Worst Service Ever. Waited over a month for my glasses that were incorrect when they added 2 different lenses in them, then they decided my lense that wasnt used in the first place was on back order. Then on another pair of glasses the lense were not placed in the frames correctly.. I asked management for answers they blame the warehouse who basically has no consequences for thier errors. I wasnt slow on paying for my glasses so why am I waiting over a month for thier screw up.. Im beyond annoyed and disappointed with thier service.

Do not go here. I needed lenses reinstalled in a new pair of 200 dollar Oakley frames and the first thing she did was use the wrong size screw driver and stripped the head off the frame screw. Handed them back to me and told me to go elsewhere. If your not am experienced frame technician you dont have any business with a screwdriver in your hand. Now I have to send them back to Oakley for repair. Their lab made the lenses and installed them in my first pair of the same frame I provided. This is why I went back to them to install the lenses into new frames.

Wow! That was very easy!They have streamlined their service to perfection! I appreciated that they take guests temperatures, require a mask, and dispense hand sanitizer for you! I felt safe.Andrea was very kind and professional. She answered my million questions! She was patient, and spoke enthusiastically. Good energy.A++++++++++++++

When filling out the online form one of the questions is do you require assistance or have a disability that my require assistance and also if you are over a certain age (I am 70 with knee and back injury and walk with a cane). I indicated both. When I arrived the receptionist was great. After the paper work she escorted me to the exam room. The other lady told me to have a seat. The chair was low and small. I told her if I sat in the chair I wouldnt be able to get up because it was too low and due to my condition. She said we dont have any other chair or thats the only chair I have. I paused because I thought she would offer to find another one, but she just looked at me. I said well I guess I wont be getting any glasses here and I left. As I walked out there were several other chairs that could have been temporarily brought in the exam room to accommodate me. I dont think I would have been nearly as annoyed if the questionnaire didnt specifically ask the question. My granddaughter called and spoke to the manager and they offered to help if I came back. I declined.I sat in my car because my daughter was still there having an exam.

They called and sent repeated text to remind me of my 115pm appmnt.Came today and have been waiting to be assisted for over a half hour.I rushed over here and arrived at 105pm. It is now 145pm. Still waiting.When I asked how long is the appointment because I have other appointments today? The rep/ supervisor, Lo, said that if I have to go I can reschedule my appointment....really? I drove an hour to get here.Still sitting here... now 147pm. No one apologizing for this inconvenience.

I shouldve went to walmart had problems from the very beginning.3 adults and 1 teenager out of 8 pair of glasses 4 pairs we have had problems with and very poor service to try to fix it. At Wal-Mart for 1 year if there is a issue with the frames they replace it free and prices are about the same and much better customer service

I really like the doctor here but honestly the staff at this location are not professional. Its rare that I leave happy from this location. The staff have a lazy nonchalant attitude that makes it really hard to work with. I feel like I have to pull nails and teeth in order to get the proper service I require. Any question I have becomes a bigger problem in order to get an answer.

Ohhhh my goodness,😃 so I took my glasses to Americas Best to fix my glasses was leaning like a knocked kneed Donkey cant even stay on my face. So Andrea fix it so good when she gave me back my glasses it was like and new.. Yesy also assisted me on another day when I picked up my new prescriptions I ordered 4 glasses at separate date and they ALL came in at the same time very early to my surprise. I also was assisted by Jason oh my gosh he is soooo polite and helpful and patient I stayed in there till close🤗 trying to find the right style,fit,and colour glasses that fit my style and personality. Jason was sooo helpful in giving me ideas he knew what I liked. I was satisfied with my (4) new pairs. Anytime you need to go in to Americas Best on OceanGate ask for , Jason,Yesy,or Andrea.👌🏾😃

If I could give a 0 I would. Don’t ever go here for an eye exam. They are a total rip off. Went to get new glasses once I got them they were very blurry. They told me oh your eyes have to adjust, well they didn’t. So they wanted me to try contacts which I did and same thing, and now they are saying they won’t give me a refund. Instead now there saying I need another prescription which is way more money. Total BS. Would not refer this place to anyone

Worst costumer service ever! I accidentally ordered my contacts over the phone with that specific store (I usually go to their Torrance location and never had an issue). They had my contacts for over 2 weeks and never called to tell me they had arrived, I had to track down my contacts myself. To top it off when I called to verify if my contacts were actually there Im put on hold for almost 15 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone, I actually had to hang up and call again! And when I asked them why they never did their job and called me to let me know my contacts had arrived they have no answer for me and seemed to not give two cents about my frustration, getting a well there here when ever you want to pick them up. Really!!!! The audacity. Do NOT go to that location, staff is very unprofessional. Ive never experienced anything like this with Torrance location. This location can learn a thing or two from the Torrance location. The Torrance location staff are really polite and on top of their job.

Worst experience every I have. They dont ever deserve a 1 star. I have account with americas best which I paid for 3 years and which will expire in end of 2019.We visited this Americas best Rosecrans Oceangate branch, Hawthorne CA in the month of march 2018Firstly, they had behaved very bad specially the optometrist, as they just wanted to sell their eyeglasses and contacts without proper check up and was giving very rude answers.They could not handle us well and instead made us wait for 1 hour and more only for checking my eye power. They asked us for more money for other eye check up which usually other America’s best branches never charged.There are few customers came behind us and they make them go also before us.They also said that we will call you in 1 or 2 days and will inform you about the prescription and will give it to you. As of today after 3 MONTHS+ passed and no one from their office cared to call to us to give the updates about the prescription Nor the next steps to follow. Everyone can understand how irresponsible and careless they are towards their customer. Whole staff was not good as seems they don’t like the high paying customers comes to their branch. In addition, worst experience we are having with optometrist DR. PHILIPS as he did not check proper nor he cared to give a proper guidance and instead without checking proper documents he told us to go somewhere else. His behavior was somewhat very rude to their members who has paid the membership for 3 years. How pathetic? Request to all the people out there don’t take their membership as they will not care once you pay to them!!

I was looking forward to receiving the care I needed at this establishment. The facility was well kept, but unfortunately that was the only thing that I found to be well. During my experience here, I was confronted with discrimination, judgement, unprofessionalism, and flat out rudeness from the staff.The receptionist spoke to us indifferently. I feel she assumed we were less than, or lacked money due to our clothing and color of our skin. We felt judged and she treated us as less then. She was condescending when asking questions such as, Do you need to see the price Can you pay for this and Do you have the means to pay for this. I felt totally disrespected and she made my Grandma feel ashamed and rushed. She did not provide us the respect and support to confidently shop for frames. She was also not well informed and did help my Grandma look for frames and made my Grandma feel rushed to pick whatever as fast as she could because she felt as if she was a BOTHER to the staff. This was my Grandmas first time picking out frames and the staff was not helpful nor well informed. The staff did not assist my Grandma to look for the proper fitting and frames and left us feeling overwhelmed.Also, during the eye exam. There was a lack of knowledge when I asked about certain tests and what they pertained to. Instead of getting a clear explanation, I was given prices. When asked, What does that test do the staff responded, This test is (this price), that test is (that price). I did not ask for the price, so why do you keep presenting me with prices. This made me question the staff and their intentions. Also, other staff members kept walking in during the exam without knocking or proper manners.This made me wonder why the staff was money oriented and not more concerned with the care of their customers? I felt belittled for the way they treated me and my grandmother and do not suggest this place what so ever. I experienced discrimination at Americas Best Contacts and Eyeglasses and my Grandmother felt it as well. From the time I spoke to the receptionist to the time the optometrist saw my Grandmother- we were given zero customer service. My Grandma is elderly and luckily I was there to help her through this herrendous experience.

Very disappointed with my experience at this location with the representative I had named Zen. Usually I go to the torrance location for glasses and contacts and never had an issue. I purchased clear glasses with basic lenses, I never needed any anti glare on my other glasses. I received my glasses today and noticed that the glare on these were insane maybe because the whole glasses are clear plastic. I went into the location to speak about upgrading my glasses to an anti reflective lens. The rep Zen said I could no longer do it because the purchase was already completed. He offered me a another pair of glasses for 40% off which puts me at about 110$ or to just simply rebuy the lens for 50$ for both left and right (which I already paid in the first place) plus the additional 50$ for anti glare/reflective. So that also put me at an additional 100$ so either way Im screwed. I saw there was a return policy and after speaking to my husband he reminded that for his purchase at the Torrance location they added the anti reflective for him by him just paying the difference. I called customer care and they informed me it could be done and they were not sure why the rep told me otherwise and tried to upsell me. Called back this location spoke to the rep again and when I let him know what the customer service told me, he sounded irritated but suprised and said its not policy but we can go ahead and do it for you I expressed to him my disappointment in having to go the extra mile to get my glasses the way I wanted them. I felt mislead and that the rep wasnt trying to help just trying to get an additional sale out of me. He kept talking about policy but never mentioned it up until I essentially caught him lying to me. I never once blamed him or anyone but myself for needing to upgrade to anti glare again it wasnt something I knew I needed until wearing my glasses for a few hours. I picked them up today around 12pm and went back around 5:30 and at 6 pm called back and now he can fix them for me so unprofessional and unethical. And to boot I said thank you Ill just go to another location and he clicked on me. Some people cant handle customer service jobs. The other location would have never given me a hard time or trying to upsell me

Too long didnt read:Im writing this because my experience was so bad and Im worried about someone in my similar situation walls in there they will be taken advantage of. If youre looking for an optometrist that has a genuine concern for the well-being of their patients and is less concerned about their bottom line than this place isnt for you, my entire experience theyre letting me to believe that this place is very unethical and has no problem taking advantage of every person that walks through the doorI preface this my saying when I decide to review a business, its either because my experience was incredible, or incredibly horrible. My experience here was incredibly horrible. Im not a new contact lens wearer and I have a very strong astigmatism, which limits my options considerably. the only lenses I found to be comfortable for my eyes are called biofinity toric by coopervisionDeception I:The doctor did not order these for me, she ordered their store brand toric lenses without informing me she was doing so. Yes I was clear about the exact brand.Deception II:They told me that they had a contract with coopervision that allowed them to use their biofinity lenses and repackage them under their own store brand name. its the same material but it is most definitely not the same lenses I did some digging online and basically what I found was theyre using some kind of older lens technology using the same material. I I dont understand the reason this would be but the thing I do know is that they were not the same lenses because they were extremely uncomfortable,dry and I could barely wear them throughout the whole day without having to take them off and put my glasses back on Trust me these are definitely not the same lenses.Deception III:As we were being checked out the floor person who was helping us did not tell us that there was an exam only price and tried to sell us the more expensive vision plan without giving us all the information. not to mention that she had no idea how to work the computer system so we sat there for about 45 minutes while she tried to save face before finally asking her manager to come help her.EDIT: Lots of typos, sent from my phone using text-to-speech

There Lab is terrible. I visited place for making glasses & I found its wrong no they put on glasses ... they did not charge me but now I have to chk my no again & order new glasses more waiting & going back & forth stay away..!!
