Dr Ravin has left. My billing is so high and when I ask them to apply my insurance they never do it. They blame it on the system but it’s been 7 months. Will not be returning to the Hartford office. Better off at different locations or a different dentist all together

My first time at this dental facility and I had an amazing experience. I have a bad fear of dentists as I was traumatized when I was a child. The very first person I saw was Kim the hygienist. She was very pleasant and understood how I felt and treated me with patience and explained what she was going to do and why. My visit ended up to be a very positive one. I rescheduled an appointment for my 2nd visit. I hope I get Kim again since she now knows how I feel about dentists.

Dr. Ravin is no longer there. My overall cleaning was pleasant and I planned on returning. However when I went to settle up my bill the front desk clerk (Sivaughn) was rude. When I asked why my bill was so high she Had no explanation, gave me some b.s. billing statement, became argumentative, and threatened to put me in collections. I happen to work for my insurance provider, and I went home and found several errors in my billing. I will be making my complaints along with my final payment tomorrow and will not be returning after over 15 yrs.

This was a wonderful experience! Heather and Johanna were kind, helpful and so funny - they really made it easy to feel comfortable as a new patient. Dr. Taylor was also extremely great - she took the time to answer all my questions and set up a plan with me that I feel very good about. Im really happy I found this practice...its full of competent and caring staff/doctors!

Cant say enough good things about Dr. Ravin and his top notch staff. They are very caring and fun to be around. Been a long time patient and they make it comfortable for me to handle procedures with my dental fear and hyper sensitivities. Happy my husband found this place for us to go.

I have been a patient of hospital dental since 1990! They have always made me feel very comfortable! I have allergies and other obstacles that make treating my teeth interesting and Im sure challenging. They are very attentive and helpful! I love this office! The staff is the best!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻 If it werent for them and their care and professionalism Id probably avoid dental work completely with all my issues. They truly are the best!!!!

Amazing dentist office, Ive been with them about 7 years now always a great time when I stop in for whatever may be needed. My parents use them, My brother and his family uses them and we all have good things to say about Dr. Raven and his staff. Its a very personal office they do a great job with making you feel welcome and knowing you on a first/last name basis. The staff here is also very honest and wouldnt recommend something to you that you wouldnt need. I would recommend this dental office to anyone who is searching for a dentist to call a home.

Just dont trust billing its insanely overpriced... Going elsewhere now finally got everything Ive been asking for and billing is 70% cheaper Im perplexed turns out I dont have as many cavities as I was told and my crowns that I was billed thousands for have to be replaced. Overall bad experience...

I love Hartford Dental Group. The staff are professional and caring. If you are afraid of the Dentist this is the place for you! Dr. Ravin and his team have excellent bedside manner and do not rush you. They allow you to take time if you feel you need a break. This is soothing to me as a patient and allows me to feel at ease. If you have not tried them you are missing out! Tell them I sent you and receive $25.00 dental credit!

An extraction and two crowns? No Sweat! I was fine in two hours. Dr Rabin was amazing, as was Theresa? You won’t believe this, but it’s true! I haven’t had one second of pain.

As always, the best team ever. I am a very difficult patient as I am very sensitive and the team knows how to calm me down and provide me with the treatment that fit my needs. You get both excellent customer service, Knowledgeable team, but they treat you as family. I have to say that they give the best service in town, not just great professionals, but also great customer service. I found Doctor Ravin online 6 years ago, its very stressful finding a good dentist, I bounced from dentist to dentist before I found Hospital dental group and I cant see myself going to another Dentist. In my opinion a great dentist is not really about teeth and gums. It’s about the well-being of their patients who own those teeth and gums, I love their ability to take good care of me and show me that they care. Dentists who love working with people help them make informed choices and building lifelong relationships.

My family and I have been going here for years and we get nothing but the best care when we come here! It feels as though we are part of the family & the experience is always a good time. They remember your face and name. They know my dental history and is accommodating to urgent issues. Dr. Ravin is wonderful and takes the time to explain the why and how. Dr. Ravin is the best dentist I have seen but there is something fishy in their billing department. I was told that they will do filling to one of my tooth but turns out they did 3 tooth(without telling me) and I didn’t have enough remaining amount in my insurance. so I have to pay a big amount out of my pocket.My wife had fillings on the same day, they said they did filling on 2 teeth but we got the claim from insurance for 3 teeth.When we tried to talk to their office staff, they were very rude. It’s very hard to talk to someone who isn’t interested and rude.Luckily we checked the irregularities this time, thats why we changed our dentist. We can not trust them anymore.I would advice everyone to always crosscheck the number of teeth filled here, so that you don’t have to pay a large out of pocket amount.

Wonderful experience! Had a Root Canal done today at 8:30AM. it’s 6:30PM and I have not experience any discomfort or pain.

Emily, the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth, was very professional and quite thorough. Dr Rabin then came by, as he always does, to check on her work and address any issues discovered by her diagnoses. An innovation: now one gets a report card on the overall health of ones teeth & gums.

Dr Raven and the Hilarious Hygienists (which is an awesome band name) have always treated my mouth with exceptional care.Had my wisdom teeth taken out here years ago. Since everybody told me horror stories and the dr said that smoke is from me drilling into your bone I was worried about the pain.Two days later I was pretty comfortable and surprised how well everything went.Dr. Raven even called me the night of the procedure to make sure I was alright. I was prescribed the good stuff so Im sure all I said was with those kind of blankets Im sure those giraffes are communists but it was really awesome to see how concerned he is for his patients.

Staff is very friendly, very accommodating. Everything is explained by each worker participating with your care. You are made comfortable about your treatment and made to feel safe.

They are always on time with appointments. Always checking in with you after the appointment to see how you are doing. Easy to talk to to voice your viewpoint the on your care. Always look forward to my appointments.
