I had hand braces made over four years ago and needed some minor assistance with them. I returned today to find a welcoming team ready to lend their healing hands. They are educated, kind, always looking out for the client, and make you feel like you are in good hands. They know their stuff like they know the back of their hands. My famous, double-jointed/crooked fingers are not easy to work with but the C.J. Allen team has the skills needed to make sure that they are doing everything to assist the patient by providing them with the latest techniques customized for the individual. The staff at CJ Allen are great. They are very helpful, friendly, skilled and work with you. I have seen great improvement with my hand since I started with them. I would highly recommend them for PT.

I went to C.J. Allen OT Upper Extremity & Hand Therapy following several different procedures; The first two occasions was for custom formed casts following hand surgery. The most recent was for shoulder therapy for a torn rotator cuff. CJ was able to relieve a muscle spasm that had been hurting for years, and may have strained the ligament thereby causing the tear. Relieving the spasm relieved the strain on the ligament and eliminated the pain. CJ and his staff were all very professional and attentive. I highly recommend them if you need hand and/or shoulder therapy. M J Ben...

The staff at C.J. Allen OT Upper Extremity & Hand Therapy is excellent! They are all very kind and polite. The CHTs (Certified hand therapists) are highly skilled and knowledgeable! So is Olivia! I will definitely return! And just so you know, this review is coming from a PT, DPT so I know what I’m talking about!

CJ, Matt and the staff are absolutely wonderful. I called to begin PT and got an appointment quickly. CJ and Matt are so careful providing the therapy and they are both so enthusiastic about the progress. We have to wear our mask - I wish they could see me smiling! The gym is clean, bright and welcoming. When you arrive during this pandemic, your temperature is taken and you are asked to wash your hands. I highly recommend CJ Allen OT Upper Extremity and Hand Therapy.

Exceptional care. Both physical therapists as well as their assistants were amazing. Additionally they are just plain-good people. If I could give them 6 stars I would. I am extremely satisfied with my results. They were also very nice and friendly.

I’ve been to many places throughout my life. After having my surgery and going to one place for therapy and basically not doing anything but putting cream in my hand. Since going to C.J Allen I finally have gotten more range of my wrist and dealing with less pain. I recommend them for therapy. Tom

Amazing place to receive physical therapy. C.J., Matt, and Olivia were incredible in how personable and knowledgeable they are. They get to know their clients, and are very good about explaining how your injury is affecting your pain level and range of motion on an understandable level. They also create a positive and fun atmosphere at their place, making it an enjoyable experience. I recovered rapidly due to their treatment, and would highly recommend them.

Wonderful therapists, they give you so much time and expert help so that you can reach your goals. The office staff are very pleasant too. I would highly recommend them.Update: 6 months later and I still love these guys. They have worked so hard on my injury and today I was able to get back on my bike and ride 24 miles with my biking club. So happy!

It was one year yesterday, June 24th, that I fell and shattered the humerus bone of my right arm, which was my dominant arm. On the 27th my wonderful surgeon Dr. Phillip Guillen repaired my arm with a plate and approximately 11 screws. Just two weeks later he told me I had to begin therapy, and he said he would only send me to CJ Allen and no one else. I am so glad that he did because CJ and his terrific team of therapists - Matt and Olivia - over the next five months - took me from not being able to do anything with my arm to being able to do almost everything. Yes, of course, the therapy was at times quite painful, but I felt I was in a very safe place to feel and even express that pain - sometimes a bit loudly. I was encouraged all the way and treated very compassionately and professionally. I also was surprised that I had such a good time at CJ’s while I did whatever exercises he gave me. I completed my therapy with CJ six months ago, and I have diligently been doing my exercises ever since. As I told CJ, I will be forever grateful to him for helping me and actually giving back to me the use of my arm. I hope his business continues tp thrive so many more people can have the wonderful experience I had.

Was cared for by the incredible OTs here for about 7 weeks after healing from broken hand and wrist. They are all excellent: CJ, Matt and Olivia were the OTs who consistently worked with me. They have an excellent knowledge of the intricacies of the hand and pushed me to gain strength and range of motion.They care and are professional but also make the atmosphere light. They really seem to take a personal interest in each patient.I enjoyed my time with them and am back to full function with my hand and wrist.

I had had surgery on my hand back in March and my doctor (DR.Andrew Leo..the best!!) recommended C.J. for therapy. From day 1 they were so professional and extremely nice and made my whole experience the best. I always looked forward to going to physical therapy always. Had 27 sessions after shoulder surgery. The office was the most pleasant medical office I have ever been in. The staff are beyond courteous and efficient, they are personable and understanding of their clients discomfort and concerns. I cant say enough about CJ and Matt, despite my complaining and Crying, they remained positive and encouraged me to go just a little bit more. Their professionalism and empathy for the clients pain and limitations are key to reaching a return to normal ADLs. Today I have my arm back thanks to these great therapists!

C.J. is so caring and compassionate. He worked so carefully with my daughter pushing her to regain strength but understanding her discomfort. I was very pleased with the empathy he showed and the concern for her well being.

CJ and staff are THE best at Occupational Therapy. They truly care!

CJ is a miracle worker!!! I had a very serious injury (wrist fx, plate, 12 screws, compartment syndrome and finally, a fasciotomy.) The OT I was going to - part of the hospital outpatient rehab (St Catherines ortho rehab) - was terrible, but thats another review..... I was so lucky to be referred to CJ and his staff (Matt and Jesse are awesome!). My doc said if you want someone whos going to get you there (recovery), its CJ Allen, but its going to hurt like hell. SIGN ME UP. I worked very hard with CJ and at times, cried in pain but I told him to keep going as I cried. I stayed and did therapy each visit for as long as he would let me. My injury was very painful - 3 surgeries in 2 days - and the fasciotomy - I could barely move my fingers, period. Within a week or 2, CJ had made so much progress it was mindblowing. I did all the homework he gave me. I saw the doctor again, 1 month later, and he was AMAZED. Simply AMAZED. My progress continued and I am happy to say that even though the doc said I should get 85% range back from such a bad injury, I am 100% back to NORMAL - actually BEYOND NORMAL with range of motion and getting strength back. I am an avid surfer and yogi and I need 100%, period.CJ is very nice, intelligent, listens, is patient, and - just a miracle worker. No one (who needs OT) should go anywhere else. I am so lucky I found him. I am forever grateful.

After suffering from a hand injury I found matt and Cj. I can honestly say they have restored the function back in my hand and I would reccoemend them to anyone in search of a awesome occupational/hand therapist.
