I was used goods since my trauma happened outside of Nevada. I know Orthopedic medicine is a closed network. I appreciate Dr. Wallis taking on my case and getting me back to work in a timely fashion. Traditional medicine can be flexible. . . I would recommend this doctor to ANYONE!!! And his ancillary staff is even better!!! Thank you ALL, sincerely!!! I know ED nurses can be a pill. Best doctors (Surgeons) in Nevada. I have had 5 past surgeries all ended with perfect results-now I have possibly two surgeries more new medical problems only doctors I will go to. I trust them with my life can’t say that about other surgeons I have had.

I had my right knee replaced by Dr. Wallis on August 16, 2021. After wasting 8 months with another orthopedic specialist, I contacted Orthopedic Institute of Henderson. Fortunately Dr. Wallis was available. After a few consultations and thorough xrays the surgery was scheduled. After the surgery, I was up and walking with the aid of nurses and staff of St. Rose Hospital . I cant say enough about the surgery ,it was absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend my surgeon Dr. Wallis. As of this date 6 weeks later Im walking pain free and with great confidence again. Anyone considering knee replacement surgery consider my surgeon Dr. Wallis. I will eventually have my left knee replaced and you guessed it -, with Dr. Wallis.

Dr Wallis took on my case, for my third right hip replacement (the others were 1980 and 1995). It was a very complicated revision surgery that took seven hours and required a 20 incision and bone grafts. Dr Wallis is a very talented surgeon, but much more than that he has an excellent bedside manner. I never feel rushed. He always takes the time to listen and answer any questions I have. His confidence and attitude before the surgery made me feel comfortable going in, and the results prove this out.Combined with that, his staff is extremely nice and helpful, as are the entire staff of OIH.The highest compliment I can offer is that my previous hip replacements were at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, and my experience with Dr Wallis and OIH is on a par with that.

Dr.. Wallis replaced my left hip. I was told what to expect at each step of my surgery and recovery.Everything went perfectly. I had Dr Wallis for about a year when I had broken my femur bone. He was very professional, helpful he told me in details about my recovery I went to him every 6 weeks for check ups while I was in physical therapy. He did not mention any stem cell knee option I will ask him about.One thing, I am giving this office 4 Stars instead of 5 Stars, since they still had May 13, 2021 Covid flyers & signs up about Covid-19 rules. This office is not posting the updated Governor Covid-19 rules, as of current June 1, 2021. They need to fix this asap because they are forcing patients to still wear masks as of June 16, 2021. I asked to see the Covid rules they are following and they showed me a form that was dated as ofMay 13, 2021 that no longer applies in Nevada. The doctor said they are following the Henderson COUNTY Covid rules, but they had nothing to show me in writing from the Henderson County that superseded the Governor of Nevadas Covid rules from June 1, 2021. It bothers me this medical office is not updating Covid Governor rules. All medical offices, plus all businesses, need to be updated on the newest Covid-19 rules by the Governor of Nevada.

I had surgery on my rotator cuff performed by Dr. Grondel, and I have been in PT for 6 weeks and everything is great, my recovery went well no problems and my PT is going extrememly well my PT therapist told me Dr. Grondel did a wonderful job on my shoulder and I am recovering very nicely.

This is the best orthopedic practice to go to. I wish I found them instead of Nevada Orthopeic and Spine Center where I went first. I had continuous problems even after a revision. When I came here both of the surgeons were ready to do what needed to be done. Dr Woodworth told me what was going on with my hip after over 10 yrs of being told it was my spine. Dr Woodworth fixed my hip and Dr Tait fixed all the mistakes in my knee including using the a ceramic knee so I wouldnt have anymore reactions to the metal one that was used twice in my knee from the first surgeon at Nevada Orthopedic and Spine Center who I told I was allergic to metal. Thank you so much Dr Tait and Dr Woodworth.

My Grandmother broke her humorous bone badly and Dr Grondel fixed it, he is so supportive in her recovery and he isnt a Cut and Done Surgeon^ I highly recommend him. You will never guess at what he needs from you to heal, he is a straight shooter!

Dr. Grondel is the BEST! After 2 years of terrible shoulder/bicep pain I was told by another doctor that I would have to get neck surgery. I was very uncomfortable with his diagnosis so I went to Dr Grondel for a 2nd opinion. It took him all of 2 visits to figure out it wasn’t my neck but a rotator cuff tear & frozen shoulder. He performed a surgery & sent me to P.T . Shoulder was good as new after I healed. This man knows what he’s doing and he truly cares for his patients. I’m so thankful I found him or who knows where I’d be.

I had a complete left hip replacement done in December of 2015 by Dr. Hoer. He had come highly recommended through personal references, and now Im happy to say I can also give him the highest references. He and his staff were very attentive and cordial. The surgery was explained in detail so there would be no surprises. The treatment I received at the hospital after surgery was more like a 5 star resort. In all, I was totally pleased with my results, and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Orthopedic Institute of Henderson.

From the time I arrived to when I saw the doctor was 15 minutes. Dr. Hoer was absolutely fantastic! He explained everything to me in a language I could understand, gave me options, and did not rush through the appointment. One of the things that truly impressed me was he looked at me the entire time while an assistant typed into the computer. All the staff at the institute was cordial and carrying. Good job!

Dr. Tate and Dr. Grondel did a combined 5 knee surgeries (ACL reconstruction and bone grafts) on my left knee starting almost 13 years ago. In addition to breaking off a drill bit inside my knee and all the complications I have encountered since then, I would advise new patients to not walk, but run away from these butchers. The staff never returns phone calls and despite combined efforts, medical records have not been sent for over a month since requested. The staff that answers the phone (if they ever do) is incredibly rude and wont hesitate to hang up on you. Avoid at all costs!

Dr. Hoer and his team are unquestionably as good as it gets. Having to deal with a broken ankle or any ailment for that matter can be fearful. This team gave me the highest level of attention throughout and as a result I have total confidence in my healing and recovery. Rarely does an experience affect you in such a way but Ive been looking forward to writing this review and others since, because it stood out on such a level, recognition is warranted. Thank you Dr. Hoer and your wonderful team for doing an exceptional job and moving people like me beyond the fear and well down the road to recovery. I get great and considerate care for my bone and joint needs. Dr. Tait is incredible.

Two knee surgeries by Dr. Hoer over the past 5 years (one on each knee), and numerous office visits. Dr. Hoer and staff are the very best, and have my undying gratitude for the kindness and skill that have made this all bearable.

Dr. Grondel performed a knee surgery that was a complete failure. It was his first time performing such a procedure I wasnt expecting a perfect knee but I am left worse off than before the surgery and I got the feeling that he and his nurses knew it was a botched job emediatly post surgery but were too afraid to tell the truth about it, instead telling me to not do impact on it for 18 months only to find out the surgery did nothing and grondel and his staff knew it all along. I dont write bad reviews but their office doesnt return phone calls and the doc is inaccessible unless you pay $180 zero stars, bad experience.
