I have a eating disorder in which my body will not will not tell me Im hungry and can go days at a time without eating..... they bent over backwards to get us inside and get me something/anything for me past closing....they were all so kind and understanding as he struggled to pick out something different, thank you again for being the best dispensary!!!! Stellar. I ordered delivery just before 6 and they still managed to fit me in that evening. The gentlemen that both called me to inform me of timing, and whom delivered the product were super polite and very professional. ALSO, $60 MINIMUM FOR DELIVERY. I went on a road trip to Indianapolis and on the way home I saw the billboard “just a stoned throw away” it’s true it is so close to the expressway. Service was great and fast. Prices were reasonable to other places I’ve been.

Scott helped me understand the different types of marijuana that would help me with my sleep disorder, anxiety and pain Management. The edibles are a wonderful product for sleep and anxiety. They come in variety of flavors. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! The dispensary is a very neat interesting place that has everything that you would want and more. I am very happy I stopped by to check it out and will be back when I come visit Michigan again. Masks are required and sanitation is also a necessity there to make sure everyone stays safe.

As a former budtender back in my college days this is the best dispensary I’ve been to in Michigan. The best bud in the metro Detroit area and the service is top knotch. A cannabis connoisseur but wanted to get into tinctures and edibles and received a thorough breakdown from Olivia. Loyalty program is dope too.

The pricing was definitely as reasonable as it gets (all recreational marijuana is pricey wherever you go). Their customer service is on point, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Online ordering/curbside pickup process was very simple and seamless. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

I moved to Michigan in April and I’ve been to QUITE a few dispensaries and this is the best BY FAR!!! Cleanliness, Quickness, and most importantly FRIENDLY!!! From Curbside pickup and never having to leave your car to going inside and talking with employees About what to get this is my FAVORITE place to buy my stuff anymore. By far MY New Standard. They dont take credit cards or let you smell the buds. Its federally legal for marijuana establishments to accept credit cards as of last year but they said the compliance officer wont allow it. Competitors let the customer do all the things listed above. They only had 9 different bud/flower varieties for recreational. If theyre selling an edible product with say 100mg and the thing youre buying has 90mg you have to pay full price. Its up to the store to demand a discount from the supplier. My advice is call ahead with questions about those things. Maybe theyll loosen up in the future. Good central location for metro Detroit area.

High volume, high energy place. Staff is fairly knowledgeable and very helpful. It just felt a little... Overwhelming. I had a lot of questions, but restrictions due to pandemic made communication slightly difficult and I felt somewhat pressured to quickly make my selections. However, the place was very clean and organized. Definitely geared more towards high-end cannisseurs; not for the uninitiated.

The bud tender helped my friend pick out gummies for her pain, they actually worked so that was a huge help. I like that you can go inside and you dont have to order online. Staff has all been very nice. Like other reviews state, it is pretty expensive, but I suppose weed is effected by inflation too

Smelled like they were having a sewer issue but they were nice and the Peach Crescendo smokes well.

There is quite a bit more to a dispensary then their product and prices. New Standard is a great example of how it should be done! At this place you dont have to be a pot expert to get what you want. Each staff memeber is a great resource to help you find out whats possible and whats available.

I bought roughly 8 g of their weed and upon getting at home I see that it is very dry and brittle and crumbles upon touching it I checked the expiration date and it expires in a month. When the original owners had this place their flower it was always fresh never stale never crumbled up on touching let alone do not expire until at least nine months out I am now out of money and now I have to find a new Shop as medical marijuana is the only thing that helps me with my multiple sclerosis don’t waste your time on these people unless you want old stale weed

Order is shorted. Third time and order has fell short and it is hard to feel like casual accidents now. The first eight I was shorted a male manager acted like a thug and I was trying to scam them!Super annoyed, possibly my last order with them! Too much money I spent to not be upset.Buyers be warned, check your bag before leaving!

I really like New Standard they have a very good product line. My compliant is one more than one occasion on the cell conversation I am addressed by the men there as a guy. So I have a mellow voice. Maybe some senaitivity training in professional phone etiquette would be advantageous so more stars could be earned ?

There is top of the line product here that I have yet to see at any other dispensary I’ve been to. The display is out of this world, it reminds me of an Apple store but for all your cannabis needs! SUPPORT UNION! Really pleased with my experience here. I have barely any marijuana experience, and was helped by the knowledgeable and courteous staff I talked with over the phone. I placed an online order and the parking lot pickup experience was simple and fast. I will be going back here, especially since their workers are given fair union options and practices.

They carry and support brands that are involved in the mcma. The mcma is a lobbyist group in Michigan that wants to take away patient rights and limit home grows. They are trying to go against the Michigan voters to create an overpriced market place which they control. Dont support mcma brands or people that carry their products.

This was my first visit to a dispensary. Everyone was friendly, the vibe was welcoming and Covid measures to keep everyone safe Angie was our shopper attendant. She was friendly, patient and super knowledgeable. I forgot that this is a cash only business but dont fret there is an ATM located inside. They also offer senior citizen discounts. Will be back!

Im giving 3 stars only to be fair. The establishment is nicely setup and the staff is fairly nice. With that being said seems like the product is getting worst. The Platinum Jelly is molded. Worst smoking experience that I have had, period. Dont ask me any questions regarding your product, its in your store... CHECK IT! Keep the lame automated google review responses also. Do not apologize for trying to sell it. 5 star potential doomed due to 1 star greed. Dont do this to your customers. I will not be returning after this. I spend good at this place weekly. Too good to accept this.

I tried New Standard within a week after they started offering products for recreational use. Initially I thought they were going to give the neighborhood competition a run for their money. While their customer service is worth 5 stars, their prices deserve 1 star. For the last few months they have consistently been the highest priced for flowers. $70 for an eighth and $30+ for a gram have become the norm. Consequently, I cant recommend this business to anyone who cares about getting value for their money. At the end of the day you wont experience any actual benefits of spending 30%+ more for a brand name.

Super convenient to just pull up and get curbside pickup for free. Also free delivery. Good website and the employees are really nice! Even gave a treat to my pup.

Prices are way too high they do not have the best medical or recreational marijuana thats available that includes waxes flower and vape. Their prices are just outrageous go on Weedmaps and look for Deals they want $55 for a cart and you can go by 4 for a hundred you just have to look for the deals WeedMaps will take you to the right location but this place is ripping people off. Been smoking for 40 years you can get better products from Old School ways.

How nice is it to go to a store that has such a large selection, and yet no clutter. Found what I came for quickly & was out shortly, even with a wait. Wonderful crew for a wonderful shop.

I have ordered from new standard for the past 2 years and have spent over 1k there. Today the driver was so upset he couldn’t find my apartment unit that he was so incredibly rude to my husband and I. I usually tip my drivers $10 for their troubles but this guy was way outta line. I can’t believe this person works for New Standard Dispensary, when everyone at the store display nothing but the best customers service. He should be fired!!! He left suck a bad taste in my mouth.

Today was my first time at New Standard. Their curbside pickup system is perfect. Very organized and efficient, and they have great customer service. Will definitely be back.

The weed here is pretty average, though with their prices you’d expect it to be amazing. Sadly they have some of the most “meh” weed in the state, and every last gram of it is grossly overpriced. They try to get around this by acting like they’re some higher standard, but they’re the furthest thing from it. They buy the same weed as every other dispensary, with a few notable exceptions that they’re lacking, and typically with some sort of up charge. Their staff are friendly enough, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a dispensary who’s staff aren’t so that’s not really a plus, just more mediocrity.The only thing setting new standard apart is their insulting prices, which sadly some of you are happy to pay. Save yourself the money, buy from anywhere else.

This is a nice place to get all your 420 essentials. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The loyalty program is pretty fair, and once in a while youll catch the staff in a good mood, theyll hook it up extra. The products and pricing here are way better compared to other places like Breeze and Liv. The Flower at New Standard is always head and shoulders above what they usually have at those other places in the area. Great place would recommend to all my friends, or anyone visiting the area. New Standard for the win.
