and so unprofessional! He threatened me with calling CYS if I didn’t sign papers that HE forgot to give me for my fiancée I will be calling the board of dentistry on him today to make sure he doesn’t do this to anyone else! Because I’m pretty sure seeing my kids for almost 2 years w.o my consent could get him into trouble!

Not very friendly. Especially when paying for services out of pocket. Staff makes you feel less than for paying in cash.

I’m a new patient but they provide great service. They treated me quickly and were very helpful. Got a problem tooth removed, and I feel so much better. They helped make the process a lot easier. Thank you! I even recommended them to my roommate, and he’ll be visiting soon too! 😁

If you are able to connect with the capable, professional staff here its an excellent experience. However overall I feel they are lacking in important areas of their business especially customer service. I contacted them multiple times to schedule a cleaning with no response on more than one occasion. I often felt my visits were more focused on the money they could make rather than the services and care they could offer. After trying to stick it out It just boils down to being unhappy with the environment and I will no longer be utilizing them.

This place is terrible. The people that work here have are unhelpful and have bad attitudes. Its cheap, so you get what you pay for. Would NOT recommend to my worst enemy.

We are new to this dentist office but they have treated my 7-year-old son with kindness, and wonderful service for his cavities also they took all of our insurance throughout our family so now the whole family can come to one dentist office wonderful place to come everyone is very kind.

Do Not Go Here! It is all about money and Dr. Mohammad is terrible.! He wanted to fill teeth that did not need filled. He placed an implant and a tooth incorrectly, for $3,000.00, using a knock off brand post that I had to pay someone else to remover when it started to come out. He also wanted to pull a tooth and put in another implant with a tooth that didnt need one. He just thought because I could afford one I must be able wealthy enough to afford another one. The worst dentist ever!!! I wouldnt ever give him 1 star but I had to to post this !

Dr. Mo is knowledgeable and great with kids too! He understands that seeing a dentist can be a scary prospect for kids and adults alike so, he goes out of his way to make sure its always a good experience. Also, he really cares about educating his patients on both their short and long term dental needs. I completely trust his recommendations (and my entire family loves him). The staff is super friendly and there are many options available for people working with tight budgets. (also... Im a chicken when it comes to shots but have never had a bad experience here :)

I had my four front top teeth crowned and in the end, it was well worth the trips. The crowns turned out beautiful, the color was perfect, and they ended up being straighter and nicer than my real teeth. The Dentist did a great job and even after a year I am very pleased with the work he did every time I look in the mirror.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. My entire family has been going to American Dental care for many years. The entire staff is professional, but also personable. We have been going this practice since 2007. This was the first experience both of my sons have had with dental care. They feel very comfortable visiting the dentist and are never worried. My one son said the dentist was funny and distracted him so he didnt even feel the shot he needed to deal with his cavity. I highly recommend this practice and am very happy to have found them... Note, Wanda as mentioned in another review is awesome, so I dont know what the heck that other person was talking about.

I had such a great experience! I am usually super nervous but Dr. MO was super gentle and took good care of me. I had 2 fillings done and I will be going back and taking my child :)

Hi! I had to get a crown and I was scared. Dr. Mo and his hygienists were very sensitive to my needs and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. I had a positive experience through the whole process and am thankful for the care that they provided me.A great place to go for your oral care

My family and I have just started coming here. So far we love it. All the staff is so friendly and they keep you updated on what they are doing. My daughter had to get fillings and they were very nice and helped her through it (she was terrified). I also had to get some work done to fix what my last dentist did. I didnt even notice it when they numbed my mouth and they were very fast and efficient in their work. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

Steer clear of this place and Dr. Muhammad. I’m disgusted with the way I was treated by Dr. Muhammad and his staff. I had a referral for a crown replacement, I provided X-rays before scheduling my appointment. Right from the start this blockhead pulls up my X-ray and in the most sarcastic tone says “show me what makes you think that you need a crown replacement and show me on here since you know”. I just got up and walked out, I have never been disrespected, immediately, for absolutely no reason. After, Dr. Muhammad followed me to the front desk where I ask the ladies for the name of the doctor I had been with, because he’s refusing to tell me. Dr. Muhammad tells the ladies not to answer and they all listen! Just sitting there, silently and desperately trying to ignore me. Finally, the only lady with some integrity working in that office came to her senses, and realized I had every right to know his name, she spoke up and gave it to me. If you’re a person that reads a review before buying anything or going some place but sometimes you take a chance; Don’t take that chance this time.

My family has been patients of American Dental Care since moving to Hershey from Philadelphia in 2003. Not once have I ever had a bad experience with their services. The staff is the best of the best. Led by Dr. Mo, Beth, the hygienist, Leslie and Venus have always been warm and welcoming.I am not being paid for these comments. These are genuine feelings that I have and will continue to share their stellar services to colleagues and friends.

American Dental Care really takes care of you. I just recently went in the get my teeth up to date and found out that I had little to make my teeth better. The Dr and the staff really do care and understand. I would recommend American Dental Care to anyone willing to either switch or whom needs a good teeth cleaning.

I recently had a general cleaning and x-rays taken here, and had a great experience. The staff and dental hygienists were nice and friendly. Id recommend this place to others. The only drawback is that the actual dentist doesnt spend too much time with you, but then again my teeth were fine, so maybe he didnt need to spend much time looking at them.

I have asked numerous times for a final bill showing how much was charged and paid by our insurance and how much our total amount owed is. Our estimated portion was prepaid based on a preliminary estimate and I just want to ensure that what was paid does not exceed the actual total owed. I am certain if we owed them money we would have had a bill 5 weeks ago. Each week for 3 weeks have we asked and continue to be ignored. Each week we get Oh, we thought we sent that, well send it right out. Last time was a week and a half ago. It makes it appear they are hiding something. By this review, I am making one last request for a detailed itemized statement, then my next stop is the BBB and the American Dental Association. I just want an itemized invoice of the treatment, how much was charged and paid by insurance and how much is our responsibility--should be a simple matter of printing a statement.

I have been a patient for about 10 years and have only had good experiences at American Dental. The front desk staff is very professional, I receive reminder calls, and never have any issues moving/changing my appointments. Beth has done my cleaning since the start and always offers advice to keep them clean. Dr. Mo is very professional, and takes an interest in my teeth during my checkups and any cavities I have. Even though I hate the drill, he makes sure I never feel any pain. I would recommend American Dental to anyone looking for a dental provider in the area.

Ive been receiving my dental care from this group for about 3 years now. Im independent at this point, so I use the Carrington care 500 discount plan, and they accept this without issue. The staff is helpful and amiable and have been accommodating when a sudden schedule change was necessary. Dr. Mo has done nothing but exceptional work, ranging from simple fillings to rout canals & crowns. I never feel Im rushed out, as has been the case at a similar dental group practice some time ago. I would recommend this practice and Dr. Mo to anyone with dental care needs.

Never go here. They will push for root canals to get your insurance money and make you over pay. go to another dentist to make sure they arnt lying!

I feel so fortunate to have found my dentist, Dr. Mo (Muhammad?), at East Chocolate Dental. Like many people the dentist was a dreaded place to go for most of my life. Then I met Dr. Mo., at my first appointment there, I explained to him about the eating disorder I had battled for over 17 years and the toll the acid had taken on my teeth and enamel. At only 32 years old my teeth were getting progressively worse and were chipping daily. I disliked my smile and after avoiding the dentist for two years I was in tears when he told me all the dental complications I was facing. Then he showed me a photo on his phone of a beautiful smile. He said that after some work that I would eventually have a smile like the one I saw on the screen. I was skeptical at first but soon after my first few appointments I couldn’t believe the difference. Over a two year period, I had 12 root canals and about 11 crowns put on my teeth. The crowns include my top front 6 teeth that look absolutely gorgeous just like he had promised. I actually looked forward my monthly dental appointments! Everyone is so kind including the receptionists at the front and check out, the assistance and Dr. Mo himself. I felt like they really cared and I have never felt so welcome somewhere before. I give this office five stars and I think about them quite often! They saved my smile!

We did not have dental insurance for almost four years and I was very nervous about going to a dentist again, not only because of that but also because I have lots of anxiety about dentists in general. I was also nervous about trying American Dental Care because of the negative reviews online, but I have to say that I could not be more pleased with the whole staff. My son, who is six years old, had never been to the dentist before and was a little nervous about his first cleaning, but afterwards he wanted to come back the next day because he enjoyed it so much and had such a good time with his hygienist, Wanda. My hygienist, Beth, was great as well and when I met Dr. Mo for the first time I liked him immediately, he is very nice and did not make me feel bad for not going to the dentist in so long. I told him about my anxieties and he was very understanding; he is very patient, takes his time explaining everything to me and frequently checks to make sure that I am comfortable. Ive been back twice more since my cleaning to complete my treatment plan and truthfully my anxiety is almost gone. I also appreciate how they let me know before my appointments what my co-pays will be so there are no surprises. I am so happy that I decided to try them out and I highly recommend American Dental Care, especially if you have feel like I did. If you are open and honest about how you feel they will do everything they can to alleviate your anxiety.

They said I have 2 cavity to be done so I decided to get it done . This was done by the dental hygienenist at 1st time. I did not know if they could do that and it was redone by the dentist after I said it did not fill right.t I had increase in sensitivity and could not eat from that side of my mouth after that. After a week of them getting me in. So i had to get it redone and now I have another problem from them increasing my teeth gap. So now I have food getting stuck in between my teeth and it hurts.

DO NOT GO!!!Dr mohamad is a liar. He sets a treatment plan and then will tell you tooth after tooth needs a root canal. I finally went to another dentist after the fillings he had done were so poor I could barely floss and one fell out in less than 3 months. Now I am left wondering if teeth he extracted even needed pulled. He lied to both my son and I. When my son questioned him about his multiple lies Dr. Mohamad explained, What is he Efing nuts!? Most unprofessional and awful dental experience we ever have had. Trust me and go someplace else. He takes advantage of people making them spend unnecessary money on unnecessary procedures.

My family and I was on vacation and I cracked a tooth. Very nice reception ok with me being from out of Town. Was in and out in 1 hour! Would recommend to the locals as well as the out of towners! 5-Stars!

Great my Gf Amanda Ballester loves it here. She has been to many dental locations , and East Chocolate Dental ..by far is a better experience then anywhere she has ever been. They care about you they help you , and they go above and beyond for their customers. She had a tooth that needed a root canal they medicated it for months and i beleive restored it back to functioning or else she would have need a implant ! We LOVE this place and the STAFF

I am very happy with my expierence there and this comes from someone with a 20+ year terrifing fear of dentists, as I have had a few horrible expierences. I looked around and settled in them. When I went in, granted the woman at the desk was a bit stand-off-ish, I was willing to look past that... Upon examination the Dental Technician (DT) looked into the back of my mouth to the troubled area and Im sure to get horror she saw a gaping black spot. Lol, I forgot to inform them I had been using activated charcoal as a natural toothpaste and it had collected in the hole a tooth peice was making, she was horrified but handled it well and after I explained what was going on They were able to come up with a dental plan.The next visit they set me to have the tooth bit and far back tooth with it extracted, the male dentist was very oddly reassuring, he was cool, informed me what was gonna happen and when my distress started he coached me thru it. They removed everything with no after lasting pain and great healing.The next time I was getting fillings for fillings that had fallen out and needed done. The female dentist was very insightful attending to work that was done by another dentist I was dissatisfied with. She worked quickly and was diligent in making sure with the fillings my mouth would bite down and close properly. She taught me stuff I should have been told long ago, and was very very nice. I have an upcoming appt and Im very happy with my choice to go with them.

Went in for extraction dentist started a root canal without my or my insurance company permission required a preapproval well the approval was denied so I call back for six months no-one wanted to return my call so I go in on my 30 birthday in tears from an infection and the tooth busting at the gumline threaten a lawyer for personal injury dont you know I seen within minutes go figure I get prescriptions that I have to pay for go in today still have a bad infection come back in a week LMAO heres more pills go spend more money I dont have and Im treated like this is my fault and refuses to give me anything regarding the procedure they did that was not approved because we werent gonna submit it til the insurance company approved it sounds like they covered their asses to show hey we never did this procedure hes a liar well Im done with this place Ive contacted a lawyer cause yall didnt do your job

This dentist should not be allowed to practice in our town or any other. Please do not take your self or your children to this horrible man Dr. Mo the dentist. a.k.a. the guy who lies to patients about what dental work, they didnt need in the first place. He also has rewritten his reviews to sound increasingly faked and fabricated. I went there once and wont be back. Shame on Dr. Mo for hurting people like this. He did a work on my tooth that i didnt need, never filled the tooth back in then billed me and my insurance for both treatments now i need to have the extra work to replace my original perfect tooth that will eventually have issues because of the mediocre work, and primitive style of dentistry. Please, dont even try American Dental in Hershey or it could cost you more than your money.

AVOID THIS DENTAL PRACTICE !!!!!!!I went to American Dental Care, It was nightmare ...front desk staff is so rude. I had to wait 45 minutes .Finally, Hygienist WANDA started cleaning my teeth, She is vey unprofessional, she drop one instruments on floor. Instead of replacing with new one, She keep using same in my mouth. When ,I object that she got upset and call dentist on duty. He introduce him self as Dr.Amish ..He did not even apologies. Instead of asking about my complaints. He started bluffing that he is doing dentistry since ,He was 3 years old. My eye balls pop !!! I did not know that state Board of Dentistry ,gives license that early !!! I never saw a dentist doing dentistry in diaper !! I was nervous to get my teeth fixed because one of them was a front tooth, but the doctor (didnt catch his name) worked super fast and did a great job.
