After bad experiences with other endocrinologists in the area, I made the switch over to Dr. Palla in this medical group. She helped me work with my diabetes and get onto a system that worked better for me. My HbA1c has dropped significantly, and she hasnt tried to put me on experimental medications like the other endocrinologists in the area (ahem ahem Dr D.) who get motivated by drug companies to promote type 2 medications for application on type 1 patients.I appreciate being listened to and heard, and the level of care shown along the entire pathway through this office has been wonderful...from the front desk to the nurses, to the lab techs, and the doctor. They have all been kind, welcoming, and responsive to my needs and requests.

I was diagnosed about a month ago with hyperthyroidism. I found dr palla and she was able to get me in right away which was amazing. She did her best to listen but I felt i wasn’t being heard. The next week I developed hives from my medication and she didn’t seem to help. I needed a sterioid and she wouldn’t call me back nor tell me what I should do. The pharmacist who was a complete stranger to me at this point had to call and reach out to get me a prescription. She put me on the only other anti thyroid medication which is TERRIBLE for you and she never tested my levels or anything. I got referred to a dr in orland park and he tested my levels and changed me back to the original anti thyroid medication and my levels dropped significantly. Dr palla wouldn’t even had known that to this day because she said she wanted to see me in a month.. This disorder is meant to be monitored and checked often for this reason. The office staff is rude and no one calls me back or takes me seriously. I would recommend to not trust your health in her hands, but I do hope this is something she can improve on for her future patients.
