Had a great camping experience at Quail Creek. Beautifully laid out sites with gravel roadways and gravel to park on. Sites were level and each one had a concrete patio with picnic table and fire pit. The bathhouse was very clean and spacious with individual bathrooms and showers. Laundry area was clean with easy access. Camp hosts were very friendly and responsive to needs and requests. Looking forward to returning soon.

I cant wait to come back to this place. Cleanest place we have been on our month long journey as far as showers, restrooms and laundry facilities go. The lady in charge of cleaning is a clean freak. I gave her compliments for sure. The laundry machines are brand new and it only costs $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. Period. No extra charge if you need to dry your clothes longer. We played golf on their 18 hole course and it was a reasonable rate and a lot of fun. There is also a beautiful church on the property and a pool for your enjoyment. Very kind staff at every place we met them. I highly recommend this place. We will be guests again for sure.

Great wedding venue. My daughter said her Wedding Day was perfect - more than I could have hoped for. Great facilities: Chapel for the ceremony and Pavilion for the reception. Angela is great at making it come together - pointing us to the best local vendors, putting the flowers together and the catering and dining setup was excellent. All this at a very good price value for everything we received.

Came here Saturday evening at 5 to play a round with the bros. They’re closed. It’s the middle of summer. Who closes a golf course at 5pm at the best possible time of day to golf in the middle of summer?? Obviously I can’t leave a good course review because I don’t know how it is. So here’s what I can give…

Quail Creek has been a partner of Valley Rubber for almost two decades (Leadership Development, Company Picnics, Church Services, Business Meetings, Team Building, Crises Support, and more). I don’t know of a resort anywhere else on the planet that offers the variety of services, extreme flexibility, and true southern hospitality like Quail Creek. The staff is amazing!!!

We, a family of five, spent 7 months at this campground and loved it. It’s a quiet golf course with a pool and a playground. The staff are really what make this place run great. They’re all wonderful but Mrs Leydia brings a special light to the whole place. Their bathroom/showers are clean and they have a workout facility. They have an on-site church that’s just darling. I hope there’s a reason to stay there again one day.

Farthest thing from a resort! Checked in 10 minutes ago for a few days away to celebrate our anniversary. Was thrown off by the less than resort like atmosphere that is advertised on the website. Called back up to the office to talk to the owner Matt to advise that the description of what was being advertised didnt match what was presented and we wouldnt be staying. His response was he was not responsible for my happiness and wed made our decision to leave already he didnt care. Judging by his lack of concern when a customer reached out to address, Im happy we made the decision to leave. I find it hard to believe there are thousands of people who rave about us, as he indicated.

My husband found this wonderful place for an overnight stay to Gulf Shores last week and we really enjoyed our short stay that night in their rooms. We had to to leave GS because of weather and was able to get a site and ended up staying two nights to relax and enjoy. Wonderful place. We were able walk their property, read and meet wonderful people. Will go again.

Fun course for the money, very beautiful scenery. The course rolls back through the woods and you find yourself only surrounded by nature. Some of the greens are struggling in the last summer months. The price more than offsets any issues you might encounter. The staff members are really nice, the course is fun and the other services offered make this a nest venue. I recommend coming by for a round after 2:00 you can play 18 and ride for $19.

This is such a wonderful wedding venue! Quail Creek is a beautiful place to get married and has many options for indoor and outdoor weddings. The staff at Quail Creek are very friendly and will do anything in their power to help make your special day one that you will never forget. The catering services were amazing, as well as our floral arrangements made by the staff. Quail Creek also offers lodging accommodations as well. If you are an out of town guest or just looking to stay close to the venue this is a great option for your wedding guest/family. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding/event needs!

What. A. Joke! We reserved a spot back in late June and were told we had site 17. This is important since our daughter and son in law had 15 and we were in town to visit. They are temp assigned in Decatur for work. When we arrived our site was occupied and were promptly told “we don’t guarantee site numbers”. Of course this was not mentioned when we booked it and were told we had site 17. So they give us the lousiest back up site I’ve EVER seen on the back side of the equipment shed at least 2 hundred yards from the real campsites. They asked me to drive my 35’ motor home over a pice of dirt barely fit for my Jeep. When I refused, they led me down the cart path of the 10th tee. Yes, you read that right. The site was in grass, had poor water pressure and my electricity was basically a heavy duty extension cord. They also suggested we back as close to the shed as possible so we wouldn’t get hit by a wayward golf ball. On top of all this they acted like they could care less how they treated us. We’ve been rv’ing for many years and this was the All time worst. STAY AWAY!!!

We went for a business outing this morning to play 18 , we happened to choose this course due to the heat and it having more shade than a few others . so with that being said I recommended Quail Creek . We show up to find out the front 9 holes are closed for, aeration .. No biggie , so we begin playing and found out real quick like that the course is in terrible shape . The fairways are over taken with weeds , they are so tall we were losing high vis orange and neon green balls ... The cart paths have gotten worse , greens are splotchy and dry as the sahara desert ... It just needs a lot of maintenance and attention . Im unsure of the front 9 since they were closed but the back 9 were absolutely HORRIBLE ! ( Mainly due to just being grown up ) . Would recommend Chesley Oaks or Cross Creek !

This was an OK campground....but just OK. The benefit was the quiet space and everyone was pretty much quiet 24/7. Downfalls seemed to be a longer list. The pool hours are different on the website, on the sign at the pool and from what they verbally tell you, and nobody seemed to know who was running the pool or even cared. We would try and go to the pool in the middle of the day and it was locked. This happened to us 6 times. Management is poor here...they have several people in charge but nobody takes charge of anything. The management doesn’t seem to care at all about the campground, only the golf course. Most of the people who work here don’t seem to care at all about their guests, except for one lady who was a campground host, but had no authority for decisions for anything for the RVers. No shade made for HOT days in our camper... not having any shade by the campsites was a huge disappointment. Would recommend not staying here for a long period of time, or not at all.

I attended a wedding at Quail Creek not too long ago. My friends are kind of out of the box thinkers and they wanted to get married in a remote location with no power. They decided to use a large battery as a temporary power source. Despite the best efforts of the Quail Creek staff, the power died (for the 3rd and final time) just before the bride was to come down the aisle to the pre-recorded wedding march. The Father of the Bride saved the day by humming the tune (Here Comes the Bride...) as he walked his daughter down the aisle. A few in attendance joined-in with the humming and turned a very awkward moment into a very touching one.

We had a reservation at the RV park and got there about 4:15 pm. Seems like the RV spaces were added as an afterthought. You have to drive past the RV spaces up to the main office to check in--then turn your rig around and drive back to the RV section to your space--poor planning. The young man (a teenager) at the check-in told us the computer was turned off for the day (it was only 4:15 in the afternoon) and that we would have to come back to the office the next day to pay. He told us our space number but didnt tell us how to get to the space or give us a map. He just left. Many of the spaces are not laid out properly. The spaces are very long, but on many of the spaces the hook-ups are at the very back. So you really cant use those spaces for pull-throughs because you have to back your motor home up to the very back of the space and unhook your tow vehicle and park it in the front. We had to move to a different spot for this reason. Spaces are gravel so it can get muddy if it rains. Okay for one or two nights, but dont expect a lot.

We stayed three days at the RV park while dodging a hurricane down south. It was very quiet and clean. The staff and owner were friendly and accommodating. It’s a few miles off the interstate but there are signs to direct you in. All sites are pull-thru and sized for big rigs. I did see insulated water spigots at some sites. Our cost was 31.50 per night with GSC for full hookup.

Resort title for the golf course, maybe yes, but... not so for the Newer RV 20 site camp, at least not yet. Be prepared when arriving you will be driving past the RV sites to a further destination to the clubhouse area and then turning your rig around in a substantially tight turn area before heading back to your assigned site. Not one tree on any sites.Long sites, but gravel and not very wide so have to put chairs close to rig for not being in muddy grass. Some sites have concrete patios, but half do not.3 Bathrooms (mixed gender) of which are in a prefab small building with a laundry are very nice and clean.Hoping they are working on improvements for the RV sites as time goes on, but then again, perhaps true golfers may only care about the golfing.
