I love this place and I have been going to this place for as long as I can remember with all of my children and my nephews! I haven’t had any major issues or problems.The receptionists may have not returned my calls a few times over the past 12 years but that doesn’t take away from the Good job,hard work or the long hours that all the doctors at rainbow dedicate to my kids & all the other children that go there!I think it’s a great place!

This place needs to be investigated by a medical board or something . When a child is on a medication that has to be taking and the side affects stopping it too abruptly can cause discontinuation syndrome to develop. Among the symptoms that may be experienced are nausea, tremor, dizziness, muscle pains, weakness, insomnia, and anxiety. And not caring and having there medication filled in a timely manner after numerous phone calls to have it called in is very unprofessional and actually disgusting that they will have a child on a medication of this sort and blow it off like it’s a over the counter vitamin. This is the perfect example of why a child ends up with issues because of the lack of concern or care from a office like this one. Unfortunately with this small town you are limited to a pediatric office so I don’t think they really care what anyone feels about them cause there mindset is if you don’t like it go somewhere else. This is just one of my complaints cause I was told to let the other one go cause of not wanting issues. But the fact of out child being out of her medication for to many days really makes me upset. Very unprofessional

Worst pediatric experience we have had to date. The front of house lacks clear leadership giving training for policy and procedures, communication skills and customer service.I see your reply, I left a message with my cell phone# for the manager that day. Not yet have I received a return call.

By far the best pediatric practice! They’re very attentive to my kids and always have been.

Went to BRH in the morning, daughter had temperature, they were so concerned about covid 19 that no other test were done or anything else checked. Now at emergency room 3am and daughter has a temperature of 103 and should have been caught at doctors office. Terrible office.

The doctors, nurses, and staff are knowledgeable, caring, and kind. Their problem is with scheduling. They claim to offer walk-ins but arent really able to provide them. They open at 8 and I walked in at 8. I was told it would be faster to make an appointment at 10:20 and come back then. They only have one provider then and one more at 9. Only enough to cover their appointments. They really shouldnt claim to offer walk-ins when they have no way to accommodate them. Ive also had trouble making regular appointments. I tried to make a 6 month check-up for my son a month in advance and was told that they couldnt schedule that far ahead. I also showed up once for an appointment that I got an automated call to confirm the day before and they didnt have the appointment in their record somehow. It seems as though they have excellent doctors who can only provide mediocre service because of the limits of their scheduling ability. My son is now almost 2, so this has been a problem for quite awhile.

I just recently switch doctors from rainbow. They are horrible at scheduling. Two different times I had appointments written down on a card showed up for the appointment and they told me it was the wrong day even though they wrote it . Horrible at calling my daughter was sick called two different times within 3 days and never return the phone call. They always wanted to beat around the bush with my daughter I never could get a referral. My daughter went there for 5 1/2 years and never again.

I absolutely love the staff here, they are so helpful! Although, they are very busy they still are very fast on getting you in and out WITH AN APPOINTMENT, not sure as a walk-in since Ive never walked in. But, Ive never had issues to have my kids referred to anywhere that has been needed and scheduling has never been an issue for me as well. I encourage parents to come here with their kids, you wont be disappointed!

Fantastic pediatrician. Kris Hornsby is kind and attentive and thorough we have always been pleased with her care. Yes, the front desk can get hectic but we have always had a a quick response to our messages. Their new addition, Dr. Zadel is AMAZING and we highly recommend him.

Does not deserve 1 star. Refused care to my Grandson after he had been in Mission...today was a follow up appt. I as his Grandmother have always brought him to appts. Today I was told that I could not bring him in after making a trip there. My Daughter filled out papers and we took them by personally. STUPIDITY seems to run the office. Never will we go there again. I have taken my children and grandchildren there for years. Office has changed and DEFINITELY gone down. RUDE and just does not put the health and welfare of their patients first.

Things were fine at first, then all of a sudden they werent. My daughter needed certain medicine, but they kept calling in things that werent approved by her insurance. The first time I called, a nurse said she would have the doc call back within 30minutes. Over 2 HOURS, nothing. I call again, am told that there was no note in the system for the doc to call back, but that they would have the doc call back within the hour... Nearly another 2 hours later, I finlly get the call, but to find out its another medicine not covered by insurance. So I try to give my little girl something over the counter that the doc says isnt strong enough for what dosage she needs. Oh, but was also told that they would call the insurance to request something that way my little girl can get what she needs.... Que 10 days later. No call back. No information. Nothing. So once again, I call. Nothing has been done & Im pretty much told, best of luck... Yeah, I think its time to look for a different pediatric, and I would NOT advise bringing your child here, especially if the child is on medicaid.I ended up taking my little girl to the hospital due to major coughing & wheezing & really bad snotting. I told them the issue with her not getting what she needed because of pediatricians inability to simply fax in a PA. Something must have been said because finally FINALLY after so long of waiting, I received a call saying that they had finally gotten thru & could pick up her meds the next day.I was later advised to give them another chance... Trying to be understanding & forgiving, I did on 4/8.Same pediatric lady, followed by rudeness, down-playing my concerns & her circling my question of why she had told me that my daughter needed a certain amount of mg/day of the medicine yet when I picked up her prescription, it was more than 2× the dosage/day. I never got an answer.That being said, chance was given & obviously nothing was better.Will be setting my daughter up with a different pediatrician this week.

You never get seen, I call and always I am told they only have one dr and they cannot see anyone. I am now changing drs I have had to consistently go to urgent care and the emergency room to have my son seen.

Horrible excuse for a doctors office. Do not waste your time here take your children literally ANYWHERE else.

Dont really listem to you. Ask them a question and get a generic answer. Son has had an ear infecrion for 3 weeks now. She didnt even have the ear infection in her notes. Thought she saw him for a cough. Round two of antibiotics. Call and ask a question and you get a response before yourefinished asking. Not a good bedside manner. Will be going elswhere.

My daughter has a neuromuscular disease, and I am an advanced practice nurse and my husband is a physician. Fortunately we are able to manage much of our daughters care ourselves, but there are times when we need the support of a caring and compassionate physician. My daughters physical therapist at Mission Childrens hospital had some orthpedic concerns and suggested that we get a referral to see Mission Childrens orthopedic physicians and get an xray. I was told to call my pediatrician to get an order and a referral and that Mission could see us the same day (as we were already in the building).I called and was unable to speak to the physician, was treated rudely by the office staff, was put on hold multiple times and had to spell it out over and over with the office staff over the phone, and then was told that I should take her to the emergency room. In other words, we dont have the time or compassion to deal with you so just go to the ER. There was no emergency. I needed an xray order and a referral as requested by her physical therapist. Faxing that order literally takes someone 5 minutes on the computer.How sad that a practice committed to the health of children has forgotten how difficult it is to be a parent of a sick child, and clearly has lost their commitment to helping families and doctors work together. Despite being an educated person who is able to advocate for my daughter, I never got the help we needed from this practice.

Dont waste your time with an appointment had one set at 4. Arrived 15 minutes early and still waiting 30 minutes later with no one in waiting room.
