Women of color RUN! This place is not for us. The laser burned my skin and it was so painful! There laser is so old school. Save yourself from the pain and call Westchester laser associates instead. They are responsibly priced and have multiple Nd:Yag laser which cools the skin and is completely painless.

I came in with a 6 session Groupon for bikini area and I am amazed with the results... most hairs were gone, compared to other places Ive gone, you still see alot of hair growing after more than 6 sessions. I will be honest, Im not sure the type of machine they use at Dare to Bare for laser but it was painful, but worth it! I rather it to hurt for less than 2 minutes and have amazing results than waste my time and money somewhere that its not going to give me the end results I expected. I will be coming back to this place for touchups and my underarm laser. Everyone is nice and very professional.Thank you

Love love love this place!!!!! My waxes are done by Lisa...... great personality and her aftercare advice is solid.... I have been going there before Covid and have resumed right after as soon as they could safely re-open. The place is clean is always clean. Sira the receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. I have not done the laser ( my skin tone) will not allow me. But if I could I would because I trust this place!!!

I wasnt greeted as soon as I walked in so I was confused. However, after that the ladies were nice. The tech messed up and forgot to give me exactly what I wanted, but she was accommodating and gave me a discount for my next appointment.

Nice place but the laser hair removal is so painful. Even though it was quick the pain feels as if it were lasting forever. Parking can be challenging. I finally found a place in which they do laser hair removal but it’s painless. I didn’t believe it until I tried it.

I good friend recommended this place to get a facial and I decided to give it a try. I came to this place a few days ago because I wanted to take a look first, and really liked it! The ambiance, the staff, the treat… So a I booked an appointment right away. I had the Purity Bliss plus, and I dont know what they did but my skin but is glowing and super fresh, I will come back for sure and super recommend.

I have really high standards of Brazilians and Im so happy to write that they definitely meet my expectations. They were extremely sensitive and thorough to ensure that all my hair was removed. I am so happy with the facial that I received at Dare to Be Bare. The esthetician that worked on my face (cant remember her name) was amazing and thorough. She made sure she cleaned my face of any impurities while her facial massage was so relaxing to me. I felt like I was glowing by the end of my facial. I highly recommend them if you want your facials to end as relaxing and clean as mine was.

I know, men can get facials too okay? I really appreciated the great care they took in making sure my experience was comfortable when I was getting a facial here. I have really tough acne scars and I really wanted to get rid of them as safely as possible. Thankfully, the esthetician I had was professional, extracted as carefully as she could as to not incur new blemishes, and gave me advice about how to care for my skin better. All in all, great service! Totally recommend.

I had such a great experience with laser hair removal here at Dare to Be Bare. The treatments I had here were as comfortable as they could be, given how professional and knowledgeable the estheticians were. Now, I cant thank you all enough for my permanently hairless legs. My eyebrows were starting to become the running joke between my group of friends. They were nicknamed the fat caterpillars for how thick they were. Thankfully, Dare to Be Bare helped me get those under control with their wax services. They helped groom them so that they hit that great balance between looking cleaner without being overgroomed. Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from. I went in for a laser hair consult for my face. The lady I saw didnt introduce herself she just told me to follow her. She basically closed the door in my boyfriends face, apparently she didnt want him in the consultation. She was not friendly or polite. I drove 45 mins to get there because of the reviews and she spent maybe 5 mins with me explaining that this was not the right time of year to do my face. When I called to make the appointment I stated I wanted to do my face. Not sure why I wasnt told that when I was making the appointment. Waste of my time. Horrible place!!!!

LOVE this place- they are so great at what they do. Only complaint- and its a big one- they NEVER answer the phone and its super inconvenient. Its hard to make and reschedule appointments if a company is never answering their phone.

The Brazilian wax from Dare to Be Bare was by far one of the best Ive had. Virtually painless and so quick to boot. Super glad I found a salon I can go to now for my waxes!
