This place is a great place to go and get medical help. The way the staff talks with you, its like they known you there whole life. They treat you like family. The nurse and I had a great conversation about family and life lessons. I dont remember her name, but she was great. To the whole staff. Im glad there are people such as your selves, that are kind and have a heart. God Bless

The receptionist, Dawn, was so rude to my daughter. She spoke to her (shes almost 30) like a child but then treated another lady (clearly at least 50) with kindness and respect. She was also gossiping about patients while customers were at the check in desk. Im not going to repeat what she said out of respect for those peoples privacy.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My stepdad has a bad memory problem and I was there with him to remember what the doctor says because he forgets so easily. Anyway the guy at the counter ( I forget his name) was very rude to my stepfather and I about it even when we tried to explain and he was like “that doesn’t matter” and then proceeded to tell me get out while pointing his finger towards the door. I understand with COVID and everything there’s certain rules but the virus isn’t as big as it is now. THE POINT IS he could of been a little NICER to us instead of handling it the way he did.

The new Nurse Practitioner lady that they hired on is AMAZING! She noticed my face swollen and 2 other doctors didn’t even notice. Both the other doctors told me that my pain was all in my head. I will definitely return if I have any other issues (Hopefully I won’t). 5 stars.

Well it took about an hour for them to call me back which i understand because they had about 8 others in front of me. Now that i’m back in a room it has been about an hour and i still haven’t seen a doctor although i was told the doctor would be in shortly. I suffer from server migraines and headaches, i could have easily passed out in the room and no one would have know because no one came back to check on me. Also the nurse ms Nicki girl, wasn’t the nicest. She sounded as if she had a whole attitude and when I was telling her my issues she seemed like she didn’t even care. So i won’t be coming back here any longer even if i was dying. If i could i would rate 0 stars 🙄

The staff at this location are appalling. There are no signs for specific parking anywhere in the parking lot. So I pulled into a regular spot. A woman in scrubs came out with an instant attitude raising her voice that I couldn’t park there. I said I was just there for a flu shot there weren’t any signs. And she said “well if we don’t have parking then we can’t help you”..... this is a medexpress but if there’s no parking they can’t help you? This location is an embarrassment to the Shenango Valley. My recommendation would be, go anywhere else! I’ve never been treated so poorly by medical staff. I’ll never go back to this location again.

Office seemed a little off, but friendly. Maybe new employees learning. Doctor listened and didnt mess around. I went for 1 specific problem and thats what was taken care of! Big KUDOS to the nurse working tonight! She was awesome and on target! I have been here 5-6 times and have been treated properly. Sometimes theres a little wait, but come on....its a walk in place! The medical field is not always cut and dry. Ive had set appointments with doctors and have waited longer.

Will never go back there, no matter how serious of a condition. Woman at front desk was unfriendly, rude, disrespectful and etc. Office manager apologized when I called two days later to complain. She said she was there at that time, heard the treatment I was given from that woman. She was very nice but if she heard how this woman was treating me, she should have stepped in. Wish I could not even give a single star.

We used to go to med express for years with the kids, it kept us out of the e.r. now since they do xrays. It took us 2 hours and they wouldnt diagnose my daughter. They just said go to the e.r we cant do anything here. Really I think she was an incompetent moron. And the guy that signed us in was super rude to my husband. And then a woman with the same circumstance get preferential treatment. Really he was a pigg. Never again will I go to med express.

This is the perfect place if you need more than a bandage & aspirin, but less than full-on amputation. I kid, but you get the idea. Husband and I have had the misfortune of needing in-between medical attention due to household accidents, insect bites/stings, sudden onset of fever & nausea, etc.. After being misdiagnosed more than once at a facility run by a Pittsburgh-based behemoth thats close our home, we decided to drive a bit farther and try MedExpress.I can speak only of their Hermitage facility, but their treatment always improves us within a few days, if not immediately. Their diagnostic equipment is seemingly on par with emergency rooms for certain complaints; they X-rayed a limb to check for breakage, then gave us a CD of the images to share with our regular care team afterward, if more in-depth treatment was required. Also, they can fill many prescriptions onsite, often saving us from the dreaded pharmacy wait lines. Finally, weve never seen a doctor yet that made us regret not waiting it out to see if it goes away on its own.The only thing I dont care for is that you have to leave your credit card number to cover what your insurance does not. That being said, the folks there need paid, and they do give you ten days notice before hitting your card for the balance. Its never an unpleasant surprise.Bottom line: We wouldnt hesitate to return to the Hermitage MedExpress.

If I could give it 0 rating I would. The doctor was very rude and unhelpful. I have been sick for 3 weeks with a sinus infection and he refused to give me antibiotics to treat it. He told me it was just allergies and that it will go away on its own. Going to another doctor now to get the correct treatment. Dont go here unless you want to waste your time.

I recently moved to the area and began researching urgent care places when I twisted my ankle. I read a review that specified that you must leave a credit card on file so they can charge you whatever your insurance does not cover. I called today 3/5/2019, to confirm this and that is accurate information. So what is the purpose of having insurance and a co-pay? I told her I have never heard of something like that before and asked how I would know how much more needed to be paid. She stated I would be notified 7-10 days prior to the charge taking place. I do not have an actual credit card, I only have a debit card. I am NOT comfortable leaving my bank information and to authorize them to remove an unspecified amount. Sorry but this is odd to me. I will NOT be utilizing their facility ever! UPDATE: 3/8/19 I ended up going to UPMC. They were very nice, polite, caring and they did NOT need additional payment information. My co pay via insurance was enough. I will definitely go out of my way to venture to UMPC instead of MedExpress. Btw...MedExpress did not have many cars in their lot when we drove past it on the way to UPMC and also on the way back home. Interesting....

DO NOT GO HERE! 3/13/18 I came here for a work accident. I had hurt my arm so therefore it was a workmans comp claim. When the Dr saw me she diagnosed me with a muscle strain. There wasnt can you lift this or does this hurt; its a muscle strain. I asked if it could be a tendon issue no its a muscle strain or could it be a pinched nerve no its a muscle strain. I informed her that I was upset she wouldnt listen or explain her reasoning. Well do an x-ray incase its broken, but we know that it isnt . I left and saw my pcp. After a review and several tests I had been diagnosed with a small bilateral tendon tear. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

The wait time was short, and the Dr and nurses were friendly. I went in just because I needed an xray on my ankle, which they did no problem. The also sent me home with an aircast to keep the ankle stable until it healed up. Aircasts cost $25-40 on average. MedExpress is trying to bill me $100 for an aircast. They just velcro on, there was no fitting involved, no reason they should charge that much, besides trying to rip people off. On top of charging 3 times more than the aircast cost, the aircast broke within 3 days of using it. I threw it away thinking it wasnt a big deal, until I got the bill for it 2 months later. I trend calling MedExpress and they couldnt explain why it cost so much besides saying your insurance company says we can charge you that much. And a scripted we understand youre frustrated, but theres nothing we can do. The service is fine here, but ask what anything will cost before you take it with you, even with insurance, and if you can wait to go to an actual doctor youll be much better off

You’ll get better care from your grandmother!Took our son there for Covid test which was negative, but he was still extremely sick. Not only was he prescribed the same medication from the previous weekend. The Dr. Instead of what’s doing best for the patient is doing what she is told from Corporate headquarters. God help us all, if this is our future in medicine.
