He does NOT deserve a star!! If a zero was available that is what he should get. He does not have the knowledge in vascular surgury. Please do not go to Douglas H Bryan of Mercy Health in Harvard. He can do simple surgeries but not vascular. He and his staff mistreated my husband after his AAA and blockage surgery. Then they decided to send him to Mercy Health in Rockford where he passed away but not peacefully. His surgery was June 15, 2020 in Mercy Health in Harvard and died in Rockford on June 17, 2020 at a Mercy Health. He did not even follow my Power Of Attorney papers with my instructions.

He does not deserve even a one star!!! He does not know what he is doing there. He does not have the skills or knowledge of what to do when an emergency happens. He sends his patients to other hospitals instead of caring for them himself. When asking questions instead of being polite he was very disrespectful and yelled at my mom and I. He didnt explain anything to us the correct way instead he would compare them to car accidents. The staff as well was lazy and extremely rude to my father after his AAA and blockage surgery. Then moved him to Mercy Health in Rockford where he passed away.

Just finished helping my wife, she had a colonoscopy. They were better than the WI hospital that did mine. Good job!

Dont use this hospital if you are a senior citizen. My mother-in-law had a heart stress test scheduled and the heart Dr. office called the day prior to say Medicare would only cover 80%and she would be liable for $1,800. Mother in law asked why Tricare (her secondary insurance) didnt cover the balance, and the representative from the Dr. office said she didnt check that. So, the appointment needed to be cancelled while the office checked what they should have checked in the first place prior to scaring my 80 year old mother in law with a charge she cannot afford. Hopefully, the delay in testing wont be detrimental to her health.

Went in after a minor motorcycle accident to get checked out and cleaned up, staff was very rude and made comments that were very inappropriate. Never looked at fingers i told them were probably broken, was more concerned that i didnt file a police report for my accident. If i had known id be treated this way i would have traveled to another hospital.

I took in my one year old with a 104 fever on a Saturday night. The doctor said it was my fault because I was under dosing her. He continued to have the nurse give her a full dose (of what he said was the correct amount) of acetaminophen and ibuprofen. I took her in to her primary care a few weeks after for shots and the doctor told me if needed to give her some acetaminophen I could do so. I asked him if the dosage of 5ml was okay since that is what I was told at the ER and he worried and said that it was not correct that for her to receive that high of a dose she would need to be at least 10lbs heavier and proceeded to give me the correct dose which is the original amount I had given her before we went to the ER.

I was here in the ER. Everybody here was so lovely! The nurses checked on my frequently to see if I needed anything and were just super sweet and made me feel a lot more comfortable. Its a very small ER but from what Ive seen it makes everything go a LOT faster. Would highly recommend

Mercyhealth Hospital is a jewel. Executing the follow at a level above the rest not your ordinary small town facility. Emergency services, same day surgery, out patient infusion, wound care, and miscellaneous medical care, inpatient hospitalization including some ICU services and an extended care facility for physical rehabilitation with a individualized and hands on care approach delivered by excedently competent medical and nursing professionals. Very patient and family centered/focus, a place where you will never feel like a number or just a patient

Small-town hospital with an emergency room, 10 regular hospital beds and an unknown number of intensive care beds. (I saw the sign.) Staff is friendly and has time to make the experience personal. On the other hand, if one person calls in sick, they might have to send you to another hospital in the Mercyhealth system. Also, please be aware that Mercyhealth is a Catholic healthcare system, so if you are female they may not properly treat tou if you have female problems. For example, if you are bleeding because of an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage, you might be better off going elsewhere.

As a Physical Therapist I worked there for 22 years. In those 22 years, I never missed a day of work. They let me go with the explanation Its just not working out! When I asked whats not working out, they had no answer! No wonder if you look at Mercy Health Systems web site for job openings, the list goes on and on. It seems retention is a real problem, I wonder why?

My husband had a very serious surgery. The surgeon, nurses and techs were like hanging out with family. I believe my husband made it through that health issue because of Dr. Bryan and the team of professionals at Mercy Harvard.

This hospital has constantly failed my family throughout my life living in Harvard. From them telling us a finger was simply jammed and we traveled to Woodstock to find out it was fractured to most recently of my mother falling. They performed an xray and said nothing was wrong but simply she was sore, gave her a walker. We had to go to the ER in Woodstock where they verified she had two broken ribs and two fractures to her vertebrae. This place is a sitting malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen. Do NOT go here if you can help it.

One morning I went numb from waist down and could barely make it into the ER with help. The doctor came in,asked what they could do for me.I told her that I went numb. She said, well,we cant do anything for you here.As we were trying to leave she said she could give me a walker. That is it,she never touched me,did not ask anymore questions and the bill was more than 600.00.She spent less than 5 minutes with me.
