I had to change eye doctors after 9 years due to insurance. I was not looking forward to this visit because I have problems with my eyes and my other eye doctor knows my case. I hate to admit, but I went in thinking I am not going to like this place etc etc. I WAS WRONG!!! Everyone there was very nice, welcoming and informative. I have now recommended this office to a couple family members. They made the change of doctors so much easier. Highly recommend this office!!!!

Amazing place!!! Maritza helped schedule my family all in for a check up exam and was patient with me and helped figure out which vision plan I had then, discussed pricing and my benefits beforehand so I was aware of what I would be paying upon arrival. All my questions were answered through out the whole process and everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Thanks Theresa for helping my family & I choose the perfect sets of glasses!! You feel like family when you go here. Love this place!!!!

Everyone was pleasant from the time I walked in the door. Making my appointment was easy using their online booking. I got on of the three desired appointments that I wanted. I was in and out in under an hour and I even got a great rebate for my contacts that I purchased. Dr. Lao explained everything perfectly so I knew what was going on with my eyes and offered an easy solution to fix it.

Everyone was helpful and answered all of my questions.The doctor was professional and made me feel at ease.Theresa helped me with picking out my new frames.She gave me her opinion, but I made the choice.She also explained about different types of lenses. So I dont have coke bottle looking lenses.Thank you Theresa for that!The doctors technicians were knowledgeable and took their time explaining the procedures that were going to take place.Did not take long for visit, and did not feel rushedOffice was VERY clean and organized.They offered different procedures, but did were not pushing them.Cant wait to get my new glasses.I would refer anyone to this office!

D r Lau was extremely patient and helpful with my unusual eye problem. He is knowledgeable and willing to work on a solution until my sight is the best it can be.His office is organized and friendly. There is little to no wait time.

The doctors explain everything in lamens terms so you understand what is going on with your eyes. The techs and girls behind the counter make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. I had my annual eye exam and contact fitting, and unfortunately am still blind as a bat. Overall a very easy fun experience that lasted about a total of 90 minutes. 👍

My experience at Optic Gallery was superb! The staff was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and patient. I appreciated their system of keeping themselves and their patients safe in regards to COVID guidelines. All surfaces were being constantly sanitized and all areas of the office looked clean and tidy. I also appreciated the sleek and modern look of the office with the latest technology used for testing and diagnosing. Dr. Lao was personable, perceptive, kind, and attentive. I also encountered Christine, Silvia, Maribel, and Teresa who were all so lovely. Teresa assisted me in purchasing eyeglasses and was patient and provided good insight on which frames suited my face. I highly recommend this practice for all your vision needs!

Dr Lao is the only ophthalmologist I’ll visit. He understands the precise nature of the job I do and takes extra time to dial in my prescription perfectly. I never feel like I’m a bother when I ask questions of him or the technicians.Choosing frames, I tend to take a bit of time but as with the exam, I never feel pressured or rushed. I will pay the extra to feel great about the look and function of my glasses. Five stars.

My daughter has autism. So I was afraid she couldn’t sit for anyone to check her eyes. However, I took her to Optic Gallery to have her eyes checked. Dr. Lao got her attention and guided her through the process in an excellent manner. He spent time to explained about her vision and scheduled for the next therapy session. I really enjoy going to this doctors office. Its clean, well-organized and they provide all the services I expect from an optometrist. The doctor was clear about how to help my dry eyes without medication and he listened and kept trying until he was able to fit me with a set of contacts I liked. Once that happened I went to check out and learned that there prices, while a little on the high side, are fairly competitive and I prefer to keep my money here in my community, so the extra $30 I paid was worth it.I highly recommend Optic Gallery on Stephanie.

I really like this office. My husband and I both go to this one. I like the measures they take to make sure there is no cross contamination and the cleanliness of the office. The girls are very nice and Dr.Lao is great.

Dr. Keith Shimizu is a great Optometrist. I usually don’t want to see an Optometrist because of the lack of specialty skills they lack regarding Refractions such as high Astigmatism and Myopia. At Optical Gallery (Stephanie), he was thorough and efficient. Dr. Shimizu explained everything in great detail and also listened to me. He provided me with the security that he is the best and loves what he does. He didn’t rush through, nor did his staff during this time. I thank you, Dr. Shimizu and the team, for your professionalism and expertise I have not witnessed in a long time.

Emily made buying glasses fun! Gave her opinion, showed me every option I was interested in and when it came down to buying them she was not pushy or pushed me to get something I didn’t need or want! I am still waiting to receive my glasses but my first hand personal experience was this establishment was very professional and had excellent customer service.

Everyone here was extremely kind and efficient. They are doing an amazing job of operating under COVID restrictions and making you feel safe. Dr. Lao was very efficient and helpful in my understanding of my prescription. I have Medicaid and they were able to show me everything that covered and made me feel like it was an easy process! What a great experience! Emily was helpful and very patient while I looked at several styles of eyewear. Above all, she was honest! Very happy I went in to look (by appointment) and very excited to get my glasses in a couple of weeks.

I have never written any reviews before but the bad experience I have from this location (Stephanie St) has to be shared so that the management of this office will have the chance to improve their process and not loose their clients. This location does not deserve any star at all but I am forced me to give one star so It can be posted . Very disorganized , no courtesy to follow up and does not value their patients.Ordered contact lens from this location twice and they both took MONTHS to arrive, either they forgot to order them or they misplaced them, you have to constantly follow up because there was no courtesy that they will keep you informed or at least provide you samples to use since they messed up.

They are really professional and friendly. They answered all my questions and helped me decide on a perfect pair of glasses.

My daughter has been getting vision therapy since she got diagnosed with exotropia. Dr. Lao and Mrs.Paula have really been amazing in answering my questions and also very cautious with the whole covid. My daughter enjoys vision therapy once a week and she always looks forward for it. Mrs. Paula is so sweet and patient and does an amazing job. Dr.Loa is a great doctor as well and I would highly recommend them if anybody needs vision therapy! Thank you for everything ! I’ve seen a big difference in my daughter!

I purchased frames and lenses from the Stephanie location, staff was nice but lense quality was poor, in less than 1 year one lense started delamination and the corner was foggy, it got larger as time went on, Optic Gallery told me its from the heat and past that 90 day warranty. Ive lived and worked in the Las Vegas heat for over 40 years and have never had such an issue, this is clearly a workmanship defect and I will never return.

The entire staff were so kind and patient with my 7 year old daughter and I. I didnt feel rushed while helping my daughter sort through many glasses looking for the perfect fit. Thank you Michelle and staff for the great service. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends.

Went in to get an annual check-up on my eyes this morning and it was lovely! Ralph, one of the technicians, warmly greeted me at the door. He was kind, friendly, professional, and made me feel right at home as soon as I entered the doors. I had so many questions (way too many) and he was able to answer everything calmy and genuinely. Thank you so much for being so and patient knowledgable! He even helped to keep me distracted while I did that puff eye test thing! Haha! Dr. Shimizu performed some tests during the 2nd part of the exam. He was very kind and knowledgeable. I appreciate that he did not make my perscription too strong (as Ive been through that before in another place). What did he instead was strive to keep me comfortable as possible with my upgraded perscription. Thank you so much! And thank you to the very kind worker with the awesome glasses who helped to show me a few glass frames in the front.. I didnt buy anything but I may be back to look again at the selection. Please tell her I said thank you as well!! :)

Emily was fantastic! She helped get us in quickly, get things squared away with the s$&tshow that is THT insurance, and with assisting my my family in selecting my daughters glasses.

We were able to book an eye exam in the same day. The procedure for the office due to covid19 was very appropriate. Made me feel very confident to go for my son and also very friendly staff. I will most definitely be coming here for my familys optical needs.

Dr. Lao & his team are nothing short of amazing. Best customer service & patient care you could ask for. Dr. Lao explains any condition you may have in a way you can understand & provides treatment plans that actually work. They also offer Vision Therapy that is far more advanced than any other. If you have an eye issue, vision problems, or think you do, see Dr. Lao.

This optical is a hot mess, they don’t give you accurate information on your coverage and try to make you pay for things that ARE COVERED by your insurance. Had I not asked for a print out and showed them that it IS covered I would have paid.On top of that they took almost 6months to give my wife her contacts, then they messed up her eye glasses order and she ended up paying almost $400 for their mistake, and it took them 2 months to give my wife her glasses. I will never come here again.

They could not provide me accurate information when I called in. After I scheduled an appointment with them they emailed me a bunch of forms that asked for a lot of additional information that was not necessary for an eye exam. They tried to get me to agree to their privacy policy without providing it to me. Once I arrived they were difficult to deal with and refused service to me when I asked them for the privacy policy.

The doctor has examined my little one twice and both visits have been positive. The doctor is so kind and patient and passionate about his job. He always provides so much fascinating information about how our eyes work. The staff is also very nice; the office is never crowded and clean. I have nothing but good to say about this place.

Covid update: still easy to schedule even last the day before. Constantly cleaning facilities and utilizing other health procedures like waiting in your car rather than the lobby till your appointmentReally easy to schedule an appointment and theyre open on Saturday which is awesome. Very friendly staff and they helped me pick out new frames in a short period of time. I got my glasses in about 2 weeks (10 business days or so) and theyre great. Super clean and they have water and coffee while you wait.

Dr Lao is so sweet and great with my two boys. I really appreciate her personality and kindness. Staff is very educated and easy to talk to.

Dr. Joseph Lao at the Stephanie Street location is extraordinary. Ive been very nearsighted my whole life. Ten years ago, my vision got worse - it was very different in each eye, and I was experiencing a lot of dizziness and instability. Other doctors had no solutions. Dr. Lao was recommended to me by the folks at Fyzical. He listened carefully, tried multiple things and found adjustments which made all the difference for me. He does so much more than others to understand and customize a prescription. Ive seen him for three years and wont go anywhere else again.

I had a great experience. Evrn though my 1st pair of glasses were off. They got me in right away for a recheck. They fixed the problem and I received my glasses with out no problems. Service was greet. Staff and Dr were awesome. Id recommend optic gallery for your glasses needs.

Dr. Lao is absolutely the best at what he does. He understands your problems and is very compassionate of them. He is our optometrist and my vision therapy doctor. He understands how the brain works and explains what you are going through in laymans terms. So thankful that we found him. He is THE BEST!!!
