Of late I was experiencing extreme tightness and pain in my left shoulder and neck. After doing some research I found James Baylis, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), at Las Vegas Sports Massage. Being a former Division 1 athlete, I am aware of what a knowable and competent therapist could achieve in the way of pain relief and accelerating the healing process. Speaking from personal experience Mr. Baylis is an exceptional therapist. He took his time during the assessment process and through his questions and physical examination was able to isolation the problem. While working to resolve my issue, he responded to my questions discussed the function of the muscle and muscle group and applied the appropriate pressure and massage to relive may discomfort.At the conclusion of my one hour session there was a noticeable reduction in tightness and pain and an increase in mobility. It is my fill intention to book additional sessions with Mr. Baylis until I make a full recovery and continue well after that. I can without any hesitation recommend Mr. Baylis, he is an absolute professional and highly skilled at his craft. He is truly 5 out of 5 stars. James has been a lifesaver! I have lower back issues and being able to have someone who can effectively work on the knots and issues I have is crucial to me being able to continue doing the things I love and getting rid of pain. I had a deep tissue/sports massage from James and he was amazing. I felt relief in my neck, shoulders, and back when the session was over. Slept much better than I usually do that night. He knew how to find and address the problem areas. Ill definitely be back!

5 Stars is not enough! Before I went in and met James I just wanted to lay down,curl up in a ball and die. I was so sore. After a 90 minute session I walked out the office feeling wonderful again. He is very professional, strong enough to make the knots in the muscles go away, and he met with me 1 hour after calling. I am definitely going back.

I’ve had a hard time finding a deep tissue muscle therapist that will actually good deep enough for my muscle tissue. My training is a mix of weight lifting in bodybuilding and powerlifting. Due to the thickness of certain muscle groups most massage therapist wouldn’t go deep enough to relieve tight scar tissue. I was referred to James from a close friend of mine and said he’ll go deep. I was skeptical but I was willing to try it. I explained to James my trouble some areas that have been giving me some limited range of motion during my workouts and muscle contractions I preform. He went above and beyond in assessing my troubled areas. Then he went to work. Went as deep as I wanted and some more. I’ve been more than satisfied in how my mobility has come back and my muscle contractions have been much harder with even better blood flow which gives that awesome pump that many enjoy during lifting. I definitely recommend him.

I suffer from a lot of sports injuries from when I wrestled in college along with lifting and MMA and was in need of help due to my shoulder making a lot of crunching and popping my neck stiffness and back spazzing randomly and after my session I felt amazing especially the next day I felt much more free range of motion and actually able to move my shoulder without any crunching or popping that I had come so used to amazing service will definitely be back again!!!

Torture for a purpose. If you have any trouble moving, injuries, or something sore you will get it worked out. I felt like I got my wings cut off for 4 days afterwards but my neck and shoulders which had been giving me limited range of motion and pain for a year dont hurt any more. This isnt your sweet little spa massage but he definitely knows his stuff and I trust him.
